Gayant La Goudale IPA

Gayant La Goudale IPA

Ingredients: water, barley malt, unmalted wheat, dextrose, hops (Simcoe, Cascade), ascorbic acid.

3.1 Bottle from Mitra in Gorinchem, The Netherlands. The beer is clear golden colored with a stable white foam. Carbonation is good. The aroma is malts, caramel, citrus, grapes, grass, flowers and some spices. The taste is medium bodied and sweet malty with caramel and goes to bitterness with citrus, grass and hops. Some spices also noticable. The finish is dry, bitter and a little alcoholic.
2.8 Flasche 0,33l: Dunkles Bernstein, Kupfer, glasklar, flüchtiger mittelporiger Schaum; fruchtige + kräftig malzige Nase, malzig-würzige Süße, dunkle/getrocknete Früchte, frische Hopfennoten, Malz, Getreide, fruchtig-trockene Bitterkeit, erinnert eher an ein Bitter; fruchtiger + würziger Körper, leichte Süße, Zitrusnoten, fruchtig-trockene Hopfennoten, Malz, Getreide, sehr cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure; würzig-trockener Nachgang
3.4 Dark amber with lasting off-white head. Smell of malt and hints of citrus. Bitter taste of malt, hops and little alcoholic finish. Nice bitterness.
3.1 33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow in St. Bonnet, bought@ intermarche St Armand. Clear golden with a thin white head. Malty aroma with a touch of caramel and some hops. Sweet taste with a considerable bitter finish. Hops keep lingering on the back of the tongue. Nice bitter IPA.
2.6 Pours a deep copper color with off white head. Cardboard and floral aroma and taste. Mostly malty mild floral character. Notes: bottle from France, Jul ‘20
3.3 Aroma of malt, wheat and hops Very nice amber colour with small head Bitter taste of fresh hops with small rye taste Very light mouthfeel with medium carbonation Nice
3.5 A fresh IPA with a slightly more than expected bitter hoppy flavour. A lovely deep golden colour. Sweet on the nose.
3.5 Tap at small caffeteria in Paris. Slightly cloudy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is herbal, caramelly, hoppy, piney. Taste is caramelly, hoppy quote harsh. Medium body, average carbonation. Oldscool
3.3 330 ml bottle, from Føtex Hjørring. ABV is 7.2%, 50 EBU. Hops are Simcoe and Cascade. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of fruity and spicy hops, notes of citrus and other yellow fruits. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour is first fruity, but ends in a sharp and somewhat unpleasant bitterness of earthy and medicinal hops.
3.7 33cl bouteille at Ramslade. Most palatable stab at a contemporary IPA from La France I’ve come across. Pillowy gold with high mousse and lace. Deep slightly sweaty aroma featuring green herb, mint, liquorice, nougat with orange rind, marmalade. Punchy and bitter with the aromatics to balance it; lemon zest, spearmint, some orange liqueur heat, pepper, good persistent husky afters.
2.9 The beer has got a hazy deep golden amber color with a steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and pine. Taste of hops, pine, herbs, citrus. Mild finish.
2.0 Bottle.Clear golden colour with small white head.Aroma is sweet and malty with hint of citrus and hops light body and short finish.
2.1 Bière trop amère
2.8 Bottle 33cl. Clear amber with a foamy white head. Citrus aromap and sugar (if that makes any sense). Malty taste with quite a bitter finish. Some flowery tones are present, but predominantly bitterness which stays rather long.
2.4 Dunkles Gelb kaum schaum, im Geruch malzig vlt ne Spur Trockenfrüchte, km Geschmack langweilig malzig getreidig gern ne Spur würzig grasig, unnötiges Bier
2.8 Bottle, 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a thin off white head. Aroma is weak with a hint of malt. Taste is soapy bitter with some malty sweetness. A little boozy. Funny taste, can't really place it, but it's not so nice... High carbonation, medium body. Not a fan.
2.5 Bottled 0,33L. Dark amber/reddish color, light unclear aspect, modest bubbly, much creamy and foamy head of long resistance. Aroma is moderate yeasty and fruity, notes of cortex, sweet and pale malt, roasted. Fraught and mellow palate, oily texture, moderate carbonation, intence alcoholic impression, unbalenced sweet mouth, spiced and resin body, long sweetish final.
2.6 Bottle. Golden with an off white head. Caramel and some pine in aroma. Sweet malt flavour mixed with some spiciness and a spicy bitter finish. Not my cup of IPA.
3.2 Clear golden pour. Smooth, light, drinkable hoppy IPA, a bit boring though!
2.1 Medium head. Taste of dark roasted coffee and water.
2.9 Ungewöhnliche 33cl Flasche aus dem Cora in Haguenau. Dunkel goldenes klares Bier, heller Schaum. Blumig-süsser Duft in der Nase. Der Geschmack ist sofort bitter. Kräuter, Blumen. Fast ein Hauch Gallenröhrling. Ungewöhnliche Aromatik, aber irgendwie auch seltsam. Das Bittere liegt schwer auf meiner Zunge. Ich bin etwas ratlos?!
3.3 Bottle 33 cl. Dark yellow golden, with a medium white head that fades very quickly. Little carbonation. Aroma is slightly sweet and has some hop hints. Not as explicit as your ordinary IPA. The taste is mildly bitter at first and develops slowly into a more IPA bitterness which stays in the aftertaste.
3.0 Bottle from Intermarche in Eygalières with les boules. Clear light copper pour. Thin white head. Aroma is grassy earthy hops, caramel, spice. Taste is very earthy bitterness despite cascade and simcoe, Pilsner-y malt crispness, some honey. Not really an IPA character, but not bad. Medium-thin body. Fine but wouldn’t get again.
