3.3中规中矩,看了描述之后的确尝到了一丝辛辣。
3.3Orangeish body with an ok head. Candied fruit dominates the aroma, with the strong presence of peach and apricot. The body follows a similar trajectory--a rush of candied fruit up fruit, with the a palate able to peel back and discern apricot and peach among others. Sweet, but decent on the whole. The flavor profile seems more in line with a youngish barleywine.
4.4Draft @ Brody's Taphouse The Hague. Poured amber with two finger off white head. Aroma: pineapple, citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, roasted malts, bread, grassy hops. Taste: grapefruit, orange peel, bread with jam, roasted malts, grassy hops, pineapple, citrus, dried apricots, boiled dried fruits, lemon merengue, raisins. Chewy mouthfeel for an IPA, even a double. Medium to full body with a long fruity bittersweet finish. Malty and delicious fruity DIPA. Reminded me somewhat of the Dogfish 90 minute IPA.
3.6A golden DIPA with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, sweet fruity piney biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light citrus, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light resinous piney floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at Cheshire Cat, Carp.
4.1100 ml from tap sampled @ Beergeek Bar, Prague. Unclear golden, creamy head. Herbal spicy hops, pale malt, white bread, a lot of pine and wood, papaya and other tropic fruits. Heavy hoppy bitterness, some malty sweetness. Full bodied, creamy texture, long intense hoppy bitter finish, soft carbonated. Very nice IIPA
3.53.5, very dank and a penetrating long lasting bitterness. Caramel, pine and pungent hops with a strong alcohol finish
3.9From 12oz bottle to snifter. Pour is a nice orange yellow, slightly hazy with a thick white head. Nose is very hoppy, resin, piney. Taste is medium bodied, bitter with sweetness on the back end. Finishes crisp and juicy on the mouth.
3.6Caña en el Taxman León 27..10..2018. (r1641).
3.2smells of wet blanket. resinous. good malt backbone. evident hopiness. looonngg bitter finish. fairly typical of imperial IPAs.
3.5Moderate aromas of pine and malt. Gold and clear with great long lasting head. Taste is well balanced, nice caramel background with notes of pine, resin, and faint citrus
4.1Btl pours a bright golden color with a big fluffy off white head that hangs on for some time leaving webs of lace on glass. Smells of citrus, bread, resin, flowers, honey and tropical fruit. Tastes of sweet caramel, grapefruit, honey, & pie crust. Medium-heavy body, silky smooth mouthfeel, nice carbonation and a soft bitter finish. This is a superbly balanced beer. The alcohol is hidden well. The hops & malt shine equally!
A remarkable double!
3.1Sweet smell of fruity. Taste of fruity and slightly bitter. Very bitter aftertaste that fills the mouth forever. Very bitter to the end. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.6Tap@o’connell’s. Hazy golden color with lacing off-white head. Aroma has citrus, caramel. Taste is malty with long bitter and quite dry aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, malt, pine, needles and alcohol.
3.6Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Amber golden pour with a white head. Sweet malty and fruity with some tangerine and grapefruit, some caramel sweetness, medium body, hoppy bitter finish. Solid old school dipa.
2.8The alcohol just takes over and dominates the taste of this beer. It does not allow the rest of the beer to come through. Too bad! Sorry it does not taste good. Too much alcohol. The fruit flavors are crushed and suppressed. Some people like that not me.
3.6Tap @ craft beer Helsinki, Ullanlinna.
Poured clear golden color with a thin white head.
Malty, almondy, very hoppy aroma.
Flavor has malts, sweet fruits, hops, resin. Heavy stuff. Tasty.
3.7Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Very good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with caramel.
5.0Extremely amazing hop balance. Both smooth and perfect color. A complete homerun.
3.9August 10, 2018. April 1st 2020.
Clear gold, coarse lacing, tall and lasting head.
Savory nose.
Medium body, smooth texture, discrete heat for the abv, nice carbonation, moderately flavored, lingering but not very charming finish.
Aggressive bitterness to the point of almost hiding entirely the sweet background, right acidity.
Hoppy, greens, some peach, honey.
Great IPA, rediscovered by me two years later.
4.2Pours a light copper with a frothy ivory colored head, nose is sweet, clean florals, cracker and wet grain. Creamy feel, a hint of booze mid way, finish is big and lingering. Stone fruit galore, resin, big cereal, citrus zest. Lots going on and a well built version of the style.
3.5Good beer, really pleasant fresh hop nose, floral, citrus, a little resin and tropical fruit. Flavor similar, with a clean bready malt. Still, it suffers from the one thing I don't like about double IPAs, especially the bigger ones like this - the clash of a heavy semi-sweet malt body with aggressive hopping.
3.6Draught at Toronado. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with grapefruit, hops, resin, a bit of fruits and pine. Bitter finish with grapefruit, hops, pine, a bit of fruits and pine. Good imperial IPA.
3.9Tap, Founders Brewery, Detroit, MI. Medium gold, slight haze. Dank aroma. Subdued flavour for the ABV.
3.7Draft that poured a clear gold with a white head and lacing. The aroma is hoppy floral and pine. The taste is strong and it is a bit warming. Not a ale to take lightly, but very good as a sipping ale.
4.0Draft at Fire Works in Arlington, VA. Copper amber color with lacing head. Piney, floral aroma. Strong malty backbone with a hoppy, mildly bitter finish.
4.2On tap at Hop Cat. Solid beer. Strong pine flavor but not over the top like a rye. Floral scent. Kinda dry... not sticky sweet. Good beer.
3.6Poured from bottle 5/17/18 clear coppper with a white head. Aroma is floral hops light malt. Taste is sweet caramel loads of bitterness in the finish but somehow it works.
4.0Time to check it out with Founders again on an Imperial IPA called Double Trouble. I got a four pack at The Cellar in Odessa, Texas a couple of weeks ago. Opening a 12 oz bottle and tilting into my favorite ipa glass, a tulip from Buffalo Bayou, it delivers a dark yellow body topped by a snow white foam that quickly settles. I raise for a smell, pleasant for sure. Decently piney, pineapple, alfalfa. A drink follows. A bit more involved than the scent, there is citrus, mostly lemon, resin, biscuit. Strongly bitter. Quite good overall but not unique. 7/11/18
