3.7 Pint with no canning date. Stout look with a half inch of spongy foam on top. Nose has cream, cocoa, bread and a hint of coffee. Flavors of the same plus charred wood and a bit of prune. Heavy body with low-medium carbonation. A little sticky but not cloying.
3.9 473ml can. @ something like 9%, not quite 10. It pours inky black, very thick beer, tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and dark fruits, flavor follows, very rich and semi ashy/roasty, deep fruit notes, relaly nice.
4.1 Intense deep sticky malty beginning. Smooth caramel, deep roasted malts. Hints of burned tires and plums, tobacco, burned caramel. Nice deep and intense back, roasty caramelly burned with an easy to drink back. Very nice and deep roasted brew. Dry and deep.

4.0 Can at Falstaff. Very dark brown, creamy beige head. Sweet and sticky roasted malty coffee and chocolate, toffee, red fruits, leather, vanilla, light bitterness. Big body, oily mouhfeel, low carbo.
4.0 Can shared at a tasting. Jet black pour, beige head. Nose is dark chocolate, cocoa powder, warming booze, light dried fruity touch. Taste is pretty simple yet tasty chocolatey boozy sweetness with some molasses. Sometimes less is truly more. Creamy, silky body, soft carbonation. Not super complex, but nice and round.
3.8 Burk. Gott.
3.0 16 oz can at trailer park WTPhucs the point of daylight savings time tasting . Pours a black body with tan foam. Nice dark fruit, roasty, dark chocolate, sugared up black coffee aromas. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Sugary bitter sweet chocolate flavors with tangy dark fruit, dark coffee, herbals—- not bad

3.7 Pretty good but lacks some wow factor. Some chocolate, coffee, roasted but sweet malts. Ripe dark fruit too. A bit thin maybe.
3.9 Can from Beer Republic. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily. 060620
4.0 Black with a brown head - Malt aroma with some roasted notes and some hints of coffee - Malt body with a roasted flavour and bitterness - The roasted malt flavour goes into the finish - This was good
3.1 473ml can (thanks FatPhil). Pitch black color. Sweet, alcohol, roast, booze in aroma/taste.
2.8 473ml can (beerdome.nl) (6:3:5:3-:11=2.8-) Very dark, brief head, seems a bit fizzy. Rich roasty aroma, nutty, and a bit dusty. Full palate, a bit slick, carbonation a bit prickly. Dark bitter chocolate roasty taste, quite bitter, spicy soapiness a little messy. Not terrible, but a rather unsophisticated impy.DOes improve a bit as it sits, the carbonation lifts, and the increase in temperature sweetens it which helps cover the soapiness. Would possibly pop T and O up by one.
4.3 Tallboy, pours opaque black with dark tan head. Full bodied and creamy. Licorice and roasted malt aroma. Cocoa licorice and dark fruit taste, with milk chocolate finish. Excellent!

4.0 Can 473ml at home. From Beerdome. Canned 2019-05-16. A black beer with beige head. Aroma and taste have roasted mslts, sweet licorice, chocolate, faint coffee, caramel. Full body oily texture, soft carbonation, heavy roasted finish.
3.8 Ordentliches Imperial so wie das sein muss, schön röstig, Zartbitterschokolade, supergut trinkbar, nur ganz fein alkoholisch, passt.
4.4 Can. 9.5% ABV. A minimal sized tan head forms over a black body. Rather oily pour. The aroma has loads of licorice and brown sugar, with roasted malts, burnt notes, molasses, raisin and cocoa. Seems to me there's quite a lot of oats too, but the ingredients list says no. It's full-bodied, pleasantly warming and with a soft carbonation. Definitely not dry on the palate, and some bitterness show up to deal with the sugars. Some coating in the roof of the mouth. Roasted malts, molasses, dark chocolate, some cocoa and cocoa nibs, a vague vanilla-like touch, some dried fruits and burnt malts. Lasting sweet and malt driven finish, definitely on the dark side. A delicious beer indeed. 191222
3.7 Poor is black, small mahogany lacing foam. Chocolate, coffee, its all there in the aroma and taste. A damn good stout. (Arnhem 201912)
4.2 Black pour, the faintest of dark amber on the edges, solid mocha head. Nose is roasted barley and coco. Middle is coffee, coco, blackened malt, treacle, with a pillowy and oily mouthfeel. Finish is bittersweet, and more bittersweet, with some baking chocolate tagging along for the ride. Wow.
4.0 473 ml can. Pours jet black color with a small beige head. Chocolaty aroma with roasted malts, cocoa, hints of coffee, licorice. Flavor is roasted malty and bitter, dry cocoa, dark chocolate, subtle licorice notes, hints of spices. Alcohol comes a bit through towards the end. Very tasty and heavy IS. 4626
4.1 Very classic and perfectly brewed Imperial Stout without adjuncts. Black, very, small brown head and some sticky lacing. Malty aroma, toasted barley, chocolate and soy sauce. Tastes moderately bitter, lot of toastiness, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits. Booze stays in the background, quietly. Viscous and sticky on the lips, a great sipper while watching war scenes on TV during another sad day for HK. The beer is awesome, btw.
3.8 Can from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat.Pours pitch black with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts , coffee, tar and molasse. Taste is heavy malty, weak sweet , powerful roasty malts, smooth creamy mouthfeel, nice
3.8 Can from a friend. Black color, beige head. Bitter taste with roasted malts, nuts, coffee, dark fruits, chocolate and licorice. Bitter finish with roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, dark fruits, coffee and nuts. Excellent imperial stout.
4.0 Opaque black beer with a slight/medium beige head. Medium aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Caramel, chocolate, mocha and roasted malts. 7/5/8/4
3.4 Sampled at Churchkey's FiftyFifty event, pours a dark brown with some sudsy, grey head. Big bready nose, pumpernickel, rye, malt, some licorice. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, some caramel. Finishes sticky.
3.2 Finally I've had a chance to experience the base beer that spawned 5,000 gimmicks. And now everything makes sense. Smoke and lots of caramel. Elements don't hang together super well. Sugary. Some leather but elements don't mesh super well. Black pour with good mocha head and lacing. Very sweet finish. Putting this stuff in a barrel is only going to perpetuate its failings. Times 5,000. Or let's say 2,500 - 50 times 50. Tap at Churchkey.
