Bordering on the supernatural, Hop Juju is the perfect name for this beer as the magical hops cast their spell with intense, dank aromas of pine and citrus and big, aggressive, bitter flavors of pine, grapefruit and orange. Nicely balanced by a very sturdy malt backbone. and a hint of alcohol.

3.9A delicious old school IIPA. Dank with heavy pine and lemon smells. Dark clear gold with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was strong and hoppy with not much malt muddying up the water. This was like thick hop juice with the heavy pine and lemon flavors dominating and a nice wet hot bitter hoppy finish. Good carbonation. Awesome beer that has been better from the bottle than on draft
3.6Bottle at home, dated 02/16/2017. Thanks Jeff! Pours copper, white head fades quickly to a film. Aroma is piney, spicy, a bit of citrus and toast. Taste is big sticky pine, honey sweetness followed by a bitter citrusy finish. Well pronounced bitterness that is not overpowered by sweetness. Heavier mouthfeel, smooth, faint alcohol burn. Moderate carbonation. Tasty beer!
4.1Thanks JC. Pine, bit boozy, touch of caramel. Good stuff, spiky. Like it a lot.
3.9Clear deep golden color. Very big, clean piney nose. Medium body, modest bitterness with modestly maltiness. So smooth. Drinks like 7%. Wow. Super drinkable. Would like more aggressive bitterness.
4.3Draft. Orange brown pour with white head. Herbal, citrus, orange hop aromas. Flavors are citrus, herbal, orange, grassy tones.
4.5Pour burnt orange with a one finger off white head with outstanding lacing. Aroma is of straight up weed, citrus, tropical fruits, resinous pine, herbal hops, and grassy hops. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma with some onion/garllic dank flavors. Has a medium-fulll body with a creamy mouthfeel and dry, pretty bitter, long, lingering finish. Overall, a fantastic, super dank DIPA that is very similar to Stone’s Enjoy By.
3.6Tap at Jose Pistolas, Philadelphia. Colour is clear dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, pine, hops and malts. Pretty basic but quite nice.drinkability for this ABV.
3.9Bottle from a trade. Poured into a snifter showing well filtered caramel orange with clean white lacing.
The nose shows pine and oranges.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied with a pricky alcoholic mouthfeel. Strong clean pine forwardness throughout but also supported by an equally strong malt backbone. Surprisingly, barely any bitterness on the back end by the alcohol heat does show on the palate. Having this fresh I can say it’s great, give it a bit of time and I could also see how this falls off quick.
4.1Pours hazy amber with low white head
Aromas hoppy citrusy, caramel, pine
Taste has hoppy notes of tropical fruits, caramel, pine, resin
4.2Pours clear amber with a medium frothy white head. Aromas of mango, grapefruit, peach, resin. Taste is extremely fruity with lots of resin and hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is slightly oily with medium body and carbonation.
4.2Draft at Bailey’s in Portland. Mostly clear orange with a one finger white head. Aroma is great, orange, mango and tropical notes, sugar, caramel, candy. The flavor has a nice hop/malt balance, which people on the west coast rarely appreciate, but as an East coast transplant, I do. Nice malty candy caramel base, very hoppy but not super bitter, nice orange and tangerine. Medium full bodied, great crisp feel. Solid. How does Fat Heads always crush it? Don’t care, will drink anytime.
3.4Clear brilliant gold under a thin white cap. Bright dank and piney aroma that’s got some grapefruit pith. Big hoppy and hugely bitter flavor that’s earthy and leafy acidic and pale malty. Too acidic hoppy for me.
4.0Bottle in Rome. intense orange gold appearance. Resin and caramel aroma. Strong, resiny hop. Full, rich body, alc richness is nice compliment. Lots of pine and resin. Lovely.
4.1Dark golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, pine, light toast. Taste of citrus, light pine, some grass, bitter grapefruit finish.
3.9Bottle sample at Hasse, thanks! Deep golden with small beige head. Aroma is citrusy, orange, grapefruit, pine and fruit. Taste is intense hoppy, oprange, grapefruit, pine, woody resin notes, malt and slight caramel with a hoppy finish. Good stuff.
4.2Bottle: Poured a deep yellow color ale with a nice foamy head. Aroma of juicy hops with nice citrusy notes and loads of tropical flavours. Taste is an incredible mix of juicy hops with loads of tropical flavours, some light residual sugar notes and some floral finish with almost no bitterness. Body is full with good carbonation. Wish I could have access to this beer on a regular basis.
4.0Pours a deep dark orangish amber color. Aromas of big hop action, sweet malts, and more hops. Flavor has some bready maltsy tastes with nice grapefruit and floral hop taste.
3.7Bottle shared by luttonm, thank you Matt! Pours amber, a bit unclear, with a little off-white foam. Aroma of hops juice, lots of tropical fruits and malt, alcohol. Flavour is balanced, medium malt profile with a good and persistent bitter end, alcohol. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not my favourite style, but nice.
3.8Bottle shared by luttonm in Rome-Italy, quite fresh. Thank you brother. Pours clear orangey color, little white foam. Nose: orange, garlic/onion, fruit pulp. Mouth: malt, mild bitterness, citric, an alcohol finish.
3.7Clear orange pour. Sizable eggshell colored head. Little lacing. Big danky, sweaty grapefruit hop aroma. Sweet roasted corn and sweaty armpits. But in good ways.

4.2On tap at the new whole foods pub in wexford. Golden color only very slightly cloudy lots of aromatic hops and a nice backbone
3/18 On tap at Wexford pub, still great
3.9Bottle. Pours a honey-gold, medium whitish head with decent retention and lace. Nose is dank like my cat pissed in a basement full of guava and passion fruit, some pine and cakey malts playing patty-cake in the background. Mouth is medium-full, relatively dry and sticky, lots of tropical fruit, citrus, pine, toast. Very nice.
4.0Bottle. Pours a clear orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is pine, dank, floral. Thick mouth, syrup, bitter hop bite, resin finish, very nice.
4.3Bottle from Matt McCue. Thanks, bro. Pours golden orange with beautiful foam that lingers throughout. Aroma is pine, bergamont, cumquat, and crystal malt. Taste is similar, with a great mouth feel and a lime rind mild bitter finish. This beer is even better in the bottle. Great stuff!
