A striking ruby hue and spicy floral nose punctuate the pleasant sweetness of this brew. Crystal malt coalesces with the earthy flavor of Willamette hops. A hauntingly beautiful combination.

3.412oz. Bottle into a beer mug. A striking ruby hue and spicy floral nose punctuate the pleasant sweetness of this brew. Crystal malt coalesces with the earthy flavor of Willamette hops. A hauntingly beautiful combination. Good, mildly malty sweet, refreshing summer beer.
2.9A smooth and sweet beer. Some reddish malt flavors in the middle. Finishes sweet. Light.
3.4Nice red ale. Good balance of hops and malt. Exceptionally refreshing; good for a hot day.
3.2Really dark red burned sweet beer. Almost like a burned caramel aroma, with sweetness, not cloyingly, but sweet. Not a very nice beer to drink.
4.0From a bottle. Pours a light ruby red, creating a medium-white head. Nice lacing up the glass. Smells of sweet caramel, hops.
3.712 ounce bottle. A truly beautiful beer with small tan head over a clear deep red body. Head leaves the building rapidly. Excellent noble hop aroma for an amber. Love Willamette. Malt aroma is not neglected. Smells almost like a Maris Otter malt. Lots of good caramelly sweetness. Excellent balance in the beer with the sweetness gradually overtaken by the hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and lively. The bitterness lingers into the aftertaste. I want to take another sip to start the whole trip over again. A very nice American amber.
3.312 oz bottle, Kroger Bridge St. Ruby pour, white head, light lacing. Aroma red fruit, floral, spicy, cola, bubble gum. Flavor caramel, spicy; moderately sharp bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation. Well done red amber, modestly above average in just about every way. Solid and pleasant.
2.7Bottle @ Home. BB 30.05.14. Clear dark amber, medium off white head that settles quickly, some lacing. Aroma, malty, old hop notes, caramel. Taste, malty, caramel, a little spicy, some hop. High carbonation. Oily mouth feel. Light bitter aftertaste.
3.4NIce and quite good to drink. Easy fetaures and not so creamy shape but well brewed it was.
3.1Red orange pour. Fruity aroma. Pleasantly surprised with a bit more hops then expected from a red.
3.60.355 bottle. Dark ruby color and a small, off-white head. Aroma is rather unusual with a lot of earthy scents, some cheese, wet wood, and barnyard - not especially pleasant but complex and intriguing. Taste is sweet, follows in aroma’s footsteps with earth and cheese though this time malts are the dominant flavor; again points for complexity. Medium body, creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish presents the same tangs but somehow blended in a better, more complete manner. Overall the beer is pretty good; it is intricate and well-balanced even if not the most strikingly tasteful.
