Ferdinand Specialní Polotmavé Sedm Kulí 13%

Special half-dark beer brewed of several types of malts and hops with an addition of herbs (blessed thistle) which will give this beer a characteristic fragrance and a pleasant dry bitterness. Its ruby-red colour contributes to the overall perception of this drink.

2.6 Bottle. Malty aroma, caramel, herbal notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light to medium sweet and bitter. Medium body, malty bitter sweet finish. Average.
3.8 Bottle from Kaufland. Very beautiful appearance! Big head. Herbal aroma which I can't decipher. Very decent beer!
3.6 V skupinovej terapii. Prijemna horko sladka vona. Jantarova farba, pena pekne drzi. Chut sladkasta karamelova jemne s kavou. Na konci ostava.
4.0 Draft at Skupinova Terapia. Crystal clear bright amber color dense cream colored head. Nice aroma of burnt caramel brownies. Taste is black pepper and caramel on toast. Bone dry finish. Very good.
3.4 On tap at BeerFes Osaka 2018. Very fruity and spicy nose. Dark amber color, with a creamy beige head. Flavors are similar to the aroma/ Mid dark fruit, some herbal notes, and medium-strength bitterness. Very smooth thin-medium body. Good flavor changes throughout the palate and fairly well balanced.
2.8 On tap at Pezinok pije pivo Meh beer. Not as sweet as others of this class but that is it. Next please.
2.9 On tap at Pezinok pije pivo. Cloudy amber colour with big white head, aroma of caramel and malt, taste of caramel and malt, medium bitterness, medium sweet, short finish. It's ok.
3.0 0.5 l bottle from 'Különleges Sörök Boltja', best before October 2018. Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of caramel, toasted nuts and a touch of raisins. Moderately sweet, malty, minimally fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, a touch of dark honey and traces of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally grassy-spicy finish with a touch of cardboard. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid, probably not in its best condition anymore.
3.3 Tap at u kunstatu. Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, some cardboard. Finish is dry bitter. Overall: ok, better than from bottle.
2.1 V ratata. Vona sladkasta. Farba slabo polotmava. Chut vyrazne sladka na konci trochu kavova.
3.1 Pohodové dobré polotmavé pivo s jemnými rysy praženého chmele či karamelu, s jemným řízem a chutí a jemnou pěnou.
3.2 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a light beige head. Aroma and flavors of brown bread, caramel, earth, herbal notes.
3.1 Nice head, Amber to red colour, alcoholic aroma, malty taste balanced with nice palate, small body, refreshing, medium carbonation, soft bitter finish
2.9 Ruby/Mahagoni with medium beige head. Aroma is butter, caramel, molasses, black bread, slight coffee, slight nuts, some herbs. Taste is sweet pale malts with more black bread malt, a bit oily and smooth with sweet finish. Herbal harshness while swallowing. Not bad.
3.7 Bottle. Sweet roast, nuts, sweet potatoes and earthy notes, a hint butter. Bright chestnut, cream head. Medium full dry body, dry roast, butter caramel, broad earthy grassy hops, great balance and good drinkability.
3.5 Bottle. Beautiful ruby color with off-white head. Aroma is caramel, nutty, pale malts, a touch buttery. Taste is caramel malts and pale malts in the Polotmavy-typical mix, nutty, herbal hops. Buttery, sweetish fudge finish. Medium carbonation. Tasty, moreish, and drinkable, like a Polotmavy should be!
