It’s not a unique idea, but one that everyone on the Central Coast understands… Call something “805” and it means local. As a regional craft brewer we have always known that the closer the beer is to where it was brewed, the fresher it is. In fact since 1996 our brewery has been built on fresh, local beers for the Central Coast…. so we created a beer just for our locals in the “805”.
Hope you like it… FW

2.6I wouldn’t guess that this beer is from Firestone walker that has so much better beers to offer for the same price. Go Firestone!
2.7eh. It is what it is, a clear gold, light bodied, grainy, malty brew with minimal hops. It’s better than the macro lagers and not a bad beer, but I wouldn’t get it again unless options were limited and the price was right.
3.012 oz can pours a clear dark golden color with small white head that vanishes without much lacing. Aroma is malty and lightly fruity, Taste is slightly sweet with a touch of hop dryness in the finish. Body is light to medium with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. This is a style I usually avoid, but this one is a fairly flavorful easy drinker.
2.9Crystal clear gold with a white head. Aroma is fruity yeast, sweet grains, grassy and herbal. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter.
3.6Dark gold color pour with a lasting one finger head maintained with a steady stream of carbonation bubbles. It has a sweet malty flavor. Light and crisp. Very good.
3.5Nothing special but good with food.
3.0Can. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, bananas, light fruity notes. TAste is very malty, fruity, light hoppy bitterness.
3.2Griz Haggerty bought me this beer. I enjoy it, I could see me drinking it again!
3.6Smooth
3.112 oz. can. Poured a clear blonde color with a white top that lasted throughout. Malty aroma. Tasted grain, crisp, straw, and cereal malts. Medium carbonation, medium body. Overall, very solid blonde ale!
2.2Not a bad session beer
poured medium amber, but no lacing or head
slight flowery aroma, not too much there
decent carbonation/mouthfeel
foretaste reminds me of bubble gum
slight hop finish
drinkable, good for a hot day
3.0Pours a clear golden-amber with no head, and no lacing.
Smell is sweet, caramel, few hops, and a touch of citrus.
Taste is a little crisp, somewhat lagarish, sweet malt, and some hops. Ends clean and crisp.
3.612 oz can. Chilled, this is a great spot-hitter. Clear, golden light lager color with a slightly leggy path of foam. Has a clean old-fashioned "beer" smell with just a slight fruity ale ferment around the edge. Drinks down nicely. A bit of hop sharpness, but no center stage. Just a clean dry malt flavor.
2.3Light malt aroma, which accompanies a smooth taste. Kinda reminds me of typical macro lager. I was kinda underwhelmed by this one. Maybe it wasn't fresh because it seemed to be missing something or several other things. Super watery and not worth the price. It was easy drinking, but I don't know this about this one. I'm not going to call it trash, but don't waste your time with this one.
3.0Gold body with thin white head. Light fruit aroma. Light malt taste with a hop edge. A session beer or one for a hot day.
5.0Great all around
5.0This is the best beer to me so far. This is always my first choice. Smooth great taste and no after taste
3.2Color is a deep bright gold with good carbonation and a soft one finger white head. Aroma is lightly sweet malt backed by just a hint of corn and hop spice. It has a light body with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is light, crisp and clean with just a hint of grain giving off a sweet corn note and a very mild bitterness that perfectly balances it all out. Aftertaste is very clean leaving it refreshing. Overall it's easy drinking and clean but for me it's just a little boring. It would be a great thirst quencher on a hot summer day.
2.4Had a skunky aroma. Golden color with flat head some bubbles. Aluminum can taste from a bottled beer. Left a metallic aftertaste on palate. Guys at work said they like this beer not for me.
2.916-OCT-2019, can @San Diego appartment, from Whole Foods Venice.
Clear golden with a low, white head. Sweet malt and yeast. Taste has a bit more nuances. A little hops too. Some citrus and spice. But this is far to sweet to be something I can drink a lot of. Simple and sweet.
3.4Draft: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and light acing. Aroma of clean cereal notes with some light residual sugar is refreshing. Taste is also dominated by clean cereal notes with some light residual sugar with a clean finish. Body is average with good carbonation. Nothing to write home about but clean and refreshing.
2.912oz can Pours a golden straw yellow color about finger and a half soapy head active carbonation smell of malts grassy lemon zest taste is smooth malty crisp very refreshing beer
3.0Bottle, LAX. Clear, bright citrine. Average bottle. Malty, not very bitter. Unremarkable. Fairly heavy body.
2.5It’s a decent beer nothing great but it’s pretty inoffensive to most beer drinkers so is a good party buy.
3.0On tap in Oakland. A light and refreshing beer with a sweet yeasty flavour. Not bad.
3.112 oz can 7/3/19 (Binny's Downers Grove) 44° in Shaker. Pours a clear golden with a small ring for a head. Aroma of bready, doughy, and slight caramel. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is a bit boring as I was hoping for something a little better.
0.512 oz can poured into a pint glass. Didn't know what the fuck kind of beer this was when I bought the sixpack. There is some lame description on the packaging. The brewers never got around to stating exactly what type of beer I was buying. So, what I end up with is expensive and boring amber ale. My advice is not to bother with this one as it is a shit beer on par with budzilla. Everyone who buys this kat piss by mistake, like I did, should demand their money back!
3.0Draught at the Iron Door Saloon, Groverland, smallish head, clear quite deep yellow color, aroma of banana and some maltiness, banana, fruity, malty flavor, light bitterness. Nice and drinkable but quite simple.
1.5Polished PBR. It smells a little nicer and has a slightly better drink-ability, but barely. For the pricepoint? No way!
3.4Taste: smooth, creamy, slight sweet, caramel, clean finish. Mellow malty nose. Golden hue, Clear as crystal, white head and broken lattice of lace. Medium body. Easy drinker.
