Our American Amber Ale is famous for its balanced flavor and impeccable smoothness. Caramelized malts give this beer its sweet flavor and signature copper hue. Bravo hops attribute a slight bitterness to the finish.

3.2 Bottle 35.5cl. Poured into a fluitje glass. Clear medium amber, small creamy off-white head, recedes, lacing; aroma is malts, caramel, light citrus, earthy notes; taste bit thin, medium sweet and bitter, malty, burned sugar, average to long duration, dry finish, herbal notes; light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation; ok.
3.5 En del sødme af karamel i det første af smagen den glider så over i en smag af humlen.
3.1 Pours a medium gold, light khaki head that is fairly resilient. Aroma - caramel, soft hops. Taste - malty with some moderate resin hops. Really went well with pizza.
3.2 12 fl.oz bottle. Pours hazy orange golden colour with a mid-sized beige head. Aroma of red malt, dry fruits, mild hops, nuts. Taste of dry fruits, red malt, nuts, caramel, nice!
3.3 Tap. Lots clear copper, medium beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is light, malty, nutty, grass. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, nutty, caramel, grass. Lightish body.
2.7 It’s not a drain pour...but with great beers out there...why bother? the "F" o" stands for &^#! off! Nice try... I’m bored...
3.1 BOD 4/3/15. Pours a clear copper. Normal head volume, lacing and retention. Very light nose of biscuit with a hint of caramel and toasted grain. Light body with a texture slightly heavier than water. Superb carbonation with a nice effervescent middle and a finely bubbled prickly finish. The flavor profile is rather weak. You get some toasted grain, very little biscuit and a mere hint of caramel. The middle has a mild bitterness. The finish is a slow bitter fade.
3.2 Bottle from Mills. Caramel body with top head. Nose is malty, caramel. Taste is malts, caramel, sweet. Nice body with clean finish.
2.3 Some coppery metallic taste. Some light mash malt. Orange pour with OK head and lacing. Some barley. Ok drinkability. Tap at Annapolis brewpub.
3.6 4.7%ABV. Amber Ale. This was my 2nd tap in a Rams Head Tavern and it was anything but sophomoric. It tapped out at a deep amber color 8-10ºSRM with a respectable head of foamy white bubbles. Nose is full bodied and whispered well-roasted quality malts. The palate had light carbonation giving it a light mouthfeel which was clean and light without being watery. Aroma and flavor was just mainly about the full bodied toasted malt flavor hinting at dark toast and toasted vanilla granola oatmeal. Nice finish of clean bitter hops. Goes on Favorites List
2.8 335 ml bottle - Dark brown more than amber, no carbonation visible or head. Very little aroma or palate with as little taste.
2.9 Flaske 355ml spandert av Rune og delt på Nerstranda 12 Mai 15. Mørk amber. Litt skum som daler raskt. Filmskum. Aroma av plommer. Smaken balansert. Mandler & plommer. Svakt syrlig avslutning.
3.0 355ml bottle, 5 % abv, beer gift from Skinnyviking. Apricot coloured body, slightly hazy. Stable, tiny white head. Smell of dried fruits and toffee. Malt-fruity taste including caramel, bread, nuts, and herbal hops. Mid-dried fruity tail. Fair enough (shared with Finn at his place, Tromsø 12.05.2015).
2.1 Not much going on the nose, some floral aroma. Taste is initially sweet, with some malt character in the background. Metallic and bitter aftertaste. Rather watery, not much to recommend going on here.
1.7 Pours copper amber, ivory head. Aroma is peach, iron, bread. Fresh, watery, just slightly bitter. Long finish.
3.0 12oz bottle from Pizz5116. Pours a clear golden copper color with a finger of foamy off white head. Aroma of Amber malts, wet dog, and hints of earth and nuts. Taste of toasted Amber malts, earthy bitterness, yeast, metallic, and some sour lemon zest in the finish.
3.1 Bottle at Meadows. Nose is sweet malts, caramel. Taste is grainy, weird malty, fudge.
3.2 35,5 cl. bottle. Clear amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, hops, fruit, malt and bread.
3.0 Bottle at home. Pours copper coloured with a quickly disappearing white head. Sweet, malty aroma. Taste is caramel, fudge even with slight vanilla softness and a little bitterness
2.5 Beer of month club. Pours an ice tea color with thin film. Nose is a malt bomb. Taste starts out ok - some caramel - but then ends with some funkiness (best described as bad bitterness from hops, I guess). Not that good.
2.7 Clear copper pour with not much head. Bready malts and some flowery hops in the nose. Taste falls flat. Not much going on, just some stale malts and a funky finish that isn’t much of a good thing. I’ve had much better.
3.1 Slightly hazy amber/red colour with a dense one-finger white head. Aromas of toffee, bread and some toasted malt. Toffee malt sweetness up front with dried fruits, brown sugar and earthiness. Medium body, gentle carbonation, sticky mouthfeel and a lingering sweetness.

2.9 Bottle from Wholefoods, Kensington. Pours rusty orange/copper, off white head. Nose is caramel, sweetish, grainy bread malt. On the sweet side. Taste is caramel, bread and grain malt, bit of an astringent hop, sugary, malty. Not a fan of this.
2.4 Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Kuiv suutunne. Päris halb pole, aga paras pettumus siiski.
2.8 @Voldby ølmesse 2014 - Aroma: Sweet caramel with fruity hops. Flavour: Fruity sweet with notes of caramel and dry finish. Color: Amber with an offwhite head.
3.3 355ml bottle from Oddbins Queensferry Street. Pours clear amber, thin off-white head that doesn’t hang around. Aromas of caramel, light honey and nuts. Taste is more of the same, light herbal bitter, but honey sweetness dominates. OK.
2.8 Bottle from Voldby. Clear copper with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, light bready and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finsih. 061014
3.6 Aroma: Medium malt, caramel. Hops: Medium-light, citrus Appearance: Body: Clear copper. Head: Large, rocky, white. Lacing. Flavour: Medium hop flavours, resiny, Medium bitterness. Malt: Medium, caramel, Dry with lingering resin initially, but resin is joined by caramel later on. Some astringency Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Carbonic sting. Overall: The astringency is a problem, but the rest of the beer is good. 355 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre 10B. American Amber Ale
2.3 Hazy copper with off white head. Light aroma with caramel and some fruitiness. Taste is light bitter with some malty sweetnes. Light body.
