A clear golden lager beer with a characteristic body, fine bitternes and delicate aroma. Because of its full-bodied and balanced flavor it has become the preferred choice for those who enjoy a premium quality beer. This beer is sold in USA as Famosa

1.3330ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Pale yellow color. Watery, papery, cardboard, vinegarish in aroma/taste.
2.5cheers .
2.7Bierige middag met biermaten Henk V. en Marco S. Opener uit Guatemala 🇬🇹. Land #166. Geregeld door Jeroen H. Niet eens slecht deze.
2.4Old Untappd checkin, November 2, 2016. Labeled as Famosa. Brown glass bottle. Standard lager aroma. Extremely light on flavor, almost watery.
1.7330ml bottle - thanks martjoobolut! As "Famosa" (3:2:4:2:6=1.7)
Hilariously pale, straw-like greenish tinge to my eyes. Slightly gluey papery aroma. Watery palate. Crazy floral solventy taste, papery. Pretty horrible, I presume this is way past BB like the other ones at the tasting.
1.4Rating copied from Untappd. Had at Flats Fix in New York City as Famosa on 19 jan 2020
3.312 oz. Aroma is grainy, corny. Pours crystal clear pale golden with a one finger bleach white head with decent retention. Taste is a little sweet with some actual hop bitterness by golly. There’s also a hint of tartness. Much better than your typical macro lager. Not bad considering.
1.7Golden lager, lacking flavor and not so well balanced. It’s great for drinking on a sunny when you’re thirsty.
2.7"The beer it self is very light in both colour and taste. Little to no foam head. It tastes kind of flat and boring with very little bitterness to it, which seems to be a trend for the Central American beers I’ve tried. Nonetheless another country crossed off the list." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Bought at: Total Wine & More in Westbury, USA.
3.5Gallo is just a lovely clear ale. Has great body and scent; great beer for day drinking.
3.0From a bottle to a glass. Pours a clear light yellow color with a big frothy creamy silky head. Aroma is sweet corn and slight earthy grassy hops. Taste follows the aroma with a medium mouthfeel. Crist refreshing tasty lager!
2.7Can purchased in the TERMINAL DE CRUCEROS, Puerto Barrios Guatemala.
Clear light yellow with a fleeting white head.
Skunky, grassy, green apple aroma.
Not much flavor. Some very light hop bitterness but very light and watery overall.
1.5Bottle shared by tfontana. Clear golden appearance. Aroma is slight grain, corn, yeast. Nothing wrong with the flavor, typical corn, rice, yeast in a thin watery body. Not awful. Drank about 5 oz.
2.2Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is pale crystal clear gold with trace sparkle, thin ring of off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is light malts with an almost barnyard and vinegary quality. Taste is pilsner malt cracker and cardboard. Mouthfeel is light bodied with thin texture, flat-to-soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, easy to drink, but so is water.
2.612 oz bottle from Halftime. Light golden, with small foamy head. Grainy aroma and taste with light vegetal notes. Not as bad as I would have guessed.
2.812oz bottle thanks to stevoj pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is sweet corn honey grassy hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet honey corn grain and grass.
2.0Corn flavour, and a lot white foam
2.2Aus der flasche in Tikal Guatemala, im Geruch malzig würzig; recht würziger Geschmack kaum Hopfen viel malz, wenig herb, naja
2.1350ml Flasche am Fuss der Tempel in Tikal, Guatemala. Klassischer Getreideduft. Herber Antrunk. Stroh, Getreide und etwas Hopfen.
2.0Bottle from World Market, as Famosa. Very clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is sweet grain, corn. Flavor is sweet grains, light grass, sugar. Though not overly sweet, there's a sugar-water hint in the end. Pretty flat. Hey look, my first rating from Guatemala.
1.6Bottle from Total Wines. Light golden lager. Sweet malt flavour with some floral notes. No noticeable hop flavour. Very mild. Probably quite refreshing in a hot climate.
2.5Getreidig, leicht strohig muffig. Relativ dominant aufdringlich im Geschmack, letztlich aber schnell vorbei.
2.7Famosa can at Ronero in Chicago, served as a chaser for a michelada. I finally get to tick another country after a long drought. Light yellow pour, fizzy with just a bit of haze. Agreeable malt, with little if any adjunct detected. I don't think it's that bad, and is just what it wants to be: a somewhat neutral sidecar to spicy food (or drinks).
4.5Good commercial beer, full of aroma and well balanced, a pleasant bitterness. A bit too sparkling.
1.8Bottle, because I had to tick Guatemala. Let's see guat's up with my first beer from the Guats. The color is pale golden, with a fizzy bubbly white head. Aroma is faint grainy malts and rice. The flavor is weak, like malt-flavored LaCroix, very watery. Fizzy crisp feel, despite the "full-bodied" descriptor it's very thin. Not a great one, but does that really surprise anyone?
2.4350 ml bottle. Pours a very pale straw-yellow with a small and quickly disappearing white head. Extremely mild aroma - some grains. Light to medium, fizzy body with a light bitterness and a light sweetness. The flavor is lightly malty with grains, light bread, some syrupy notes and like the aroma very mild but not unpleasant. Finishes with a light bitterness. Overall hardly any flavors but with a good drinkability and refreshing.

3.4Can, thanks to a friend. Country #72: Pale, Straw coloured beer, small head. Aroma is malt, grain, sweet. Taste is the same, sweet, slight bitter, pale lager as it can be.
2.1Bottle from bar in Flores, Guatemala. Golden color, white head. Pretty common lager, refreshing but not special. Ok here
1.4Labeled as "Famosa" - pours clear, light golden with medium head. Aroma is sweet caramel and corn syrup. Tastes starts cloying sweetness, before reverting to slight hoppiness. Chopping finish that lingers poorly. A beer for a very hot day when you need to chug a nearly freezing beer.
