Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, chocolate, raapberries notes, light to medium sweet, medium bitter. Full body, malty chocolate bitter sweet finish. Very good.
Dark color with beige head. Aroma: honest dark chocolate, raspberries, raspberry jam. Taste: sweety dark chocolate, raspberry, creamy. Tasty, sweet and natural feeling
Can at BAT June 2021. Dark brown color with minimal head. Aroma of dark stout with raspberries, chocolate, nougat. Taste, dark malt, raspberries, chocolate, light nougat. Nice.

Birra molto estrema e spinta ma decisamente da provare. Nera con poca schiuma beige scuro persistente, aromi intensi di lampone e cioccolato che si alternano e si controbilanciano. Corpo molto denso e ottima persistenza aromatica

Aroma: high intensity aromas of raspberries and red berries, hints of cocoa, chocolate, coffee, roasted coffee.
Appearance: very dark brown to black color with brown foam made of small bubbles which almost don't grow over time, medium to high head thickness, very high retention, high Brussels' lacing, too dark to talk about haziness.
Taste: medium sweetness, low bitterness, no sourness. Powerful flavors of raspberries, red berries and less powerful flavors of cocoa, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts. Balance is toward the sweetness but it is balanced enough to avoid making it cloying.
Mouthfeel: medium body, watery to silky texture, low carbonation, long sweet finish with low to medium sweetness and the aforementioned flavors. Alcohol is well hidden and not nocieable in the aroma or flavor and only noticeable because of its mouth and throat warming. Astringency is not noticeable. Acidity from the black malts is low and the light tart from the raspberries help to balance the sweetness.
Overall: good looking, powerful aromas and flavors of raspberries and red berries, with hints of coffee, cocoa, chocolate, roasted coffee, roasted malts. Quite sweet but not cloying. Good mouthfeel, very tasty. Very good and very good use of the raspberries.
Bottle picked up at Saveur-Biere webshop nr Lille and consumed at home Wednesday 12th May 2021 we had a homemade Fish Pie for tea. Listening to Marc Riley on 6Music. Pours black with a light tan head, great lacing. Chocolate and raspberries on the nose. Wow this is a cracker, really nice and tangy from the raspberries, of course the chocolate plays it's part too, super smooth, really indulgent, great, great beer.
Ottima stout, al gusto si sentono molto lampone e cioccolato, come da descrizione. Cremosa.
Thuis uit een flesje, voor de eerste keer bij de aangemaakte houtkachel. Zwart van kleur, stevig lichtbruin schuim. Aroma wat fruitige zuren, verrassend. Smaak ook een licht zuurtje, maar ook vet en vol. Aangenaam bier.
En copa, cerveza negra con una generosa capa de espuma coloe beige. Aroma dulce a chocolate con leche, frambuesas, café, caramelo, y ligera nota licor. En boca, textura espesa y oleosa, sedosa al paladar, de carbonatación muy baja y amargor suave. Sabor muy dulce a frambuesas y chocolate, junto con caramelo, café y licor. Una Stout que más bien es un postre líquido. Tal vez demasiado dulce, aunque la combinación de chocolate y frambuesas es espectacular. Deliciosa.

Again from sterk ams. Nice beer, underlying cherry is a bit strong. Very dessert, Good beer.
Robe noire. Le nez dévoile des notes de framboises qui s'amplifient en bouche. C'est très gourmand, riche et intense malgré un ABV relativement modeste (7,8 %). Peut être un peu écoeurant sur la longueur ce côté décadent mais c'est bien bon.
Doft hallon å kaffe. Smak hallon choklad. Söt. Mellankropp.
355ml bottle at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur as Founders “Big Luscious”. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, big, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, big raspberries. This beer is all about the raspberries whatever the commercial description might say. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, roasty, tart raspberry, light dark chocolate palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Did I mention it was all about the raspberries?
Sort med beige skum. Aroma er sød hindbær, lidt kunstig, list underlæggende mørk malt og chokolade. Smagen er meget sød hindbær, igen noget chokolade, malt og ganske let bitter, god fylde, men alt for sød eftersmag. Ikke helt min smag.
Pours black with a lively tan head. Aroma is sweet raspberries, some smokiness, light coffee. Taste sweet raspberry up front, taking on a lightly tart note towards the middle, gaining in bitterness into the end, which finishes with a lingering bitter sweetness. Some coffee and chocolate notes also throughout. Medium bodied, medium low carbonation. Nice!

Posiblemente la mejor integración de frambuesas que he probado nunca en una birra, aportando estás su sabor característico pero sin la excesiva acidez que suele acompañarla e integrandose muy bien con las notas achocolatadas y cafetosas de la stout base
Color negro con espuma alta marrón de buena retención y residuo. Aroma a frambuesa o sirope de frambuesa, chocolate, maltas quemadas y madera con notas a regaliz, yogur y bizcocho. Sabor a frambuesa, chocolate negro, yogur y maltas quemadas con notas a madera, cereal tostado, ceniza y ligero café. Dulzor alto, alcohol medio, amargor medio-alto y acidez medio-ligera con regusto medio-largo. Textura oleosa, cuerpo denso y carbonatación ligera. Una Stout que sirve como postre. Frambuesa, chocolate y un buen amargor torrefacto al final. Quizá un poco tosca en sabor, pero con una textura cuidada y alcohol camuflado.

Flaske: Superflot sortbrun øl med cremet mokkafarvet skumhoved. Duft af søde hindbær, malt og chokolade. Smagen er ekstrem sød hindbær. For sød. Mangler lidt syre fra kirsebær eller lidt bitterhumle til at bakke op. Der er en del humle som hjælper på det, men sødmener for meget. Ekstrm dessertøl.
Bottle 33 cl, poured into a trappist glass. Pours a very dark opaquish brown with a small tan head and an aroma of ripe cherries, milk chocolate, raspberries, coffee, roasted malts and brown sugar. The taste is heavy sweet with a medium body and a medium long sweet finish.
On tap at P&app Charleston. Black with small beige head. Aroma is chocolate covered raspberry, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is rich chocolate and slightly tart raspberry.

Drink it slow. Best not so cold. I ate with chocolate brownie. Paired well. Very dark pour with thin head. Chocolate, coffee, malt and raspberry.

Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with tart fruity odor mingling with a heavier sweet scent. Raspberry and lactose. Chocolate, brown sugar, toffee. Some bitter coffee. A bit of alcohol lurking just beneath.
Medium strong carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet and a bit dessert-like. Lingering. Finish is sweet and semi-dry.
Actually a quite fresh Pastry Stout due to the tart fruitiness.
Ölen doftar hallon. När vi klunkar kommer hallon , hallon och lite chokkad. Efter en stund känns bitterhet från 279 st hallonkärnor och syra som sitter kvar i gommen😱, nä detta är nog sämsta founders öl jag testat, syrlig bitter avslutning låter det gott? .
Flarra på restaurang Krokius efter en fin ryggbiff. Hallon hallon med lite choklad i doften som också känns lite hav. Smaken massor av hallon så mycket att den nästan artificiell. Sedan kommer chokladen o avslutningsvis en eftersmak som drar åt det syrliga hållet. Nja ingen öl som dricks igen men intressant
Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Cloudy dark brown, small, foamy, dark beige head. Luscious aroma of maraschino cherry, chocolate praliné with raspberry filling, liqueur, raspberry coulis, fudge, marzipan, almond, biscuit, sweet mocha. Taste has sweet cherry, raspberry, vague strawberry in a chocolatey body with fudge & almond aspects. Soft toasty middle. Ends malty with low earthy hops, dark chocolate, raspberry coulis & soft Maraschino alcohol. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Certainly on the sweet side but lovely.
Color tonaca di frate tendente al nero, Versa tre dita di schiuma abbondante e persistente. Aroma intenso di lamponi seguito da note di cioccolato e malto tostato. In bocca intenso sapore di lamponi, seguono note di caffè, cioccolato e malto tostato. Corpo pieno e buon mouthfeel.
Total hallondominans (ovanligt ord) som lyfts fram av choklad. Hade lika gärna kunnat vara en chokladkaka. Känns som en pannkakssmet i munnen och smakar väldigt mycket hallon. En viss bränd bäska och choklad finns också där. Djävulskt bastant på alla sätt.
