2.9 Ok. Drinkable. Kind of macro, not really taking any chances. Probably would not buy this again.
2.6 330ml bottle from a friend. Thanks Ulla! Clear amber colour with a white tiny head. Mild fruitiness and malts, metallic and short taste, not so fresh.
3.2 On the beach Longboat key, Florida. Mild mild malt taste with a faint hint of hops. Light taste on a hot day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy
2.9 Bottle. Pours an amber color with a fair head. Aroma of malt sweetness and not much else. Taste is similar with caramel sweetness. No real bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth with a laid back feel. Fits the Key West lifestyle.
3.4 On tap at the brewery taproom. Reddish amber body with good clarity and a durable off-white head. Good bitter-sweet balance. Ample light and medium malt flavor. Feel: a bit thin but this works OK with the medium+ carbonation and light dryness.
2.6 2015 BJCP Category: 19A American Amber Ale AROMA: Light caramel maltiness, a hint of butterscotch. No hops. 7/12 APPEARANCE: Mostly clear shade of dark amber/light copper. Large, white, frothy head. Good lacing and retention. 3/3 FLAVOR: Malt-forward palette, though not especially sweet. Mild caramel/toffee flavors and some dry bitterness in the second half but no hop distinctiveness. No flaws, but not much to spec. Way too mild. 10/20 MOUTHFEEL: Light/medium body; fairly crisp. Smooth and clean aftertaste. Too light for the style. 2/5 OVERALL IMPRESSION: This is clearly a mild beer intended for a pedestrian audience. Succeeds as such, but not a great example of the style. 5/10 TOTAL SCORE: 26/50
2.8 Enjoyed from bottle at Morada Bay while eating in Islamorada FL. I didn’t take tasting notes, but this was just an average amber ale, nothing tropical about it.
3.2 Clear copper color, malty aroma , sweet and crisp taste, some hops but a little more would help balance sweetness
1.4 Draft. Amber color with minimal white head and no lacing. Light toasted biscuit aroma. Light biscuit malt flavor with some bitter bite in the finish. Watery mouthfeel and thin body.
2.9 Pours a dark amber from a tap. Slightly hoppy, more bitter than floral. A little unbalanced and watery. Meh.
2.9 Caramel flavor. Very much like Yuengling Pleasantly surprised. Nothing offensive about it at all.
3.4 As someone who doesn’t drink a lot of ambers, this is good. Looks good, smells good, tastes good. Seems like a great textbook amber.
2.9 エール 味はあるけど、そんなにつよくない
2.4 Draft. Medium off-white head atop lightly hazed amber body, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, light spicy, bread/caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, bread, some earthy, light orange, caramel. Light-medium body.
2.8 Tap at Wyndham lake Buena vista. Deep amber with a nicely lacing cream gravy colored head. Aroma of caramel and toasted malts. Taste is toasty, lightly bitter, and lightly sweet. Light-medium bodied. Certainly nothing special, but not bad.
2.7 bottled - purchased in Fla - amber color. Not much aroma. Slight fruity flavor. Good drinkable brew.
2.8 Beer basically based on caramel. A lot of it in aroma and taste. I was expecting rather a bit more from this beer.
3.0 Tap@Islamorada Fish Company, Florida Keys. Amber reddish beer with a light head. The aroma is caramel and hopped, the flavour is gently hopped and bitter. Overall an average Amber ale with roastedness and bitterness.
2.9 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy weak caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with weak hoppy hints.
3.0 Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. ARoma. Caramel, sweetness, flowers, spice. Flavour. Fruits, caramel, sweetness, some herbs and flowers. Thin bodied. Ends light bitter and fruity.
2.8 Bottle at yespr. Clear golden colored with a small white head. Fruity aroma of caramel and bread. Fruity flavor of caramel and bread with notes of hops. Sweet finish.
3.1 12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light grassy. Toasted malty and breadish malty. Bitter and toasted malty. Dry finish.
3.0 A decent light easy drinking beer with a hop kick.
2.9 On draft before dinner. Poured a mostly clear golden amber color with a small white head. Aroma was light caramel notes, some mild earthy hops. Aroma reminds me a bit of my homebrew. It’s not bad, just seems a bit unrefined, and lacking in real crispness. Hate to think it was the tap lines. It was certainly acceptable, clean enough to finish throughout the rest of my meal but I wasn’t clamoring for a second one.
2.9 Light Amber pour with some sweet grains, mild bitterness. Light and uneventful body. Pretty much a bland ho hum ale.
3.0 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Walgreen’s. Aroma: light malt. Appearance: small, frothy, white, initial head with fair lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, light-amber body. Taste: lightly sweet, citrusy initial flavor and lightly bitter, nutty finish with short duration. Palate: medium bodied with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: not bad. Thirst quenching with some noticeable flavor.
3.0 A very good alternative to a bud heavy or MGD. Very crisp light but not to light taste. Finishes well and goes down smooth. Above average ale.
3.0 Pours a clear golden copper on tap with minimal head or lacing. Aroma is bready malt with hints of caramel and chocolate. Taste follows with a dry biscuit lingering finish. Nothing all that crazy, but a nice easy drinker.
3.0 Transfer from BA review on 11-1-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours an amber color with some light red tints. Upon pouring there is a one finger white head that has a rather decent retention. Upon fading the head gives way to a nice level of lacing. Smell – The aroma is almost none existent. All I can pick up are some lighter notes of a bready nature mixed with a tiny biscuit and hop Taste – The taste begins with a dry biscuit and bready flavor. These flavors remain throughout the taste, but only very light changes are in the taste otherwise. A lighter citrus and grassy flavor comes to the tongue more toward the middle of the taste. It starts out light and grows slightly stronger toward the end with a light caramel flavor coming to the tongue. In the end a bready and lightly bitter flavor is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather light to medium in creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Decent for the crisper and bitter flavors and makes it rather easy to drink. Overall – Nothing really all that great. Pretty bland in the taste department and lacking any complexity or nose. Nothing to really go out of your way for.
2.9 Bona cervesa, és bastant equilibrada i gustosa. Buena cerveza, es bastante equilibrada y sabrosa.
