3.1 Birra vellutato con marcato sentore di malto, con note calde di caramello tostato e speziato. Doppio malto dal colore scuro e una delicata nota di luppolo. Vol. 6,5%

3.7 Fles gekregen van Inoven, geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een volle beige schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige, gebrande geur. De smaak van koffie en gebrande mout met een nasmaak van koffie en caramel.

3.2 Bottle. Pours deep red brown. Red fruit, cherry, caramel, sweet caramel, plenty of fruitiness too. Medium body. Good, if a little unrefined.
3.1 Amberkleurig bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is zoet met iets van karamel, koffie en rode bessen. Jammer dat het wat waterig in de mond is anders was de waardering zeker hoger uit gekomen.

3.6 Aspetto e olfattivo non deludono: entra con una sorprendente nota acidula di visciola, poi caffè in polvere, cacao, caramello e malto tostato. Al gusto è piena ma con un limitato apporto di luppolo che la rende un po' stucchevole. Buona, ma manca di frezchezza

2.9 29-Apr-14 (330-ml bottle) This beer is considerably more rich and deeply malty than any other Italian Doppelbock I've tried so far. The malts are sweet and intense with flavors of rich caramel, toasty bread crust, molasses, brown sugar, milk chocolate, and toffee. The toasty, sugary sweet, and caramel candy aspects dominate the nose as well. The beer is full bodied, a little sticky, and gets cloying after awhile. Carbonation is light-medium, which also contributes to the cloying nature because it doesn't provide any lift. It's medium-brown in color, has good clarity, and is capped by half an inch of tan head that settles to a thin ring. Overall, this is a pretty hefty Doppelbock, but it's just too sugary sweet.
3.9 Colore bruno con bei riflessi rossi e schiuma tendente al cremoso. L’aroma fa ben percepire l’amarezza della birra. Al palato è molto dolce con sentori di caramello, forse ci si aspetterebbe qualcosa di più complesso da una doppelbock ma comunque ottimo. Il retrogusto è piacevolmente amaro e fa emergere il contenuto alcolico. Non di facile bevuta. Molto consigliata tra le birre industriali, è decisamente da provare alla spina accompagnata da carni rosse, dolci o da formaggi non troppo forti.

3.3 Gusto e aroma di malto caramellato fanno da padroni, il luppolo decisamente in secondo piano. Dopo qualche istante liquirizia, cioccolato, caffè, tutto sommato una birra molto buona!!!

3.8 Bevuta alla spina in pizzeria. Dal colore rosso scuro ramato, limpida e discreta schiuma non molto persistente. Aroma di orzo e malto caramellato, gusto ben bilanciato dolce-amaro dove torna il malto caramellato e leggermente tostato. Buona e dissetante dalla media gradazione alcolica (6,5%).

3.2 Tap at Raval, Ancona. Pours ruby brown with the a small lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, light roasting, molasses and dark fruit. Heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

2.6 During a few days of vacation in southern Tyrol, I looked for beers made there. Forst brand was the one I liked the most. That yes, a beer without much quality. I expected to find better beer.

4.0 I picked up this bottle at the interspar, adigeo commercial center. It is not the first time that I drink this beer and you tried it again yesterday. I personnaly find this beer delicious, the best one from this brewery. We are on the way of a doppelbock, this one is not so far from the same style of Ganter. For a doppelbock, the taste is not smocked, really malty and bready, aromatic notes of caramel, some sugar but on your throat is really well balanced, a bit watery. The body is clear and brown, thin and white/brown foam, regular carbonation for the style. The limit to consume it until august 2018. They say that you have corn, it could be but hidden by the malt. I drank this beer a second time with my wife the 19.12.17, a bottle that we took at Verona and we enjoyed it at home in Lausanne, pleasant dark and brown body, regular carbonation, white and brown foam, the tasty is really malty, sweet and toffee, this bottle was a bit more dry than the other, but it is just an impression, some hop, not bad.
4.4 Una delle poche industriali che amo veramente. In perfetto stile eccellente, soprattutto alla spina e spillata bene. Fa si che la Forst sia la birreria artigianale più amata dai cultori delle grandi birre. Per il mio gusto meriterebbe un punteggio ben più alto di quello attuale.
