2.8 Golden body with lasting white head. Hop and malt aroma. Starts out full then goes flat in the taste. No finish.
2.9 Aroma of malt, bread and some fruits and honey. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall an OK Helles.
2.0 Pours clear golden with a three finger, white head. Aroma is bread and light hops. Taste is faint corn, moving to bread and light hops. Meh.
1.9 Feb 2021. Small swing top bottle. A light, nondescript pale lager. Sort of grassy. Metallic. Odd fruit. Not great. Tastes cheap and nasty, like an old shandy. [1.9]
3.0 Bottle from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Light to mid-gold and clear. A small layer of white head. Gluey metallic aroma with some lemon and light notes of white grapes. Sweet taste, some light honey, with the lightest bitterness in the long finish. Medium to high carbonation. Not exceptional but decent.
2.2 Golden color thick soapy head smell of grains malts taste of grains do taste a hint of caramel malts nothing strong bit bitter aftertaste
2.3 Nice bottle. A little bit of sourness and bitterness. Watery mouthfeel. Weak foam, almost none. Weak carbonation.
2.0 Aroma and taste of maltiness. Slight bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a decent while. Okay beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
2.9 Clear golden with a thin white head. Grainy aroma. Taste is predominantely grain, with just a hint of bitterness. Refreshing.
3.0 Pours super clear light gold with almost no head. It's hard to see how bubbles can rise that slowly in liquid. Somewhat sweet aroma with hay and grains. I actually like the flavor a fair bit. Light honey and a hint of malt. Smooth and pretty silky in the mouth which isn't the normal for a lager.
3.7 Ignore the online reviews that make this beer out to be average, it is a beer to the highest standard of its kind; it is tasty, refreshing, full bodied with a pretty much perfect (and all important) head. For the price as well, it’s a bargain! Read the full review here: www.beerwithus1.wordpress.com/2020/03/12/flensburger-gold
3.0 Toi volaoo una mierda de cerveza me Chupa el pico wena naty toi cagando llornado y termine cn mi mina xupala meandooOooooOooooOooooOOoOoO
2.8 Bottle, thanks Thomas. As gold as it says, it's a straightforward soft and sweet German Lagerbier. Looks nice and easy to drink, but otherwise unremarkable.
2.9 Predictably gold with a frothy white head that soon fades. Aroma is grainy with a hint of bear. Taste is mildly bitter with some underlying bready sweetness. The clean, crisp note at the finish is the highlight, but on the whole this is entirely unremarkable.
3.5 Just a clean golden German lager. Plenty of deep malt character. Some spicy continental hops. Clean and bready. Clean finish. Just a bit of spiciness and honey as it fades.
4.0 First off. These people are off their rocker. This is excellent beer. Pours up a crystal clear golden color with a small bubbly white head. Clean clear honey malt apple aroma. Taste follows with a clean clear straight forward malty taste. Honey like sweetness. Mild spice and cleansing apple. Amazing.
3.1 Flaska hos Jonas. Ljust gul med vitt skum. Citrus och bröd i doft och smak.
1.9 Light yellow color. Skunky aroma. Very light and watered down. Not a lot of flavor.
3.6 (Bottle) I can't for the life of me figure out why this one has such low ratings. Maybe it's because of the bias on RateBeer against low ABV beers. As soon as I open the bottle there is a burst of aroma, a pleasant maltiness with some hops evident. Pours a beautiful golden amber, very clear. The carbonation seems to stay in the beer when pouring; in spite of me pouring it sloppily, there was little head, yet when sipping the carbonation was present and crisp. As I sip, aroma is surprisingly fruity, almost hinting at pear. There are also some notes suggesting dust, stone, or paper. Altogether, very interesting and somewhat atypical aroma for this style. Flavor is a balance of sweet and bitter, with a light sourness. A bit heavier than I'd like, but altogether a pleasant beer. Not top-notch but nowhere near as bad as it is getting rated on average.
2.8 Pours a clear golden with a white head that dissipated almost instantly. The aroma is a mediocre combination of bread, barley, earth, grain, and nuts. The taste is a little happier. There is still a mild grainy presence, but this is overshadowed by grass. These elements are found with caramel, bread, and honey, together with a quick grassy finish. Its light in body and kind of crisp in texture. At best, this is a dull offering.
2.6 Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with a vegetal note and a hint of perfume. The flavor was sweet and tangy with a vegetal note, light bitterness and some astringency. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth.
2.5 Clear 0,33 l swing top bottle. Clear golden, mid white head. Grassy straw smell with citrus. Taste starts grainy, thins out, littel bit citrus and grain in the second part. Cardboard aftertaste with some caramel. Boring stuff.
2.1 Bottle from beerhawk. Clear golden appearance. Not much aroma just a little malt. Flavour is corn, grassy and malt.
2.5 0,33 l Slabo pivo..okus jako vodenast, pjena brzo nestaje, zlatna boja, aroma kukuruza..nije mi se dopalo..
2.5 0.33l bottle from Aldi. Clear yellow body, off-white big head, fairly persistent. Moderate yeasty, sourish aroma. Neutral taste, bit of malt, bit of mild sourness, hint of dry bitter aftertaste. Moderate carbonation, crispy mouthfeel. Very round. Apart from the sourness, it is flawless but also rather boring.
3.7 Good when chilled, but not a favourite. The pills is better
4.0 Poured from 330ml bottle into pint glass. A thin white head falls rapidly with mild lacing. Color is clear gold with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma of toasted barley, lemon, grass, Mouthfeel is light to medium with a mostly dry finish. Flavor of biscuit, cracker, some floral and grassy hops. Overall: very good.
