3.6Malty aroma and a little caramel. Malty aroma of herbs. Good bitterness that fills the whole mouth for a decent while. Good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
3.8Hard to believe I have not had this classic. This was rich, complex and thick. On draft at the summit beer station, a pretty cool place.True to style, but a bit richer and more complex than usual.
4.0Faktisk ganske god!
3.3Pours a clear dark golden with a large off white head. Grain a hop aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt, crackers, a bit of maple syrup and very mild hoppiness. Pretty good, but it's a Maibock.
1.4Amber and clear with a three centimetre thick head.
Dry hoppy smell with a fruity, malty note. Malty taste with a fishy ending.
3.5Amber with tjin bubbly white head
Aroma is fresh grainy malt
Flava is malty grainy notes of caramel
Feels medium with thick foamy fizz

2.90,33l bottle. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, metallic. Taste is sweet, malty, metallic, hint of honey, some fruit.
3.1Taster at Bittercreek. Clear golden, skin of head. Malty aroma, sweet, citrus. Taste circles back to the malts and rides them hard to the finish. Medium weight, Kind of sweet.
3.1Bottle from Great Grog. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Aroma of copper and tinned orange. Flavour of tinned pear and syrup. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s a touch too sickly sweet for my liking.
2.7Pours clear amber with three finger, white head. Aroma is thin caramel and light roast. Taste is caramel, moving to light roast. Finish is caramel. Meh.
3.2Butelka. Bursztynowe,klarowne o średniej białej pianie,która szybko opada do pierścienia. W aromacie słód, tosty,karmel . W smaku słodko,karmel ,słody,trochę rozgotowanych owocow. Małe wysycenie,alkohol dobrze ukryty....sam nie wiem..jakos mi nie weszło...
3.0Złociste wchodzące w jasny pomarańcz klarowne piwo z niezbyt dużą pianą. Aromat słodowy, w smaku podobnie dominują akcenty słodowe, finisz lekko wytrawny. Na zimne zimowe wieczory
3.3Bottle from Spec’s. Clear coppery amber with a near white quick receding head. Toast, bread and caramel aroma with maybe a hint of citrus. Toasty sweet taste with a not insignificant but mild bitterness. Medium bodied and smooth.
3.3Creamy off white head left s lacy cover on a clear dark copper coloured still body.
Heavy malt, spices & ripe fruit aroma.
Medium bodied, soft & smooth over the tongue with a clean finish.
Full tastes of syrup, malt, sugar, sweet peach, spices & stewed fruit. Similar to Barley Wine but with no alcohol taste.
4.6A picture perfect rendition of a traditional German bokbier. Starts with a gorgeous striking clear copper pour capped with a resilient fluffy white head. Dollops of lacing grace my traditional dimpled mug. Bready aroma with caramel notes and some dark fruits, a nip of spicy continental hops and a nip of noble twang. Lightly sweet and malty throughout with a bready tail that shows off a bit of hop sting, then fades out cleanly.
3.8Found on tap at Mad Anthony's in Waynesville, NC. Light in color with a light malt aroma. Well balanced and easy to drink. Good early spring option.
3.7Fliptop bottle from Bruisin' Ales. Pours dark copper with a slight, creamy white head. Warm, smooth roasty malt - German roast - not APA roast. Med body. Flavor is smooth roasty malt with a slight hint of spice - Saaz lurks? Not dry, but not at all sugary. Perhaps a mild touch of heat on my tongue. The total package is very pleasing.
3.1330ml bottle. Clear amber brown with one finger slightly off white head. Aroma is malty with bread, caramel, light citrus, light orange light pear and noticeable alcohol. Taste is smooth and sweet with bread, caramel, butterscotch, light floral hops and fruity alcohol. Medium, very smooth mouthfeel, light carbonation and sweet, light malty aftertaste with a warming alcohol presence.
3.8Amber body with a lush, off-white head. The aroma oozes off well-rounded malt and grain notes. The body delivers deeper melanoidin and amber malt notes with smooth graininess around the edges, along with a speckling of dark fruits. Toasted caramel emerges upon aeration. Tasty, smooth, and enjoyably on the sweet-side.
2.7Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local 'trinkgut', best before September 2019. Clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty aroma of grains and a touch of honey. Quite sweet, malty, a bit floral taste of grains and some honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly musty and a bit metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not a great Bock.
3.133cl embossed buegelflasche. BB 09.06.19. Pours a clear orange, white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is lagery, some toast and fruit, light booze, light spicy sweet. Flavor is metallic and a touch nutty, sweet and spicy, some bitternes sin the finish. Basically bittersweet liquid cinnamon bread. Its okay, but a bit sharp.
2.2Aroma; minerals, fruits, malt.
Look; fawn head, deep golden body.
Taste; herbal hops, malts, floral perfumes.
Finish; floral n spicy.
Feel; solid body.
Overall; too perfumed for me.

Bernsteinfarbenes Bier, flacher weißer Schaum, keine Gardine. Riecht nach Karamell, würzig. Schmeckt nach Karamell, süß, würzig, süffig.
4.3Crisp, smooth, aromas and flavours of cinnamon and honey. Full bodied and lacking in fizzy which is only ever a positive statement from me.
3.6Feb 2018 - Attractive little 330ml swing top bottle at home in Richmond, as 'Flensburger Winterbock', 7%, BB Sep 2018. Little gush on opening. Pours a dark violin rosin / amber orange, totally clear, sparkling, foamy beige head leaves streaky lacing. Aroma is white bread and booze, sticky malt sugars, crackers and crumpets. Body is rounded, quite full with soft carbonation. Taste is subtle booze, white bread, little white pepper, rounded full malts, crisp with a little spiritous and musty linger. I'm quite surprised by the low score. It's definitely simple but it's also got a lot going for it. Drinkability is excellent. Mouthfeel is absolutely perfect for this sort of beer. Enjoyable. 3.5Deep golden colour, medium head and retention, irregular lace.
Aroma of honey, citrics, cinnamon.
Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation.
Taste of cinnamon, honey, vanilla, fruits.
Good.
3.3Sampled at SBWF 2017.
Small off white lace.
Big honey aroma.
Sweet caramel taste.
Full body but low bitterness.
