2.7 33 cl as Fürstenberg Black Forest Pils. Light golden color, white foam. Aroma: light (Pilsen) malt, slightly floral-grassy hop with herbs. Taste: lively carbonation, sweet light malt, noticeable hop bitterness with forest herbs, easy and drinkable.
2.0 500ml bottle at home, Stuttgart. Aroma is gras, light muffy. Appearance is clear yellow with a white foam. Rate is medium bitter. Dry. Drinkable.
3.0 Clear light golden colour, moderate white frothy head. Weak lacing. Aroma: grains, crackers, light oxydized malts. Light to medium body. Average carbonation. Taste: clean, malty start, sourish mid leading to a grassy, light plus ending bitterness. Fairly drinkable.
2.8 500ml can. Clear pale gold with a thin foamy white head. Flavors are bread and grass with grainy and fruity notes. Light to medium body, good carbonation, smooth texture.
3.6 Está buena. Aroma dulce y fresco. Cristalina dorada. Predomina el lupulo pero es ligeramente dulce. Espuma semi permanente.
2.6 Tap @ hotel restaurant, Lenggries. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light hay and light hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 120719
5.0 Für mich eines der besten Pilsener unserer Gegend.
3.2 Pour from a 11.2 oz bottle. Crystal clear golden brew with one finger of white head that holds up for a long time. Aroma of moderate malt and light grass. Taste is moderate bready malt up front, some grass and floral hops emerging towards the end, a surge in bitterness at the very end. Enjoyable and tasty, but a bit sweet with a simple hop profile.
4.1 Solid pilsner. Smooth and refreshing. Actually had Black Forest Pils.
2.3 “Fürstenberg Pilsener“, Fläschchen aus der Hotel-Minibar. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase blasses, strohiges helles Malz und die ranzige Herbe von Hopfenextrakt. - Antrunk schlank strohig-hellmalzig mit etwas chemischer Zitrusfrucht und kräftiger, derb-ranziger Herbe. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang unangenehm schroffe Bittere. - Derb extraktgehopftes Industriepils, keine Freude.
3.8 Pale gold body with white head.. Light floral aroma. Malty with hop mix taste and finish, 'N goeie Duitse pilsner.
2.8 Pours clear light yellow with aroma of grain, lemon, and skunk. Grain flavor with some lemon and hops. Okay.
5.0 Das beste Bier der Welt! 😍 Sehr hopfig herber Geschmack.
3.4 Draft at Cafe Romantic in Heidelberg, Germany. One of the better pils in Germany. More hop bitterness than most. The aroma of caramel malts greets you. The draft poured a clear light gold color with a white foamy head and lacing. The pils has a medium body with average carbonation. The pils finishes dry with some lingering hop bitterness.
2.7 Draft at the Schwarzer Kater, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Clear golden color with a big foamy bubbly white head. Malty beer with mild hoppy bite. Easy and okay.
4.1 330 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 12/2018. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toast biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big cracker, white bread dough, lightly toast biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toast biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly creamy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an outstanding German pilsner! All around awesome robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and nicely rich Pils malt showcase, with nice noble hop presence/balance. A highly enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.
4.0 Posto elefantinho
2.5 Draught at Bronwyn, 8/15/18. Clear, bright, brass-golden with a small, reasonably well-retained, white head atop. Cracker, wax, very gentle DMS and old, peppery hops (vague) give a pretty unremarkable, uninspired nose. No alcohol yet not all that clean or crisp. In the mouth it's wet, somewhat fizzy, having more malt texture than any actual malt flavor. Wax is strong, with light honey-and-DMS being a bit hard to separate (not your classic bean or veggie DMS character). Strong, bland cracker and vague, earthy hop notes on the finish. Fully forgettable, uninspired stuff, though not really offensive or anything.
2.7 Clear gold beer with a thin fluffy bright white head. Nose of white pepper, lemon, and musky herbs. Flavor is typical generic pilsener with wet cardboard, cracker, and light citrus followed by some fairly insipid noble hop bitterness. Nothing special here. Move along.
3.2 Tap in Freiburg. Peppery hop nose, lemon, crisp malts but plain. Pale gold with an airy head. Ok hop flavor, rather dull but the finish is a bit snappy. Crisp. Bitter finish. Drinkable.
2.9 0,3 l on tap @ Zur Brückenwirtin, Oldenburg. Clear dark golden in the glass, one finger head. Grainy smell. Taste is mid grainy, sipcy, mid bitterness. Decent standard German industrial stuff.
2.4 on terrace of hotel in germany on the way back from holiday in norway from tap gold blond colored body with a small white head and with a herby yeast malt aroma a herby yeast malt hop dry bitter taste with a spicy bitter finish
2.0 Can. Tastes like water left on the sun in a carton container for too long. No hops at all.
3.7 Hay nose. Clear golden, medium head. Honey, hay, malty. Medium body, easy carbonation. Thoroughly enjoyable, very beery, low hop presence.
3.1 Draft. It pours a pale yellow color with a nice white head. It has light grain with floral and herbal notes. The taste is light and clean with a very light bitterness.
3.3 Clear bright pale golden under a tight white foamy head. Light aroma that’s lightly bready and lagerlike. Smooth super light flavor that still has a firm lagery yeasty body with a crisp dry finish. Almost flavorless save for the light crackery grassy bite.
