Dar with no head. Smell of malt, chocolate and sligh hints of coffee. Taste is malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee and slight dark fruit afterhints. A great simple and traditional porter

Pours near black, small tight beige head with good retention and lacing.
Aroma is toasty, malts, toffee, sweetness.
Taste is malts, dark chocolate, light coffee, creamy, sweetness. Extremely moreish.
Body is smooth, creamy, soft carbonated.

Pours ruby red with a good head. Fruity and complex aroma. Deep and complex.flavour, peat, chocolatey, long lasting.
Aus der Flasche im 2021-03 getrunken. Diese Porter der Standard Range von Fullers startet überraschend mit bitten Röstaromen. Später kommt etwas Malz und Schokolade durch. Aber auch eine ganz leichte Hopfennote/-bitterkeit ist spürbar. Der Körper gibt nicht viel her und macht das Porter recht leicht trinkbar. Nichts besonderes aber ein ordentlicher Durstlöscher.
Bottle from an online shop. Dark brown, clear, with a moderate sized lasting head. Not too complex bitter-roasty nose with some cocoa notes. Flavor is smooth and rounded, chocolate malt and dark Cara goodness, really tasty. Not too bitter like some porters and stouts can be. Mid complexity. Extra point for being a classic of the style 😋
550ml bottle. Pours a soft black with pale edges & a minimal & fast fading white head. Solid chocolate & coffee on the nose. Light to medium body with a very smooth mouth feel & solid malt base. Very easy to drink. Impressive malty chocolate flavour with enough hops to balance it out & not too sweet. The fuggles do linger & so the after taste is much more bitter than anything in the beer. Miles away from the Asahi Dry so well done. If you are in NZ do try an Emerson or Mcleods Porter to see the local craft competition. Good beer from a multi-national.

Very dark without head. Smell of malt, chocolate and coffee. Taste is smooth with malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee and dades. Very well balanced and great lasting taste.

Silky and easy to drink with chocolate, coffee, malt, dark fruit taste with full body porter style and after that it’s dry finished.
In Thailand this beer is so a little bit expensive but really good one.
500ml bottle from Morisons at Five Oaks, Jersey. Pours black with a white head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, toffee & roasted malt. Medium body. Mild bitter finish. Very enjoyable
Toques a regaliz
London in a glass. I find this to be such a benchmark. Dark, elegant and beautiful. Wonderful metallic notes! Copper penny yet so wintery. Warming and comforting. A simple yet classic beer.
Creamy, chocolatey, but good
Presenta negro intenso opaco con media cabeza de espuma de larga retención, aromas a chocolate negro, café moka, vainilla, especias y maltas torrefactas; en boca entrada suave, maltosa con amargor ligero, notas terrosas y a café, cuerpo medio a ligero y bajo carbónico, retrogusto maltoso y un tanto amargo, buena cerveza compleja y correcta en estilo.
Ein Porter, das sich wirklich deutlich vom Stout aus der gleichen Brauerei unterscheidet. Da ich das Blach Cab Stout als sehr gut erachte, finde ich das etwas schade. Aber es ist wie es ist...
Das Bier ist recht süß, so dass es schon ür mich zu viel des guten ist. Die Malznote sind wohl gut ausgewogen, aber es fehlt mir etwas der bitterschokoladige Hintergrund, der meiner Meinung ein solches Bier auszeichnet.
Da gibt es bessere Porter.

Una grandiosa cerveza, con espuma generosa y persistente. Cuerpo medio, con textura astringente. Notas a chocolate, caramelo tofe y café.
Dark brown colour, medium beige head. Subtle aroma of molases and chocolate. Bittersweet taste, hints of roasted malt and dark chocolate. A bit of astringency, medium body, moderate carbonation. Not so good.

Taste.Chocolate notes, light coffee and raisins, rather bitter aftertaste.Excellent porter!
Pours a dark brown color with beige head, roasted chocolate aroma, taste finishes bitter, medium texture. Decent porter but I feel it's a bit lacking in flavor.

Fruity, toasty and with a big chocolate hit, this is an excellent example of the style. Lots of red berries give way to a smooth sweet finish followed by a slight bitterness. Very good.
Liquide marron noir avec mousse quasi inexistante. Nez malté torréfié café. En bouche, c'est une attaque très douce sur le café fraîchement torréfié qui débouche sur une amertume longue mais pas envahissante. Porter référence !!!

Appearance - deep brown to black.Orange chinks. Half fawn head.
Nose - sweet chocolate and wafer.
Taste - more creamy milk chocolate. Again a biscuit/wafer thing going on.
Palate - creamy texture, roasty finish. Medium bodied.
Overall - good.
Ein ausgesprochen süffiges Bier mit einem angenehm würzigen Geschmack. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man sich abseits der Einheitsplörre bewegen möchte.
Muy buena Porter, olores exquisitos a café y chocolate, una cerveza fresca con buen cuerpo ,sabores dulces a chocolate, recomiendo tomar fría no refrigerada
Dark mahogany brown, no head. Aroma faint malt. Taste, chocolate, liquoriche, malt, vanilla, prunes. Rich in flavour and exactly the right amount of sweetness, though perhaps lacking the body you might expect in a porter. Very nice.
