2.4 Shared with wombat23 and darbeer75. From the bottle. Tan head of modest duration. Mild coffee, touch vinous and nail polish. Taste is bitter, some coffee grounds, stale tobacco smoke, old hangover. Body is light. Not really stoutish. All over the place and not really anything.
3.2 Bottle. Dark rededish amber with a small off white head. Fruity and malty tones. Fruit, malt, sour and bitter. Medium body with a bitter / fruity finish.
2.5 Bottle @ THT. Pours a clear brownish reddish beer with a thin white head on top. Aroma of buttercookies, diacetyl and caramel. Flavor reflects the aroma, sweet, malty and lots of buttery, cookies notes in there. Full bodied, long in aftertaste, which is bitterswet. Not liking the buttery notes in there, but the rest is decent.

4.0 Very dark brown with a creamy, persistant, light brown head. Aroma: Chocolate, caramel, liqorice, oatmeal and a touch of coffee. Taste is more burnt and bitter than suggested by the aroma, but still nice. A tad thin though
2.7 Very dark brown with a red tinge and brown tinted head. Smells a little fruity and caramelly, but then has an incongruous thin, bitter taste.
