3.6 Maple in this seemed pretty artificial but was also very prominent. Good, not great.
3.6 Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a glass. Black with medium small light brown head. Aroma is coffee & maple, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is coffee and some maple.
4.1 Bottle: Poured a black with off white head. Aroma was light coffee and smoke, loads of maple and malts. Taste super maple with light coffee.
4.2 2017/12/29 - Pours jet black with a foamy tan head that quickly reduces and leaves minimal, patchy lacing. Aroma is incredible; chocolate, roasted coffee, light smoke, brown sugar, vanilla and a TON of sweet maple syrup. Taste is more sweet syrup, brown sugar, chocolate, light smoke, vanilla, hazelnut, coffee and a hint of soy. Mouthfeel is medium and oily with smooth (almost creamy) carbonation and a roasted, sweet finish. ABV is well hidden. Exceptional beer. Amazing maple syrup notes, rounded out with coffee, smoke, vanilla and chocolate. What’s not to love?
4.3 Bottled. Pours black, tan head. Aroma is tons of maple, sweet notes, chocolate, plenty of coffee. Don’t really get any bacon or smoky grease/salt/brine. But maple syrup dominates. Bit of cinnamon. Highly enjoyable. Flavor is syrup sweetness, coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Some coffee bitterness in the finish. Body is creamy without being overly thin. Reminds me of YGOFT. Delicious.
4.4 Bottle shared. Thanks Matt! Pours a deep brown with a small bit of beige head that dissipates. Huge pancake syrup nose that goes on and and on. Lots of coffee on top of that as well. Some faint brown sugar, and chocolate notes but mostly pancake syrup. Dates as it warms up. Sweet syrup on the palate, chocolate, coffee and more pancakes. Sweet finish with some light bacon flavors that come in behind the sweet syrup. Fun beer and pastry stout at it's best I suppose.
4.2 Pours black with low tan head. Aroma of maple syrup, a ton of it, chocolate, coffee. Taste is chocolate, coffee, maple syruuuuup... Rich and velvety body with soft carbonation.
4.3 650ml bottle @ Alex's. Pours an opaque black with a small brown head. Nose is intense maple syrup with a mild coffee note. Flavour is deliciously rich, a great maple syrup character throughout atop a roasted malt and coffee character. Not really getting any bacon out of this, maybe some background twinge. Overall this is a deliciously sweet, rich, and smooth Imperial Stout with great maple syrup presence.
4.4 Oxford tastings Black color, the head disappears quickly. Aroma and flavor provide an excellent character of chocolate with nuts, cream, and hint of coffee, moderately sweet, intense, perfectly balanced. Wonderful.
4.0 650ml bottle shared at Alex's. Bottled on 2017-03-31. Pours a dark brown with a weak beige head. Aroma is huge maple syrup, coffee, brown sugar. Similar taste with some roasted malt bitterness. This one is maple syrup, coffee and brown sugar bomb. Good.
4.3 22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is loaded with maple syrup upfront, followed by intense coffee, but not getting any smokiness or bacon. Flavour is intensely rich, with a lovely maple syrup character upfront, followed by roasted malt and coffee. Not getting any smokiness or bacon. What a lovely mix of maple syrup and coffee. Superb.

Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, dark maple, maple syrup, chocolate, sweet malt, coffee - coffee beans, light roasted. 3.8 Tastes like chicken and waffles but can't drink more of it than a glass-- sipping beer
3.8 I expect more from this brew. In general there is lot of maple syrup, the brew is very sweet, slightly smokey and slightly salty. This sweetness and maltiness could be pretty annoying. Sticky, syrupy, pretty heavy, ABV well hidden.
0.5 Gross artificial tasting beer. I'd rather drink pure maple syrup! Funky Buddha u should be ashamed! You beers *uck!
4.0 KRS 160517. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is mocha chocolate, maple syrup, roasted malt. Flavor is mocha, chocolate, maple syrup, alcohol, licorice, roasted malt, nuts, caramel, sugar, bacon. Weird beer in in a interesting way.
4.1 Dark brown in color... Aroma is breakfast, maple syrup, coffee, bacon, sausage.... Flavor is decadent, tons of chocolate, coffee, maple syrup, bacon, light chocolate bitterness on finish... Delicious beer
4.0 Bottle as a gift @Biervana Munich brown-black color with dark tan foam head. Intense Aroma of chocolate, caramel and of course maple syrup. Taste is similar with some nuts, coffee bitternes and roasty notes. Thick feel with low carbonation. Excellent beer. Very good balanced!,
4.2 Bottle, kindly shared by an American visitor to Biervana, many thanks! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is intense and sweet chocolate, caramel, maple syrup. Taste is the same, with quite some coffee bitternes and roasted notes, hazelnuts as well. Thick velvety body with low carbonation. Delicious and super-nicely balanced!
4.0 Bottle shared at Todd’s. Big rich coffee maple syrup almost breakfast in a bottle, but a breakfast I would never eat.
4.5 Bottled. Thx angst Pitch black with a large, beige head. Loads of cocoa and coffee in both aroma and flavour. Sweet, smooth palate.
4.5 2016 bottle, 9,5%. BIG aroma of maple and coffee REALLY pops. Possibly my favorite of the 3, by a hair. Less of the light smoke/bacon than the base porter, but oddly the body on this just a touch thin for an impy (3.5) - and that’s the only thing making this not my clear favorite of the 3. All fantastic, each with their strengths.
4.3 Black color with a nice thick frothy beige head. Solid lacing. Looks good. Good intensity in the aroma. Full body and a smooth carbonation level. Mellow nice sweetness for a beer like this. Solid lasting flavor with chocolate, maple, espresso and vanilla. Complex solid stuff with a dangerously well masked alcohol level. 4.4 660 ml bottle, shared by Werckmeister, many thanks. Pours a nearly dark mahogany with a tan colored head. There is a lots of maple syrup in the aroma along with roasted malt - cocoa, toffee, caramel, nuts. Medium to full body with a low carbonation, a medium to heavy sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is pretty full and again dominated by the maple syrup, very malty and lightly salty with caramel, brown sugar, coffee, licorice, smoke and lots of vanilla. The alcohol is nicely hidden and the beer is very well balanced overall. While the maple syrup dominates, the flavor is still rich and complex. Excellent brew! Aroma:9 Appearance: 4 Taste: 9 Palate: 4 Overall: 18
4.4 650 ml waxed bottle, shared by Werckmeister, big thanks! Black body, with a small, creamy, dark brown head. Aroma of smooth coffee, tiramisu, toffee, dark chocolate, maple syrup, cocoa, vanilla. Tastes quite similar, with some more liquorice, some tobacco, subtle smoke. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes roasty, medium bitter, a bit dry, wooden, a bit smokey, with liquorice, coffee, bitter chocolate, but also subtle sweet notes of cocoa and maple. Wow, delicious! Very complex and rich and especially incredibly smooth to drink for the ABV, really perfectly balanced. Starts quite sweet, but merges into a please roastiness towards the finish, so that it never gets sticky at all. Releases more and more aromas and changes direction a few times, while always keeping the focus. Really outstanding, accomplished stuff! Aroma/Appearance/Taste/Palate/Overall: 9/4/9/4/18
3.9 0,66l waxed bottle at home from trade with bursprak (big thanks for this one); shared with Saeglopur, Powy and my gf. No obvious BB date. black color, small coffee colored head. smells of maple, toffee, licorice, vanilla, bit toasty, very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, bit salty, bit acidic, caramel, licorice, some maple, umami, vanilla, light caramel. finishes lightly dry and bitter with notes of vanilla, maple and salty. quite nice one, not totally convinced by the balance a bit on the bitter side / a bit too heavy on the vanilla, but overall very nice one.
4.2 Dark beer with foamy beige head. Wonderful coffee maple nose. This is like drinking a donut. Rich maple flavor with lots of coffee, a bit of smoke, and raw brown sugar. Milk chocolate and vanilla. Lots of flavors and very big.
4.1 A: coffee, syrup, sweet chocolate, and toffee A: dark Brown, almost black, tanned head T: dark Malts, maple syrup, coffee, chocolate, smokey touch. Not too much of the salty bacon P: soy-ish, not thick, and a cacao aftertaste lacking bitterness Great beer, so fun to drink! A bit too soy-y, only downside of the beer considering the style
4.1 From tap. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, maple syrup, coffee and alcohol.
