3.2Pour is hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a nice bready and hay malt with some grassy hops. Flavor is an even better more richer bready malt. A little bitterness tickles the tongue as this goes down. A very good malt to hops combo. This is a tasty pils lots of rich bready malt.
3.5Bottle. Pours clear golden medium white head. Aroma of hay, grass, bread. Light sweet taste. Finishes balanced with light hop bitterness. Solid pils.
3.6Multiple sixers consumed over the past few months. Bottle packaged on Aug. 6, 2016. Darker shade of golden. Scattered white foam hangs around to the end of the glass. Subdued but mostly clean nose of lemon, toasty baguette, hay, herbs and a hint of DMS. Soft, plentiful carbonation. Malt immediate unfolds with a richly toasty and pleasingly soft texture. Ensuing grip of scratchy herbs beautifully cuts the deep fluffiness with an expressive but well-integrated peppery bite. Hops exhibit a well-layered lemony vibrancy and ample oiliness as they blossom, beautifully matching the sassier pepper elements. Continually lush and expertly extracted malt pervades with plenty of succulence that satiates and causes the lips to smack. Finishes baguette-rich, yet laced with appetizing shades of fervid spiciness and drying herbality from the hops. Someone knows how to make quality lager at Foothills. Aside from the DMS, which greatly dampens the elegant aromatics (DMS was also detected in their recent batch of Oktoberfest, FWIW), this is very well made and shows much promise. Soft and juicy malt coupled with a nice punch of herbal hops equates to a nicely balanced and fun-to-quaff pils. I’m wondering who’s in charge of the "Hop of the Month" series, because I gave up on the pils (Madarina) and Vienna (Wakatu), which were rather defective and not at all like this lovely number.
3.1Tap. Pours clear gold. Aroma is faint with notes of pale malt, floral notes, and some yeast esters. Flavor is dry and malt forward with faint grassy and floral notes with a touch of lager yeast esters. Medium body.
3.0Draft. Pours clear gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like corn, doughy malt, grassy, and faint citrus. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like corn, doughy malt, grassy, and faint citrus.
3.0On tap at P&P Charleston. Clear golden with big white head. Crisp noble hops, light body, medium/light carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light malt.
3.0Pours a golden yellow with a white head. Aromas of bread/malts/hops. Crisp hop flavor with hints of fruit/malt.
3.3[8067-20160130] 12floz bottle. Sweet grainy light corn aroma has a strange interesting spice to it. Slightly hazy, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Straw spiced grains flavour. Medium body. Good, simple. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

3.7On tap at DeSoto. Super solid Pilsner. Not lacking in flavor. Crisp and dry at the end. Screams noble hops- spice and grassy notes. Malt is biscuity. Bit of an odd finish- overly floral. True to style and very drinkable.
2.6Aroma impression is lightly hoppy with the signature lemon and "spicy" / pepperiness of Saaz, with a quiet note of cheese rind / must (guessing old hops). There’s a small dose of DMS in the aroma as well, giving it an iceberg lettuce unpleasantness. It’s medium-light bodied, lightly sweet with mild bitterness, showing off-notes of chemicals and soap in the finish. It’s not strongly offensive, the off-notes are pretty mild overall, but there’s also little clear impression of the hops and the malt is completely forgettable.
3.8Draft pour into a pint glass. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has grassy and herbal notes and bready notes. Almost lemony. Refreshing and super bready. Medium body and medium carbonation.
2.1Aroma is grassy with no noble hops. Flavor of astringent hops that mask the malt. Malt flavor is grainy, simple and clearly not decocted. Rather underwhelming.
2.82016-01-30. Yellow body, small white head. Aroma is oddly floral and grassy. Flavour is lightly bitter and quite floral, in a way I don’t care for unfortunately. Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. 5/3/5/3/12 Bottle shared by Sammy.

3.912 ounce bottle - Bullock’s Wine & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a crystal clear, golden body with an inch or two of fluffed whitish froth.
Smell: A little bit toasty atop the pilsner malts, scantly buttery and everso hinting of sweetness with some dried herbal, floral tones and touch of lemony citrus.

3.6Bottle. Nice pour into the glass with a decent head. Mild, pleasant aroma. Good taste with more flavor than what I was expecting.
3.8Bottle. Light golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, bread, straw, floral hops, herbs. Hint of corn. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Linger bitterness. Clean, crisp, balanced and solid in both taste and aroma. A pleasant surprise that left me wishing I had brought home more than a couple of bottles.
3.6Bottle at Wally & Brianna’s wedding. Light bodied but clean and not offensive. Clean malt, soft fresh bread, pale crisp wheat and soft grains. Nice wedding beer offering for sure.
3.6Medium golden pour, with a white head and nice lacing. Aroma is grains, and some light nuttiness. Flavor is crisp like light bread, with nuttiness in the back end. Crisp and clean. Easy drinker.
3.0CLT airport on tap. Pours clear golden. Hint of sweetness. Bitter mouthful at onset.
3.2Bottle into Pilsner glass. Good looking pils w solid white head and straw body. Mild malt aroma. Taste more full bodied and flavored than average pils - pronounced malt, grass, mild citrus. Mild bitterness throughout. Decent beer but stretches the definition of traditional pils.
3.8Bottle (Mellow Mushroom, Charleston SC, May 2015). Head is mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain/bread), moderately hoppy (honeysuckle flowers, herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Had bottles and draft samples of this in Raleigh NC the week before the Savannah/Charleston week of the trip, and this beer was just as impressive there too. Clean, great malty-hoppy balance, and pretty true to style as well. Great quaffer and enticing to sniff too. Could stand to be just a touch more bitter but I quibble about that for a number of Czech pils, and it’s hard to deny the lip-smacking malt character of this one. A solid pils that stood up to the test of repeated samples. Something I would buy in sixers at home if I could.
3.3Pours gold with a medium white head. Aroma is grass, citrus and pepper. Taste is tart with a crisp finish. Light bodied.
2.8Pours a clear light yellow with a white head. Subtle aroma. Taste is light bready malt with a stiff bitterness of a classic pils.
3.3I don’t usually expect much from a pilsner, but with a viking on the front I had to try it and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a light/medium body, a thick white head that stuck and a mild bitterness that gave it some character. A nice summer beer that I would drink again.
4.6Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a nice malt and hop aroma
Appearance- pours a slightly murky light yellow color with a medium sized white head.
Taste- A well blended malt and hop flavor, this is a very good tasting pilsner.
Palate- A light to medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation and a lively texture on the tongue.
Overall- A really good beer that I highly recommend.
3.3On tap at RFD (Washington DC). Limpid golden body with average carbonation and a thin, white creamy head. Decent, well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with herbal hints. Its crisp, hoppy taste carries malty, herbal, and grainy notes. Ends with a good bitter/herbal finish. Not bad at all.
3.7A pretty typical pils. Light with a straw color and a light grassy aroma. Surprisingly thick mouthfeel and a dense biscuity malt base.
