3.5 Cor dourada com espuma de boa formação e persistência, com pequenas bolhas. Aroma floral, e traços cítricos. Sabor floral, adstringente, com amargos médio que persiste no final. Refrescante e fácil de beber. Muito boa gose.
3.1 Great gose really good beer easy to drink refreshinv would recommend and would buy again
2.5 I’m new at rating beer, so here it goes. Was not over powering. Had a bitter taste which I believe was just right. For a Beer brewed in Germany I thought it would have a over powering skunk taste but it did not. I would purchase again.
3.4 50 cl. bottle @ Home. Aroma: not very intense aroma. Hints of grains, champagne, floral overtones, citrus, spices, quince. Some very light malt nuances. Appearance: straw to light golden color with perfectly white creamy foam made of mid-sized bubbles with high head thickness. High retention. Low Brussels’ lacing. No hazyness. Taste: low to medium sweetness, low bitterness, low to medium sourness. Flavors of berries, fruits, acidic, citrusy and salty notes, lemon and lime, hints of grains and wheat. Palate: medium body, watery to oily texture, medium carbonation, long sweet and sour finish of fruits, citrus, berries, acidic notes of lemon and lime. Overall: very good appearance, very subtle aromas of grains, champagne, floral overtones. Very good sweet and tart flavors of fruits, citrus, berries, hints of quince. Very refreshing. It’s not a flavor one is used to taste, but it is very pleasant, thirst quenching and drinkable. Very complex and very good and different beer.
3.6 Aroma - a lot of perfume, predominantly flowers, aromatic herbs, malt, peach from stewed fruit. Taste - sourish, with some vine shoots, soured and young white wine, some juice of pickled cabbage slightly salted, a bit flavored with some wild herbs, yeasts.
3.5 BOTTLE 50 CL. Cloudy golden, off-white head. The aroma has vague pils malt sweetness with quince perfume and cidery tartness. The taste is a sweet and tart, cidery but in a juicy way, a blend of lactic and fruity acidity, garnished with vague apple/quince fruitiness. No obvious salt. Very good.
3.8 Tap at Maxs. Pretty cool beer. Very mellow. The quince works well with the style. The gose aspect is mellow, but a yeast bomb..more true to style I suppose. There is some cheesy action that comes out more as you sip at it, mild lemon lime tones. The quince really adds great depth. Perfect match.
3.7 Coriander, wheat, very light grainy, a bit mineral, salt noticeable, makes it fatter, still fresh. Solid.
3.6 Slightly hazy deep golden with a thin foamy white head. Earthy and slightly lemony german blonde malt nose. Crisp lemon zesty and slightly briney flavor with a mellow Germanic blonde tone and a lightly zesty nuance throughout. Mild tartness.
4.4 Cerveja com uma paladar diferente mas que vale a pena experimentar. Não tenho uma paladar tão refinado, mas tem um sabor entre amargo e azedo agradável
3.6 18-12-16 // 500ml bottle shared at home. Pours a light hazy yellowish beer, with a solid frothy head. Taste is light yeasty, minimal salty, light fruitsweetness from the quince. Well balanced. Well carbonated.
3.5 Small frothy white head. Fair lacing.Mostly diminishing. Translucent dark-yellow body. Aroma: light hoppy, grapefruit, moderate yeasty, ginger. Initial and final flavor: light sweet moderate acidic; long duration. Palate: light medium body, dry/watery texture, lively carbonation, moderate astringent finish. elegante, equilibrada, lembra um pouco sour/wild ale, bastante presença de frutas vermelhas no paladar, muito mais saborosa que a média do estilo, alta drinkability, acidez de ameixa fresca, malte no background, refinada, 80 s 12.19.16Large frothy white head. Cloudy dark yellow sparkling average-density body. Huge particles. Good lacing. Mostly diminishing. Aroma: lemon and orange character, moderate pome character, light sourness, light coriander in the glass and moderate in the bottle. Doughy. Initial flavor: moderate acidic (lemony). Final flavor: moderate acidic, light salty and very light bitter; average duration. Palate: light medium body, dry texture, lively carbonation, moderate astringent finish. Baixa drinkability. Leve presença de malte lembrando pão no background. Moderate fruity character of pome fruit. Sea salt character: tingly. Very well done. Great for beginners at the style. Well attenuated finish by sourness. 60s
3.8 In a night full of strange Goses, Quince Gose managed to stand out. I don’t have any experience with quince at all, but its influence in this beer seemed to come in the form of a berry-like sweetness. It almost reminded me of a fruit-infused tea more than a beer, but it was very pleasant. Body is yellow and very lively. Finish is bone dry with some lingering starchiness. This would be an excellent summertime treat.
1.8 Bottle. A- Rhubarb, nutmeg, spices, slightly tart, lemon cleaner. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Tart, spices, artificial fruit. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, astringent finish. O- A bit odd. Tasted like a German Leinenkugel’s. A slightly off taste from the quince I guess? Almost like a rhubarb. Meh.
3.1 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with little white head. The aroma is very herbal (thyme, fir needles), salty. Medium body with a light carbonation. The taste is salty with a light to medium sourness. Flavor of fir needles, fruity. The quince could be a little bit more intense.
3.5 Hazy golden with strong white head. Aroma: grains, coriander, some lactic notes. Taste: moderate sour with light saltiness, astringent. Flavour: fresh apples (is this from quince?), fresh ground coriander, grain. Good.
3.0 This one just did nothing for me. Quince is prominant, with a bit of the expected saltiness. Obviously not a fan of quince!
3.3 Tap at beer geek, praha. Light golden color, white head. Aroma has fruits, peach, pineapple notes. Light body, fruits, peach. Little bit watery but ok.
3.9 Visual: Pours deep golden yellow with a large dissipating frothy head, 2mm layer of fine foamy retention, loose clusters of fast active streams. Nose: apricot-peachy wheat malt, acidic sourness, background farty barnyard(lvl-4)-pungency Attack: crisp-tart-sour Mid-palate: tingly-fizzy full CO2 mouthfeel, (lvl-4-sweetness), lemon curd, milky wheat malt, grainy barley malt, controlled sourness, a touch of saltiness Finish: lemony quince/pear exhale, super subtle low bitter hops Summary: It’s a sour citrusy wheat ale yes, but they did something special; They expertly controlled the sourness and funk and boosted the flavour with quince to give it a clean and balanced fruity-sour-tart-fizzy drinking experience.
4.6 Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Smells lightly tart and fruity. Taste is fruity, tart, and very subtly sweet. Light-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Freigeist Geisterzug Quince Gose finishes with a lingering tartness.
4.1 4/VII/16 - 50cl bottle @ Adam Jackson Tasting Without Adam Jackson - BB: n/a (2016-716) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the bottle! Little hazy orange beer, big irregular off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: weird, funky, overripe fruits, some banana, yeast, something sourish, might be the quince. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, lychee, bit sweet, strawberry candy, I guess it’s the quince I have trouble with describing, even though I make my own quince jelly. Aftertaste: still very fruity, sourish, bit funky, saline touch, very nice stuff!
3.6 Tap at BeerNV. Golden beer. Aroma is quite fragrant of flowers, perfule, berries. Hints of tartness and salt in the flavor. Interesting brew.
3.4 Bottle at home. Hazy golden with orange hue, white head. Strange flowery parfumed flavor, pear skin, herbal tea. Complex mix of sweetness, bitterness, sour and saltiness. Thin body, soft carbo. Minerallike texture. The more I taste it the more it tastes like piss and the more I like it 😂
3.6 Aroma: quince, salty and sour. Appearance: hazy golden color and white head. Taste: no bitterness, quince, salty, slightly sour, balanced and dry. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, fruity finish. Overall: Really good gose, these quince notes are great.
3.4 50cl bottle courtesy of and shared with 77ships. no BB.
3.4 500 ml. bottle sampled @ “Wish you were Adam Chandler” tasting. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is very mineral, low fruit, peach-like, faint effervescent tables, aspirin & low vomit / stomach acid. Taste is weir mineral milky fermenting, lightly mineral, rotting milky, fizzy, murky low stomach acid, low fruit. Milky body. A bit too raw rotting milky & stomach acid profile for me, still partially works. Expected a bit more fruit here to be honest. No real sourness, funky notes & extremely lactic etc.
3.4 Trübes gelb schaum ok, Geruch leichte frucht, Geschmack leichte Quitten süße im Abgang Salz, irgendwie nicht ganz stimmig und doch sehr interessant
3.4 0,5l Flasche. Gelb und trübe Farbe, flacher Schaum. Fruchtig säuerlich in der Nase. Quitte im Antrunk. Säure und Salz. Unrund, kantig aber lecker.
3.8 appearance: cloudy gold, short fizzy white head quickly fading juicy, full of lemon, pear, cracker, light funk and salt. aroma: sweet and slightly sour, a bit of sea water, light fruity notes full of lemon, pear, some pineapple. finish: a bit of saltine cracker and light funk, with some lasting fruit. notes: Never had quince by itself, so maybe that’s where the lemony-pear flavor came in. Really nice and refreshing. Vertical with Zoltan, including the rhubarb and spruce versions. Knightly Spirits, Disney 2016.
