Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.
Bottled - winter seasonal. On tap - year-round.
Note: Formerly Red’s Rye P.A. [The brewery says it’s first and foremost an American IPA.]

3.7Sample at Whole Foods, Auburn Hills. Pours slightly burnt red, white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, malt heavy, rye, lots of caramel, orange, toffee. Flavor is caramel, orange, rye, malt. Nice hoppy red ale.
3.8Pretty hoppy with spruce and pine aromas. Sweet caramel and bread malts.
Color is a dark reddish brown, with a small off white head.
Taste is fairly bitter but is quickly followed by a nice balancing sweetness. The typical rye wild/rustic flavor is clear but not over whelming.
Medium tons bit full bodied; a long finish, with a very nice combination of bitterness, sweetness, wild rye and yet a touch of dry crispness also. Good mouth feel.
Overall a quite good beer with pretty good complexity- a fair amount going on here.

Aroma: Loads of different hop smells. Citrus. Pine.
Appearance: Nice clear red with fluffy white that sticks around. Picture worthy.
Taste: It's an IPA. Spicy floral and citrusy notes. It's the rye that makes this unique. Some caramel.
Palate: Medium thin body. Medium carb.
Overall: Unique IPA by the brewery who does them best.

4.1Âmbar com média formação de espuma. Notas frutadas com lúpulos florais e herbáceos, e uma pegada de malte para equilibrar o conjunto. Corpo médio, com final longo, adstringente e presente amargor no retrogosto
4.0Bottle in pint glass from The Drinkery, Londonderry NH. Aroma is yeasty dough, caramel, bread, with sweet floral notes. Appearance is hazy dark red-brown with nice sparkle and finger-width off-white head with fair retention and nice lacing. Taste is medium sweet with some fruit and light sour. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average to lively carbonation and dry, slightly spicy bitter finish. Overall, this beer was more yeasty and less hoppy than one would expect. It was also quite old so I don’t think this is the most representative rating. I’ll have to re-rate in the future.
3.0Malty and savory , with a hint of sweetness, dry hop flavors help balance with mostly resinous pine notes
