3.5 12 oz bottle from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a clear amber color with a small white head and limited lacing. The aroma of bread and caramel malts greets you. The taste is pleasant with a grainy texture. The ale has a medium body and soft carbonation. This is an easy-to-drink ale. Earlier Rating: 1/1/2005 Total Score: 3.1 This pale ale poured with a nice frothy head that quickly disappeared. This ale was well balanced with hops, malt and some sweetness. The color was light copper. My only other Fuller’s was their porter, which was very special. This was good but not remarkable.
3.5 500ml can Colour is a dark brown coloured ale with a one finger white head. Aroma is of toffees, caramel, roasted malt, brown sugar, floral and notes of dark fruit. Taste is sweet, toffees, roasted malts, earthy, hoppy, nutty but more watery and less caramelly than I was expecting. Carbonation is light and the mouthfeel is soft and slightly creamy. Overall a good beer, definitely drinkable and I would definitely drink again.
3.7 Good, would buy again.
3.0 Copper color, thin lasting foam, earthy and floral aroma. Leans way more bitter than malty. Has a dry, crisp hop bitterness with a little malt underneath. Missing some of the expected caramel sweetness.
3.0 0,5 l Flasche. Helles Bernstein, flacher Schaum.
3.3 My final purchase at a convenience store in London, a 500 ml bottle of London Pride. Pulling the cap and pouring into a semi-satisfactory room glass. The liquid is amber with a ring of totally white bubbles. The scent is biscuit with the potential of sweetness. I lift for a drink, grain, white bread, malt, a small bitterness, caramel and slightly astringent. Interesting.
3.6 500ml bottle, 4.7% abv. Amber coloured beer with off white head. Aroma and flavour of biscuity malt, light dates, caramel, some spicy and savoury hop character. Smooth with good bitterness and herbal finish. Nice balanced bitter, flavourful but easy drinking. Goes well with a roast.
3.7 One of the best shop-bought real ales. Flavour is toffee malts, rich herbal/floral hops, mild stone fruit and orange, nutty, with some bitterness. Light and smooth, with soft carbonation. Almost reminds me of an IPA crossed with Amber ale.
3.0 Színe borostyán. Szellős, törtfehér hab. Illata édes malátás. Közepes test, átlagosnál kevesebb szénsav. Íze gyümölcsös, karamellás megbolondítva kevés keserűvel. Gyümölcsössége fűszeres, halványan talán gyógynövényes. Aránylag tartja a habját. Szépen malátázott, leginkább a korty elején érezni, helyet hagyva a korty közepén megérkező komlónak. Kóstolva: 2022. 01. 27.
2.2 APPEARANCE: Clean ambered beer with fine, conpact and persostent foam. AROMA: Malty and caramelly aroma with some honey notes MOUTHFEEL: Medium body with a medium-low carbonation TASTE: very delicate grassy and sweet notes that are covered by a noticeable but pleasant bitterness
4.0 Malty. Caramel. Butterscotch. Toffee. Biscuity. Mildly nutty. Soft carbonation. Pleasant bitterness. Enjoyable English bitter. Would definitely like to try the casked one next time
3.5 Clear, amber, small white head. Aroma of butterscotch and malt. Taste of caramel and malt, pine and citrus aftertaste.
Aroma a grano, Malta, caramelo.
3.2 500ml bottle from local Kaufland store drinking 23/09/2021 BB 01 AUG 22 Pours a clear slightly reddish amber with minimal thin off-white foam on top and ok lacing. Aroma of malt and caramel, toffee and biscuit, slightly herbal hoppy. Taste is sweet enough with malt and caramel, nuts and biscuit, some tea/red currant spiciness and a more dry and hoppy moderately bitter finish. Very clean, refreshing and easy drinking, kind of light and enjoyable with an easy flavour, bit moderate. Medium light body and oily texture, light to medium carbonation. Also light 4.7% abv. Not that outstanding at least from this try but still quite good and enjoyable, would get to try again for sure.
3.0 Aroma : Strong toffee maltiness, subtle fresh green hoppy note with a tiny floral element. Taste : Medium-thin bodied, smooth texture. Overiding taste is a lightly sweet strong malty toffee, with a nicely balanced bittering hoppiness. Decent enough for style, but nothing spectacular!
Litt karamell, beskjeden bitter, ganske ok
2.3 Sabor débil y ligero, toques amargos muy leves
3.0 The aroma is caramel with hints of coca-cola. Smooth, slightly bitter caramel taste.
3.5 Low carbonation.brown.malty,dry and slightly bitter.A bit nutty and sticky. Bbf:01/07/2022
3.8 Pours a clear copper/amber colour with a thin off-white head. Aromas of caramel and doughy bread. Taste has more caramel and bread with faint notes of both biscuits and floral. There’s a nice crisp earthy hop on the finish that is not at all harsh but smooth with a bittersweet end. Full body, low carbonation and a very smooth mouthfeel. Top quality ale.

3.7 500ml bottle served in a straight pint glass, cellar temperature.. Amber coloured ale, with a white head, leaving a reasonable amount of lace on the glass. Malty aroma, with a hint of sulphur. Caramel, malt and hoppy bitterness on the palate, with the bitterness increasing to form a pleasent aftertaste. Excellent example of a English bitter ale.
3.2 Bottle, 4.7% abv. Poured pale amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, fruit, flowers. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Not as good as from cask.
4.1 Underbar
2.7 Bang average bitter. Quite refreshing, but doesn't really do anything interesting to make me want to go buy it again. Not my favourite style anyway and isn't special.
3.8 16 oz. draft at Archie's Bar & Grill. Clear bronze color with a small khaki head and fair lacing. Very clean and smooth lager with a light caramel flavor. Malty, but not too sweet. Tastes like a mellow Oktoberfest beer. Really refreshing and easy drinking. No bitterness.
