3.6 An interesting middle ground between the other two offerings in this series - the 1st recipe was very malt forward, and the 3rd was more dry, with a much larger hop profile - this one lies somewhere in between - it is fairly malty, with flavors of honey and toasted grains, especially up front - however, this makes way for a much more crisp, grassy hop character, especially in the finish - quite nice - I really enjoy these Full Sail lagers.
3.4 Bottle. Orange-amber pour with a short white head. Aroma is sweet malts, grassy hops, honey, grains, and dried fruit. Taste is sweet malt, toasted malt, grains, light cereal, grassy hops, and honey. Mild fruit notes as well. Body is medium and has a strong bubbly character to it. Ends with more sweet malt, lesser toasted notes, soft grassy hops, cereal, wet grains and soft honey. Decent session style lager but nothing extraordinary.
3.2 Nice looking amber pour with a thin white head and lots of carbonation. Grainy aroma with a mildly sweet taste and a hoppy finish. Went down nice and easy. Nice lager.
3.1 12 oz bottle. Orange amber in the pint glass with a pinky white head. Nose is sweet. Citrus, apple, yeast. Taste is same. Big sweet with typical dry lager finish. Not great, but noy bad.
3.3 Good amber lager with a nice mix of malt and spicy hops. The beer pours a light orange-amber color, a shade lighter than other Amber Lagers that I’ve come across. The head is white and dissipates fairly rapidly with a moderate amount of lacing. There’s a pretty good malt presence, although it isn’t terribly interesting, light caramel and a bit of biscuit. The hops are mildly spicy and also not incredible. However, the balance is good, and the aftertaste is also quite pleasant. There is some alcohol presence; it’s stronger than your average lager. At any rate, it’s a good beer, and hopefully, other American breweries will take note and release more different lagers.

2.6 Not a bad beer IMO. Clean and crisp taste with malt and hops. Wasn’t great, but enjoyable.
3.1 An interesting experimentation from Full Sail. Its certainly unique but I dont really care for it too much. It pours nicely and has a fair aroma but the flavor is a bit more bitter than I expected and the mouthfeel lingers in a bad way
3.7 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. The color was a very clear orange. There was almost no head whatsoever, just a few bubbles. The smell was earthy. The taste was malty and had an interesting aftertaste. The mouth-feel was just right, not too thin. Decent beer but I just can’t appreciate lagers the way I appreciate ales. 2.9 A: Golden yellow in color with a billowing head upon the pour. The head fades to just less than one finger in pilsner glass as several strings of tiny bubbles steadily race to the top. S: A nice malty smelling beer with hints of a honey like sweetness. T: Not real flavorful. Like the smell the taste is malty with a touch of sweetness. M: This beer is very crisp on the tongue. Its very light and smooth it goes down easy.
3.2 Straight forward malt aroma, kinda toasty with a trace of hops. Pours clear honey orange color with some decent lacing. Flavor is quite similar to the aroma description. Overall this is pretty good, a decent session brew.
3.0 Bottle. Poured a clear golden-orange color with a thin, bubbly white head that faded to a thin layer. Sweet, malty aroma with some light caramel and a bit of graininess paired with some faint grassy hops. Smooth, moderately sweet entry with some light caramel and a faint graininess that leads into a soft grassy hoppiness that lingers into a lightly dry finish. Moderate carbonation and crisp mouth feel. Overall, it’s a simple lager that doesn’t really stand out on any fronts, but it’s decent and drinkable.
2.9 Not much to say about this guy except that it’s a great tasting slightly malted lager that goes great in hot weather. This second edition being more crisp and less malty than the first.
2.0 Six pack from Arlington Whole Foods. Clear orange pour. Light aroma and equally lackluster flavor.
2.9 bottle. Nothing much special. Light amberish pour. Malty and light hops. Flavor is pretty benign. Caramel, light hops, crackers, and some fruit esthers. Ok.
2.8 Golden to copper in colo with an ok white head. The smell is floral, malts, not a whole lot of hops, and grains. The taste is floral, malts, grains, and nothing else.
3.1 Pours clear amber with a medium beige head, some lacing. Aroma of citrus, caramel, apple and biscuit. Light bodied, velvety and crisp. Sweet toffee malts up front, with some hints of biscuit and citrus, some mild grass and earthy notes in the finish. Well balanced and drinkable.
3.3 Pours golden with small white head. Aroma is sweet metallic malt, malted barley, some dark fruit & alcohol. Taste is malty & creamy...a touch of honey, raisin, and moderate amounts of hops. A truly heavy, full bodied, full flavored lager. Fantastic.
3.1 Bright copper in color with a decent sized white head. Aroma is of caramel, dough, and nuts. Taste is the same.
3.2 Bottle generously given to me by Ben. Pours dark gold with bubbly white head that recedes fairly quickly. Smells grainy and sweet. A bit metallic. Mild hops. Sweet biscuity malt. This is not remarkable, but it’s easy to drink and refreshing as hell.
3.1 12 oz. bottle served in lager glass- poured a transparent solid light copper color, medium carbonation, white ring around the glass for a head with minimal lacing. Aroma of wheat and a few floral. Hits the mouth with a low medium body, malt is defineable and pleasant, small honey note in the middle, finish is refreshing. Nice brew to put me to sleep when I couldn’t on my own last night.
2.3 Bottle: Came in a sample pack from Bev and More. First smell was powerful, heavy honey and floral notes. After that... nothing. Weak aroma, taste is slightly sweet with no character. Food pairing: Anything that needs washing down.
3.6 Bottle. Pours amber in color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly malt with a slight hoppiness. Flavor is sweet, medium malt. Slightly nutty, with a slight hop flavor as well. As the bottle itself states, "hella good". Especially for lager.
2.7 Reviewed 5/30/2009 (Bottle dated 062909): Pours a clear pale brown color body, with an average off-white colored head, diminishing. Burnt malty aroma, very nutty. Lager smell. Lager taste, some nuttiness. Light and refreshing. Dark tasting. Eh.
2.8 amber to orange pou with a small white head.sweet aroma with a hint of hops.taste of hops and sulfery lager notes. good to to see a well hopped lager
2.6 On draft at Flag brewing. Pour was golden with some amber hues, mediocre head, no real lacing to speak of. The aroma was strong grains, biscuits, and light fruits (lager crisp? Not really). The flavor followed the aroma, strong grains, biscuits, light fruits, honey, and some adjuncts. Mouthfeel was full for a lager, alcohol was smooth, but the malts were clearly big and a tad sticky for a lager. Like a premium strong lager, if there really is such a thing.
2.3 Hefty sample at Market of Choice. Light golden pour with a bubbly but small white head. Aroma is biscuit/cracker with a light bit of caramel and some citrus. Flavor is mostly that biscuit and caramel combo with a very tiny splash of citrus hop at the end. Very thin and not to my tastes at all.
2.2 The beer pours out a light amber/golden color with a 1" off-white bubbly head. Aroma is lightly sweetened graham crackers, a bit of bread, and sweet oranges. Flavor has an abundance of veggie character, buttered bread and a hint of fruit. Pretty blah.
2.7 Dark golden to light amber in color. Smallish off-white head. Some sweet malt and caramel in the nose. A hint of orange rind throws things off a bit. A pale malt start that grows into the middle and leads to a heavy lager/ML quality. Gets a bit cloying and sticky. Too heavy and fruity for my liking.
2.7 Bottle at Flying Saucer, Houston. Pours an average amethyst orange with a bready orange/light peach nose. Flavor is bready vegetables with an earthy backbone. Average mouthfeel. Too bready; it rots as it warms.
