3.8 Light pumpkin color. Very small bubbles. Sweet malts mouth filling. Surprised by there not being strong hops. Lingering taste in mouth good but not great. Citrus taste present. Leaving a little bitter aftertaste.
3.0 Tap at MBCC 2017. Pours hazy golden. Light citrus , pine aroma. Medium light bodied. Slightly watery.
3.8 [8910-20161124] Tap. Fragrant floral tropical fruit aroma. Slightly hazy, orange red body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Boozy bitter orange floral hops flavour. Medium-full body. Good. (7/4/8/4/15) 3.8 (@ Birreria Volo, Toronto, ON) Overheard: "I’m poised and having a reasonable conver-waaaah!"
3.6 Bottlepour at Brauhaus. Pours slightly hazy amber. Nose is big tangerine, fruits, some grassy herbs, sweet caramel. Tastes sweet caramel, tangerine, herbs and citrus, booze, sticky.. I could say gin at least when knowing it as it does have herbal booziness.
3.2 Pours a hazy golden orange from the bomber with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, mild citrus orangey hops, and booze. Taste follows, solid but unexciting and slightly oxidized. Meh.
2.3 Pine. A hint of menthol? Deep honey gold. Thick foamy off white head. Fair amount of lacing. Light bodied. Almost watery. Pine. A little grapefruit. Aspirin bitterness. Meh
3.7 From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a clear orange amber with a big, white head. Aroma has some piny hops, light minty, light grassy, also some citrus, slight orange. Taste is pretty sweet, mid sip it has some booze, and finishes off malty and bitter. Oily texture and an average carbonation.
3.8 Nose is alcohol dank and sweetness. Lasting head. Flavors of grape peel. A bit rough on the tongue. Sweet sticky intense. Average. Pineapple mango light. Second time I had was smooth. Smooth as beer syrup. Needs more intensity.
3.6 [Draught at Birreria Volo] Pours a deep orange-amber with an average size lasting frothy white head. Some lacing. Aroma of piney hops, grain and a good amount of fruit -- not as hoppy as expected. Flavour is sweet, fruity and hoppy. Alcohol well hidden. Medium bodied. Pretty good, not as big a beer as expected.
3.8 Draft. An amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, pine needles, spices, malt, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hops, spices, pine needles, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.
3.8 Bomber to pint - pours a murky copper, decent ivory head. Aroma of spicy peach, citrus, fresh bread. Nice on the tongue... Creamy at first touch, zesty towards the back. Nectarine, tropical fruits, caramel, resiny hops, traces of spearmint.
3.7 Orange brown pour, nice off white head. Aroma of orange, caramel, flavor is very hoppy and bitter, of grapefruit, orange, and sweet caramel. Traditional double ipa, but well balanced.
3.6 Duft frisk svag jucie appelsin smag citrus lime appelsin lodt malt kant fyldig
3.8 Tap. Hazy amber body with an average, lacing off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, graprfruit, oranges, piney notes and some caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily to creamy texture and soft carbonation. A very nice DIPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
3.6 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - orange, pine and a hint of cake mixture. Plenty of resin. Taste - orange and toast. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good beer.
3.7 Bomber from Appellation Wines, Dalry Road. Pours hazy golden orange with a thick white head. Aromas of classic American DIPA, resin, pine, lime marmalade... it almost smells oily. Taste is light sweet, oily resinous hops, almost minty. Sweet finish.

3.2 Sample from bottle at Hy-Vee Oktoberfest. Pours amber, off white head. Aroma was pine, grassy hops, fruit rind. Taste was bitter, pine, pine resin.
3.6 Bargain bottle from Bridgend Services, Freuchie. Pours with a slight haze. Darker shade of amber. Quickly subsiding but unshifting off-white head. Good lacing. Mango custard aroma. Caramelised oranges. Hint of maple syrup. Slightly spicy. Some wet, earthy pine. Slight heat from the abv. Caramelized biscuit sweetness. Marmalade. Tea bread malts. Nice amount of bitterness but is rather subdued in comparison with other big IPA’s I’ve tried. Gently bitter finish with lingering sweetness. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Restrained carbonation. Longish finish. Drinkable double
3.4 Slightly hazy dark copper pour, aroma is mostly bitter orange with some light floral hop notes. Flavor is tropical if this style, bready malts, citrus pine notes in the finish, medium length. Quite balanced though die this style.
3.7 Bomber shared at the MDBG tasting 4/4/16.Clear copper, thin fizzy white head, decent retention. Aroma of pale malt, tropical fruit, pine, melon. The taste is tropical fruit, mango, berries, vanilla, pale malt. Medium bodied.
3.2 Bomber - dark orange and cloudy with spotty lacing. Lots of dark fruits (apricot and plum). Medium body with a medium dry finish and an aftertaste of crackers.
3.2 Bottle from Wine Rack at Yarnton Nurseries, consumed at Shrewsbury Folk Festival Sunday 28th August 2016 Pours murky yellowy amber in colour with a white head atop. Sweet with an indistinct fruity flavour, drinks easier than the abv would suggest. Quite thick in the mouth, ok, actually I am getting a booziness. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.2
3.4 Bottle from GBBF 2016 and drunk at home. Clear deep amber orange colour lasting off white head. Some sweetness, some malt, some hop. More like an American Strong than an Imperial IPA. Some bitterness on the finish. Hides ABV well. Caramel aroma. It’s ok but really this style has moved on from this. It’s some toffee malt for the ABV and then some base bitterness on the finish. It’s ok. Malt and bitterness but done ok. Almost a best bitter in the malt flavour. Just about twice as strong. Went well with the Tony Hancock.
4.0 I am not a hophead but man this one is a clear cut above! The density and blend was so well done.
3.4 Rich, super duper hazy peach and apricot coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, pine, earth, toffee, toasted malt, oak, spruce and rather floral hops and some pungent alcohol and candy sugars. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malt flavour with alcohol, subdued grain, gin, juniper berry, toasted malt, oak, cognac and grape flavours throughout. Aftertaste is a slight more refined with the pine and spruce hoppiness coming out finally, but a ton of alcohol and medicinal bitterness with the pungency of a day old Barley Wine - strong. Overall, a decent Imperial IPA that tends towards the stronger side of things, especially with the pungent alcohol and pine/spruce/floral notes that dominate first. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Portland (Pearl), Oregon on 04-May-2015 for US$7,99 sampled at home in Washington after just driving from Portland (Maine) back home on 01-August-2016.
3.6 Bomber from Spirits Jackson. Poured a deep amber body with an average sized frothy off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, apricot, pineapple, sweet grains. Flavor of fruit skins, dry toast, grains, touch of alcohol on the very end. Smooth creamy body, softer carbonation and a well hidden ABV.
