3.0 Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours clear golden with a big creamy white head. Aroma is weak amber malts, some passion fruit. Taste is harsh bitter orange zest, high carbonated, very dry mouthfeel.
3.1 The aroma rises exciting up through this IPA dense white durable foam, forming a beautiful aroma picture of pine and citrus on a light caramel malt background. The taste is powerful and strong hops where the flavors of orange peel, pine needles, peach and light caramel is the main theme. Lovely creamy mouthfeel keep the flavor in the mouth for a long time and leaves a dry aftertaste. Pleasant IPA where especially hops with fruity flavor is dominating.
4.0 02-JUL-2015, bottle @home, from Kihoskh. Almost clear golden with high, lasting, lacing, creamy head. Grape fruit and pine, Caramel and ripe fruit. Very bitter, quite malty, full and sweet. Creamy, very nice.
3.4 Light citrus and some pine. Light better finish. Some grassy notes. Easy drinking. Some bitterness in finish. Tap at brewpub.
3.8 7.5%ABV. American IPA. This was a a little bit of a surprise and when it tapped out that deep, almost red amber gold (6-8ºSRM), I fell in love. The nose was light and had a clean fresh citrus nose. Pronounced carbonation made the whole experience less hefty and a made what would otherwise have been a ponderous ale so very deceptively drinkable. Each sip finished off with a clean light mouthfeel. The palate is robust, boasting a full malty body, hop-balanced with bright citrus where grapefruit peel predominates and then a short slide of bitter into a nice clean palate. Ready to go again... Goes on Favorites List
3.6 Pours a hazy yellow with thin but lingering frothy white head. Aroma is floral, pine, slight resin, citrus and sweet malt. Taste is initially sweet then quite strongly bitter, not well balanced but enjoyable enough. Slick mouth feel and lingering finish. Pretty nice
2.8 Pours golden with decent white head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is stone fruit, followed by immediate bitterness which is not well integrated. Long bitter finish with some alcohol.
3.2 Bottle at Meadows. Nose is fruity and malty, toffee. Taste is sweet malts and toffee, bitter fruitiness. Quite bitter finish. Somehow a bit strange and unbalanced.
2.3 Bottle at home... Golden amber... Thin white lacing... Soft sweet toffee fruit.. Light passion nose... Soft sweet toffee.. Bitter herbal passion fruit.. Long bitter linger... Far tooo bitter
3.3 35,5 cl. bottle. Hazy amber colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, fruit, bitterness, citrus and pine.
2.7 One of their better beers but still nothing to write about. Better on tap by far than in bottles. Funky tart hops but the alcohol keeps it together.
3.5 Bottle, 7.5%. Fruity hop aroma, sweet and caramelly. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has a grapefruity bitterness. Distinct, but clean. Good fruity hop flavour to go along.
3.2 Pours a clear gold color with no lacing or head retention. Tastes slightly bitter and hoppy, but is truely nothing spectacular. Eh....
3.2 Pours a nice clear gold colour with nice white lacing and head. Not much aroma, kinda malty with some citrus. Tastes of lemon rind. It’s an ok beer.
3.4 Bottle. Slightly hazy golden, very frothy white head. Not much nose, some hops. Taste feels like fresh hops, some sweet notes, and a piny finish. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.2 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity citrus hoppy aroma with weak hints of caramel. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.
3.3 Eh. Not terrible, but kind of a of bitter taste. I like IPAs and hops don’t scare me, but this seemed was kind of off to me.
3.0 Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Juues üpris kerge, alkohol on väga hästi varjatud, õline suutunne, veidi nurgeliselt greibimõru: justkui olekski olnud üksitine eesmärk teha üks mõru õlu. Maitses domineerib pigem linnaseline toon, millegipärast assotsieerub see mullasusega, umbes nagu sobiks juua lõunapausi ajal, töötades kuskil Ameerika kuuma kesklääne mullaväljadega ümbritsetud farmis - huultele on veerenud higipullid, ninasõõrmed heinatolmu täis. Humala mõru ja paras kogus alkoholi nagu kannustaks päeva teist poolt välja kannatama. Samas... ega ta halb ka pole (soojenedes muutub juba täitsa okeiks).
3.8 Bottle from Oddbins, Blackheath. Golden coloured pour with a fluffy white head. Nice nose of sweet fruit- peach, mangoes etc. Flavours of pear, pineapple- lots of sweet fruit which segues into a pronounced bitterness. Long bitter linger. Nice.
3.4 Draft at The Ram’s Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD This was tasted while on a class reunion. The IPA poured a clear golden color with an off white head. There was a nice head formation and lacing. Light citrus on the nose. The taste had some light resin notes. This is good IPA with a medium body and light carbonation. The finish was clean and dry with hop bitterness. Very drinkable!
2.9 @Voldby ølmesse 2014 - Aroma: Sour fruits, citrus. Flavour: Fruity citrus bitter with notes of caramel. Color: Golden amber with an offwhite head.
4.0 Smells like im in for a citrusy bitter treat, hazy golden body with a creamy white head, a creamy IPA! with some nice lemon flavours refreshing with no hint of its strength.
3.0 Bottled. Pours Clear and golden, with close to no head. Aroma is initially quite harsh, almost "cat-pissy", but evolves slowly into a lot sweeter marmelade-ish note. Taste is citrus and sweet. Light-bodied, with a tint bitterness. Decent, but not great.
3.7 355ml bottle. Appearance - golden orange with a nice head. Nose - resinous with an orange or apricot note behind it. Yes it’s apricots. Taste - orange shred that you get in marmalade. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture that quickly turns into a long and very dry finish. Overall - yep nice and complex
3.7 355ml bottle, cheers Ash! Pours clear golden amber, thin white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, resin. Taste is grapefruit bitter, some caramel at the back, apricot. Tongue-coating bitter finish. Decent.
3.4 Bottled. Unusually yellow/golden pour. Slight haze. bubbles. Strong grapefruit and some pine aroma. taste is grapefruit/resin.
3.3 Botled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma. Sweetness, fruits, caramel, herbs, flowers, light citrus. Flavour. Flowers, herbs, citrus, fruits. Medium bodied. Ends herbal bitter.
3.1 Bottle. Sample at Voldby Ølmesse 2014. Dark golden pour with a generous head. Citrus, resin, pine, malty sweetness and some star fruit.
3.1 Dark golden-orange body, medium to thin white head, sparse lacing. Lively grapefruit and orange followed by equally lively, sweet caramel malts. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, semi-sweet throughout with moderate bitterness in the finish.
3.2 Darught keg at The Three Johns. OK-ish IPA, not much to comment on aroma or taste-wise
