2.4 Made a hasty choice Easter Sunday it was hot and sunny and I was in search of a wheat beer. Drank straight from the bottle. Nose has a tart pom or cranberry scent. Very light in flavor, slightly crisp. Sour aftertaste. Nothing special, OK to pound while sweating in the sun.
3.2 355ml bottle. Pours a slightly opaque dark yellow with a thin, white head. Aroma has mild notes of pomegranate, apple, and citrus. Taste is balanced. Slight apple and pomegranate. Medium body and carbonation. Clean mouth feel with a slightly dry finish. Overall not bad. Could use more pomegranate flavour but still refreshing.
2.8 A pretty ho him beer. It is light and refreshing and good for the beach but not in a can and its Feb.
3.0 Just a o k beer. ...nothing special....easy to drink.....will drink every once in a while just for a change
2.9 Pours a clear amber yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is citrus and spicy. Flavor is clean and crisp and slightly tart. Don't really get much pomegranate. Mild bitterness. Refreshing beer.
2.7 Bottle pours a slightly hazy yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is very fruity, with light notes of wheat. The taste is mostly of wheat, the pomegranate gives a bitter taste. Overall not the best wheat beer.
3.1 Pours a hazy orange yellow with a small white head. Aroma of nut or possibly even peanut butter. Taste is slightly tart up front followed by a distinct nutty flavor that turns slightly bitter but maintains nuttiness through the finish.
2.5 On tap @ Ft. Collins. Golden pour with a white head. Lemon, bleach, grass, and grain husk. Watery. No pomegranate offered. Flavor is grass, lemon, and astringent grain husk. Light fruity sweetness, harsh finish. Meh.
3.0 Pours a pale yellow with a white head. The aroma has a hint of the fruit over the wheat. The flavor has the fruit too, just a bit to add sourness. Very light and refreshing for the summer.
2.8 GABF week 2012. On tap at the brewery. Pours with a crystal clear golden hued body with a white head that fades. Aromas are of honey, straw, floral, citrusy, pomegranate, perfume, wheat. Flavors are of honey, floral pomegranate, lightly tart, bathroom airfreshener. Medium sweet finish with high carbonation.
2.0 This is super fruity and quite wheaty. It’s got a somewhat more of a grapefruit than pomegranate flavor, but overall it’s just dominated by the wheat. The first pomegranate beer I didn’t really like.
3.0 12oz bottle. Floral aroma -- I guess this is the pomegranate? Smooth and clean taste but not distinctive. Disappointing, tangy finish.
3.1 12oz bottle picked up at Total Beverage in CO Pours clear golden with a small creamy white head and some lacing. Aroma of wheat and fruity. Flavors are wheat, fruity with a mild sour/bitterness in the finish A decent beer, I didn’t get and pomegranate though.
2.9 Bottle from BevMo: The liquid was a simple golden blonde color and formed a tiny patch of foam for a head. In the aroma, a soft touch of grained malt and wheat come through and allow for a minor scent of hops but no signs of pomegranate. The flavor is bland with a taste of funky steeped grains and a strange finish of sourness that could be due to the addition of the fruit.
2.8 Wanted to love this, but the fruit flavors are muddled and drinkability isn’t event that great.
2.9 A mediocre fruit beer. The pomegranate mixes with the citrus in the beer but the sweetness is a bit overpowering.
3.3 A perfect beer for after a 12-mile bike ride. Definitely has that sweet-tart thing going for it. The low ABV lets you quench your thirst with the first one, then relax and enjoy the second one.
2.8 Appearance light hazy yellow with a slight white head. Aroma of fruit taste tangy with overtones of pomegranate that lingers on the palate
2.5 From a bottle at the On Tap summer beer tasting. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Feint fruity aroma. Pomegranate comes through in an otherwise ordinary wheat beer.
3.5 Appearance: very clear yellow golden color, nice foamy white head, slightly dense head, head dissolves slightly quick when poured Aroma: fruity, pomegranate, sweet Taste: fruity beer, sweet in the beginning and becomes tart, great summer, refreshing and slightly bitter at the end, the fruit key notes are noticeable Palette: bitter on the to tongue and slightly sweet Overall: this is very enjoyable, fruit infused beers are one of my favorite and this one is very good
2.9 Bottle poured a clear light yellow hue w/ a small white mostly diminishing head and minimal lacing. Big pleasant aromas of plum, apple, pear, bread and grain. Initial flavor is light sweet followed by a moderate bitter of short duration. Tastes are white grapes, lemon, pear, pineapple, and resin. Light body, dry texture, lively carbonation, with an acid feel in the finish.
2.9 12 oz bottle shared. Pours pale, golden and clear with a white head and lacing. The aroma is wheat malts and light fruitiness. Light body, clean and crisp. Flavor is breads, grains and wheat malts. Light fruits and hops and kind of dry. Average at best.
3.5 At first I thought it would taste too fruity. But the taste of the fruit was not overpowerful.
2.6 12 oz. bottle. Clear golden color with small amount of white head with no retention. Slight scent of pomegranate and notes of wheat. Very light pomegranate flavor, some wheat notes. Light bodied, kind of watery, moderate carbonation.
2.3 Too sweet for me. Like a bad wheat beer with pomegranate syrup. Not my style.
3.0 Draught at the restaurant Gravity 1020 next to the brewery on October 9, 2012 Clear honey color, white head. Hoppy taste, some citrus. Fruity aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Citrus scent.
2.0 A clear, light gold beer with a small white head. The aroma is yeast, wheat, a little citrus. The flavor is sweet grain and a fruity finish. Pretty weak all around.
2.7 12 oz bottle from Spirits Rt 166. Poured a lighter shade of copper with a smaller tight foamy brighter white head. Aroma has this weird artificial honey aroma and some grains. Palate is medium with an odd sweetness that is almost cloying. Initial flavor is a big burst of sweetness lots of honey and some agave syrup followed by dry grains. This one is pretty blah.
3.8 Pours light gold and slightly hazy. Very subtle tartness from the pom, very cranberry esque.
3.3 Sampled in a mix pack has a hearty aroma and a sweet aftertaste. The color is light brown with a mild head. The flavor is sweet and malted.
