3.6 God og velsmagende Irish Ale. Dejlig bitter øl med god fylde. God aroma. Særdeles flot udseende
3.2 On tap at O'Niells, Leicester on 19-Oct-2019. Clear amber colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of caramel, malt and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of sweet malt, caramel, grapefruit and floral hops. Medium bitterness, but a little too sweet. Good ale - although difficult to have more of one of these in a sitting.
3.4 Big head on pour, slightly dry finish, not really getting the grapefruit claimed. Decent IPA.
3.5 On tap at Kelly’s Bar & Restaurant in Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland. Clear, dark, rusty orange with an off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of brown bread, citrus, butterscotch, brown sugar and caramel, with an herbal bitterness that comes through at the end of the sniff. Taste of caramel, butterscotch, citrus, brown bread, uherbal hops and brown sugar. Medium body and medium/low carbonation. Better than I expected, but very malty for an IPA. If you are not expecting a classic IPA (and it is labeled as an “Irish Pale Ale”), it’s quite pleasant.
5.0 Absolutely the best beer I've tasted for many a year.
3.8 On tap in Cork, Ireland. Clear copper with a thin off-white head. Malty aroma. Taste is a hefty malty immersion, along with some roast, caramel and a very gentle bitterness. Good.
3.4 Tap. Pours clear amber. Floral, citrus, malty aroma. Medium body. Balanced.
3.6 On tap. Pours a clear amber with a thick white head. Aroma of pale malt, grassy hops, earthy malt, citrus. Flavor of pale malt, earthy malt, floral hops, citrus, grassy hops. Mildly hoppy, fruity/floral, nice. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)
3.1 Pours sort of amber. Quite high carbonation. Taste is grapefruit, lemon and aftertase has a noticeable burnt sugar taste and caramel. Slightly malty mid-palate. Much better than I expected, but this is by the numbers IPA.
3.3 On tap at Crown Liquor Saloon (Belfast, Northern Ireland). Amber body with an average, lasting, off-white frothy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar and woody hints. Its good malty/hoppy taste carries woody, grainy, and brown sugar notes. Ends with a good bittersweet finish.
3.1 Draft at the Blind Piper Pub Served in a mug an amber color with a decent sized bubbly off white head that slowly recedes. Caramel bready butterscotch maltiness with bits of earthy hops and light astringency to counter.
3.4 tap @ Franciscan Well . Amberkleurig. Ruikt citrusfruitig, beetje moutig. Smaakt idem. Bitterzoet
2.6 Carmel and sweet but average
1.9 From tap at the VQ Open 23 Hours Restaurant near Tottenham Court Road. Translucent nut colour. Sweet aroma and taste of syrup, sweet malt, butterscotch and caramel. Underwhelming bitterness. Perhaps a hint of pineapple.
2.6 Can. Amber coloured beer with a strong but soon disappearing head. The aroma is lightly hopped with yeastiness, and the flavour is mildly bitter with hops and yeastiness. Overall a very average pale ale.
3.1 (On tap) Clear amber with small white head. There’s a problem net citrus aroma with something unusual, maybe red berries in the background. Medium body with medium fine carbonation. Taste is fruity throughout - pine, citrus, maybe grenadine notes. There’s the barest biscuity malt and some modest hoppy bitterness in the finish. Unusual IPA, and very drinkable.
3.3 330ml can. Amber colour with off-white head. Citrus hops, yellow grapefruit juice, watery tangerine, light lemon, bready malt, light pine resin, light caramel, light stone fruit, light watery, bit sweeter than expected, weird light green apple. Solid
2.5 Not IPA as I know it
3.0 Bitter citrus caramel taste...very bitter. Despite this an ok ipa
3.2 29.03.2019. On tap at at The Worlds End, Camden Town, London. Golden brown colour with white head. Malty with notes of sweet caramel. Soft hops with light grassy and dloral notes. Soft and smooth pale ale.
3.3 Had pint of this last night and my mate followed suit and really enjoyed may have found a new go to for him. Caramel pour nose and taste. Slight chewy and malty. Faint bitters.
3.4 From draught to glass. Malty with nice well rounded floral hops. Garnet and clear with off-white head. Flavors follows aroma.
3.3 Surprisingly good ale. Beautiful looking and full of malty flavour which provides a pleasant warmth.
2.6 Caramel bomb. Not much hops or sense of pale ale here. Pours orange with ok head. Sweet and syrupy texture. Can.
3.0 Amertume et arome peu marqué pour une IPA. Malt aux notes caramel, mousse crémeuse agréable.
3.2 Subtle flavours and aroma. Gentle malt and sweet berries. A well balanced decent beer.
3.4 Can from Morrison's. Beckoning peach, red jelly and grenadine aroma. Good heady lychee and peach hop from the off with honeyed grapefruit and mandarin notes. Soggy digestive and cashew malt. Cherry red with a lowering off white foam. Boiled red sweets. But also a good stew of chlorophyll freshness. Very good.
2.9 On tap at the Crown Liquor Saloon. Cloudy orange, white head. Malty, some caramel, vague fruit, sweetish, some light bitterness. Bit thin and bland.
3.2 7 3 6 3 13 On tap at a random Bournemouth bar. Clear copper with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus and caramel malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
