This beer 🍺👌😍 wow scent is scotch bourbon like, flavor rich and sweet, vanilla butterscotch all the way to licorice feel is superb only thing that would make this taste better would be a 40 degree day and leaves 🍃falling 😋

Aroma en smaak: aroma van eiken, vanille, karamel, smaak is karamel, rokerig, eiken, vanille, boozy van de Bourbon, vol van smaak.
Clear reddish, frothy to minimal tan head. Strong aromas of dried fruits, wood, licor. Robust bodied, soft carbonation. Thick and oily. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Rich malt and licor flavors into a harsh finish.
Bottle at a tasting. Hazy amber. Bourbon, sherry, vanilla, coconut aromas. Sweet, vanilla, coconut, caramel, treacle, honey, butterscotch. Medium full bodied, oily.
Pours clear dark ruby red, big lasting, lacing foam head. Nice malty aroma, smokey and scotch. Taste smoky scotch and touch of pepper. Very good. (Velp 2106)
On tap at Lambic Tap Room, stated as 11,1%. A dark and thick maroon pour with a long-lasting tan head. Aroma is intense: hibiscus (very pleasant), strawberry, strawberry-tree fruits, coffee. Sweetish and full-bodied, crisp and very bitter. Long-lingering, sweet finish.

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Bottled: 22/10/2018. Hazy dark brown, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of pear syrup, date paste, candied fig, toffee, wet wood, bourbon, marmalade, ripe plum. Taste has very sweet date, plum & raisin soaked in rum, stewed pear somewhere, very thick toffee & molasses maltiness; bit toasty, herbal too for the slightest balance. Woody, heavy caramelly finish, sugar-coated dried fruits and accent of tobacco leaves induced by subtle herbal hops before heating bourbon alcohol tops it all off. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. The ultimate sipper; sweetness prevails but that's the point, of course...
Clear chestnut beer with a thin head. The beer taste is not that strong (Just like the dirty bastard) but the whiskey tastes ar nice and vibrant.Personally I would like the beer to have a touch mor candy sugar.

Znakomite, niezwykle intensywne piwo. W aromacie dużo nut po whiskey, wanilia i beczka, dużo słodyczy od słodu, karmelu. Bardzo intensywnie i przyjemnie. W smaku znów duzo przyjemnego karmelu, sporo beczki, lekka paloność i suszone oraz czerwone owoce w tle. Gęste, intensywne, lekko palony, leciutko alkoholowy i mocno beczkowy finisz. Znakomite piwo.
Miedziane, rubinowe. Klarowne. Spora beżowa piana. Drobna i opadająca. Aromat słodki. Chlebowo tostowy. Likierowy.
Spore wysycenie. Alkoholowo jest. W sposób szlachetny, nie drażniący. Nutki burbonowe. Beczkowych raczej brak. Mocno grzeje. Są klimaty belgijskie, ale i koźlakowe. Mimo wszystko nie sprawia wrażenia ciężkiego.
Grzeje fest :D Polecam, szczególnie po prawdziwych zimowych spacerach.
355 ml bottle. Bought online. Maybe i'm not familiar, but this is very bad looking, low head and dark clear. Smell super strong alcohol, like a liquor, wiskey probably. but.... Tastes great, not at all what expected, sweet and round taste, like almond. Dificult to rate this beer, cause looks and smell are bad, but tastes great, so overall a good experience. Unforgetable for sure.
Kolor rubinowy, klarowne. Piana gruba, biała, szybko znika. W aromacie wyraźnie karmelowe, dalej drewno, trochę przyjemnego destylatu. W smaku podobnie. Na pierwszym planie karmel. Dalej drewno, destylat, przypieczony chleb. W aftertaste whisky. Goryczka niska ziołowa. Alkoholu nie czuć. Polecam.

Sweet caramel, malty, vanilla, boozy nose with hints of brown sugar, spices and coffee. Full bodied flavour, caramel, malt, lots of vanilla, bourbon with a gentle alcoholic warmth ending in an oaky, roasted dry finish. Complex but well balanced!
Bottle at home. Copper pour, beige head. Nose is sweet bready malts, bourbon, vanilla, booze. Taste is almost only booze, unpleasant, burning alcohol, almost no traces of the bourbon ba, or in fact, the base beer. Closes with sweet finish, alcohol burn again. Light to medium body, soft carbo. Expected much, much more from this.
12 oz bottle, dates 9/26/16, poured dark reddish brown with a trace of beige foam. Medium body. Scotch and bourbon with dark fruits aroma. Strong Scotch and raisin notes in the taste, with a smooth alcohol finish.
Pours dark brown with small white top.
Nose is caramel fudge, bourbon and wood.
Taste is the sweetness of caramel mixed with roasted malt that really adds to the earthiness that hits first with a nice after taste of smoked bourbon and plum

Color marrón oscuro, opaca. Espuma beige, muy cremosa, de casi dos dedos de espesor y excelente retención. Aroma intenso, caramelo, licor, maltas casi caramelizadas, barrica, ligera mantequilla, frutas desecadas, destacando los dátiles y algo de especias "oscuras", canela, regaliz al atemperar y notas de anís estrellado. Sabor intenso, caramelo, licor, barrica, maltas tostadas, levemente quemadas, ligero bourbon y frutos secos, final alcohólico, tostado y ligeramente dulce, aún así el alcohol en absoluto molesta, le ofrece carácter y ayuda a armonizar el resto de sensaciones. Textura semioleosa. Carbonatación media baja, con una leve chispa.
Menudo paso por barrica, de maestros.
Respecto al color, no todo puede ser excelente, hay joyas de un color feo.
355ml bottle brewed in Michigan at 11%. Jet-black with a small cream head, fair duration. Honey, toffee, slight woodiness and a hint of smoke and raisin in the aroma. Lowish carbonation. Vanilla, cream, oh-so rich and thick, raisins, black cherries, nougat, milk chocolate...sheer luxurious bliss. Bottle 1.5 years old exactly, and aged in sublime fashion. Dirty Bastard was delicious, but this just ramps it up a notch. Of course, you'll prefer the original if you're a purist, or want something drier and 'beery'er, but this is a sweet treat par excellence, and not overdone, being a standout example of what bourbon-barrel ageing can do for a beer. Whilst not eclipsing the base beer, definite strong bourbon barrel character, so if you don't like that, you won't like this. If you do, however...this is one of the legends in its class.

Pours medium brown and very hazy. The head looks like a nitrous beer. Very creamy and staunch. Aroma of cherries and other dark fruit. Rich and creamy in the mouth. Sweet and bitter mix and it has just enough alcohol coming through to be a great winter warmer.

Similar to dragons milk; a little smoother, less complex but darker. Really enjoy this beer.
