This liquid dream pours a hazy golden orange straw color with a large puffy white two-finger head. First sip of this beer rewards with a super juicy hop presence bursting with fresh orange and lemon citrus then continues to introduce toasted malt undertones.

3.7clean crisp bitter beer, clear golden with anice even though it did not last. on tap at wexford pub
4.4This is well balanced. Best wet hopped beer I have tasted. Another great Founders specialty...
4.312oz bottle bought at Total Wine & More (Miami). Hoppy, juicy, with strong hints to grapefruit, melon and pine needles.
4.1Yeah, that's pretty tasty. The juicy hops blend well into a nice citrusy zest. I enjoyed it.
3.4A bring-home 12 oz bottle obtained at Total Wine on a March Madness trip to Las Vegas last week. Generally Founders does me right so I bought without a second thought. Crack the bottle open and tilt into my ABGB tulip glass, Here comes an opaque, darkish orange body topped by a slender, almost pure white head. The scent, some light fruit, wheat, kinda sweet smelling, where is this going? The taste will say. Totally different than the nose I estimate. A distinct hop presence, pine, grain, bit-o-honey. Ending with a fair bitterness but far from a bomb. Not bad, not great. It just is.
2.9Over-hyped? Wonderful hop nose up front, first sip is pleasing fresh hops, but halfway thru glass the hops evaporates and I'm left tasting high alcohol beer without much excitement to it. 70 IBU? I do not taste that kind of bitterness. Disappointing... Much better beers out there.
4.0Btl pours a clear golden orange color with a big fluffy white head that lingers leaving lots of lace on glass. Smells of honey, citrus, pine, tropical fruits and malt.Tastes of tangerines, grapefruit, honey and sweet caramel. Medium body, silky, creamy mouthfeel, perfect carbonation and a soft bitter finish. This beer has a fresh hop flavor that is not bitter. The malt backbone is not to sweet. Nice creamy texture with no hop harshness. Fantastic easy drinking beer.
3.9From bottle. Pours a clear orange with a creamy white head that sticks to the glass. Big citrus and tropical fruits aroma. Taste is also fruity, malty but no caramel, a bit boozy. Sweet but with a strong bitterness. Medium full mouthfeel with healthy carbonation.
3.2Lots of citrus, not too much bitterness, a bit creamy - but overall not much of a stand-out IPA in my opinion
3.6Pours light golden with lots or large bubbles floating toward the top of the glass. Head is small but maintains nicely. Aroma of citrus, honey and hops. It smells good. This beer gives a good pucker at the back sides of the tongue. Smooth in the mouth but lots of carbonation. Slightly bitter, but overall the flavor doesn't live up to the aroma.
3.4really it's just pure butter with a just a hint of hop bitterness, but strangely relaxin, w very well-hidden alco
4.0Pours from bottle a clear light orange with thin white film. Nose is tropical fruit. Taste is some grapefruit and citrus, with some bitter hops on finish. It’s nothing complex, but the simplicity of this is great - it all comes together and is enjoyable from start to finish.
3.912 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is piney, grapefruit peel, floral, tropical fruit. Pours slightly hazy orange with a one finger off white head with good retention. Taste is mid level bitter and candy sweet with flavors of tropical fruit, pine. Aroma is better than flavor, but this is still pretty good.
3.6Copper color with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma of earthy, pine, and resinous hops. A little more hop bitterness on the palate with more of an earthy hop character, maybe a little citrus in there. Lingering bitterness on the finish with a hint of malt sweetness.
3.6Pours a dark golden. Aromas of dank hops, resin. Quite bitter and resinous for a fresh hop ale. Good beer.. But was hoping for more with the high rating
3.8Gave this a 4.3 nine years ago. Times change, palates change, IPAs evolve...Not that Founders Harvest is bad, and I'm sure it did absolutely blow me away when I first tried it in 2008. Now, though, it's a pretty straightforward pre-Craft Boom IPA, citric and bitter but not nearly as aromatic and aggressive as the hop bombs of today, more piney and herbal than fruit forward. (I'm assuming the beer's stayed the same post-San Miguel buyout, but, judging by the erratic quality of the brewery's current offerings, it's entirely possible 2008 Harvest was a different beast altogether.) I enjoy the old-school bitterness, the huge pine-resin back end that lingers forever on the palate, but that's the main thing Harvest brings to the table. Otherwise, it's a well-made, somewhat dull IPA.
4.7Love the juicy floral hop flavors with hints of pine.
4.0From a bottle. Pours orange with white head. Aroma of juicy citrus and toasted malts.
3.82018 update - BOD: 09.20.2018. 7, 4, 7, 4,15.
12floz bottle, BOD: 09.19.2017, $12 paid for a four-pack, nonic glass. Appears a golden color, with clarity, and bubbles rushing up to support a tight white head that laces the sides. Aroma is big on orange, and to a lesser extent general herbs. The palate is medium-full in body and moderately-high in apparent bitterness.Pretty good, but taste plays it straight pine-citrus and little else. 7, 5, 6, 4, 13.
4.412 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Body is full and crisp. Citrusy hops dominate the flavor with bready malt and tropical fruit provide good balance. Finish is long and hoppy. Excellent brew.
3.6An okay IPA. Quite a bit of citrus, orange hoppiness. Pours gold and has a potent aroma.
3.2Appearance: clear pale gold with one finger of creamy off-white head, good retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: citrus, biscuity malt, tropical fruit, mild resin, slight vegetal. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium body tending slightly thin, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (3/5)
A bit on the old side, but I’m not convinced that’s the issue here - it’s coming across as a bit thin, and a bit sharp. Not one of my favourite offerings by this brewer, and certainly not as good as e.g. their Centennial. (13/20)

3.7Bottle from Maekchu. Thanks a lot. Nose is grapefuit, biscuit malt, crackers, lemon, and a bit of pineapple. Cloudy golden orange with a low, rocky head. Sweet, malty, esters, citrus. Lots of orange. Good balance. Crisp.
3.4Yellow-orange pour. Looks thin with just a few bubbles. Nice sweet tropical fruit hop nose. Bit oxidised, with beeswax and honey notes. Taste is bitter, clean slightly resinous. Linger is dry and greenish bitter.
3.4Medium full body. Slightly sweet hops have dropped lots of honeydew and grapefruit. Not bad but not special.
4.2light amber-straw color; very nice citrusy, floral hop aroma; great, juicy hop flavor; great citrusy, fruity hop notes on a medium bodied, toasted malt base
3.5Lightly hazed golden with a white head. Clean light malt aroma. Light bodied with a floral to earthy hop character.
Notes: Bottle pour Feb ’17
3.8Bottle at home (bottled on 10/03/16). Pours light hazy golden amber with a white head. Aroma of piny resiny floral hops, citrus and sweet malts. Taste is over moderate bitter, light sweet, long resiny bitter aftertaste. Nice. Would love to try this fresh.
4.1From a bottle. Pours a dark gold and makes a frothy white head. Aroma is of fresh resins piney hops and a strong citrus character. Tastes of fresh, fresh, cut hops. The wet hopping really works on this ale.
3.712oz bottle - clear pale yellow appearance with a med to thick frothy white head. Hoppy aroma is mostly citrus and a hint of tropical notes with a light malt undertone. Tasty and clean flavor of citrus peel, bitter herbal, papaya and light bready malt.
