3.5 Pours a hazy orange with white head. A caramel malt, fruit and hop aroma. A malt backbone taste with caramel, fruit and some citrus hops. A bitter hop and sweet caramel afteraste.
3.7 On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Soft orange on the nose, a touch of toast. Medium bodied, soft malt, a bit of sweetness, orange, a touch of honey. Gentle citrus, a touch of fruit. Slow citrus, soft bitterness into the finish. Gentle musk, orange, a bit of pine and citrus. Easy with very faint bitterness.
3.3 Pours a semi hazy deep and dark golden color with a thick off white head. Aroma is of hops, malts, some lactic, oak, and a little grass. Heavier and dry palate. Flavor is of hops, malts, fig, bark, oak, and a little booze. Leaves a dry hopped finish with some malts in the finish.
3.6 From tap. It pours clear deep golden with a white head. Sweet fruity hoppy aroma. Peach and light pine. Sweet fruity hoppy flavor. Malty and piney. Peach and passion fruit.
3.5 Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is mango, pine and hops. Taste is lime, pine and hops.
3.9 Off white frothy head left a collar on a very hazy dark orange coloured still body. Big fruity aroma with tropical fruits, peach & Haribos. Medium to full mouth feel. Smooth with minimal carbonation. To the fore this has quite sweet citrus flavours with tropical fruits, peach & resin but this sticky dissipates to bitter back with, grapefruit, rye, pine & under ripe fruit. Throughout all this there’s a constant undercurrent of malt.
3.6 Tap at knock back in Portland. Light copper gold with white head and good lacing. Fresh nose. Hop taste but with some sweet maltiness. Good.
3.3 Beautiful clear amber with a fast fading cream-colored head. Light pine aroma with some caramel malt in the background. Malt balanced with some bitterness at the mid point but ends with a short somewhat sweet maltiness. Leaning more towards a British IPA. Nice but needs more hop bitterness to offset the malt.
3.5 pours a clear amber color with a decent head. persistent lacing. classic pine, citrus, and bready aromas. more on the malty side. fuller body. medium bitter soy saucy finish.
3.8 Pours a clear Amber color with a thin white head. The aroma is citrusy, grapefruit, bready malts. The flavor is mostly citrusy and bready with some pine. Mouthfeel is light to medium.
3.6 Bottle. Crisp citrus/grapefruit aroma. Golden in colour with a frothy white head and some lacing. Lemon/lime bitter citrus flavour with some pine and biscuit notes. Medium body. Long bitter finish.
3.4 Shared 22 oz. bottle. Pours amber-orange with a medium foamy white head. Aroma of fruit, citrus, malt. Taste follows nose with some pine notes. Decent.
3.4 Aroma: sweet and malty; nice; Appearance: clear amber pour with thin white head that lingers; Taste: follows nose, without much bite; Palate: medium body with medium hoppy finish; Overall: solid IPA but a bit heavy on the malt; might get again if on sale.
3.0 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer.
3.4 Bottle. Hazy orangish amber with an off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, toffee, and pine. Tastes lightly bitter. Medium bodied. Somewhat mediocre IPA.
3.5 A medium hop tasting and medium hop bitter ipa that is well balanced but probably tasted better before transatlantic transportation
3.6 Draft. An amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of flowery hops, citrus fruits, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, citrus fruits, hops, and peaches, leading to a bitter finish.
3.3 CBC2015 ,Pours orange with a medium head ,tangerine , lemon, fruits, medium bodied
4.2 Draft at growlers - pours a tinted gold with a thick, inviting white head. Tropical hops on the nose, pine resin, pineapple. Drinks very smoothly, medium bodied. A bit slick at times but it pulls in a rich, full fruity flavor with a spicy bite. Good stuff!
3.6 Cask days 2016, dry hopped with Citra and simcoe hops. This is pretty much what you?d expect. Big citrus, no malts, hints of pine. Pretty straight forward west coast ipa. Nice, but nothing extraordinary.
2.9 This beer is drinkable. When you have drank so many IPAs this was doesn't really stand out. Cheers!
3.5 Pint at Atomic Cowboy. This is a pretty good looking IPA. It’s amber with a pretty clear body and a solid white head. Plenty of rich notes of grapefruit and pine come through in the aroma. The body is pretty full with good carbonation. A touch of specialty malt imparts appropriate sweeter flavors for balance, though overall it finishes relatively dry. Good grapefruity hops provide tons of flavor, though it comes across at times as grassy and astringent. Overall, this is solid and I’d like to revisit it.
3.8 Hazy amber in the glass. Aroma of caramel and pine & floral hops. Sweet taste and not as bitter as expected, with a mellow malty finish. Some metallic/oxidised aftertaste but may have just been stored too long. Nice, well rounded IPA.
3.4 Bomber from Spirits Jackson. Poured a nice looking deep honey amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of wild flower honey, medium toast, caramel and amber malts, sweet citrus. Flavor is a little flat compared to the aroma. Cereal nd toast, light tropical and citrus notes. Medium mouthfeel and soft carbonation.
3.7 Draft to pint glass Consummation: tropical fruit, grapefruit, and orange Adjunct: pine, light spruce, grapefruit, orange pith, mango; light amber with a long lasting creamy head.
4.2 My bomber of Gigantic IPA had some age from sitting on a shelf for a while, but for $3.99 there’s no point in being picky. Despite the age, a pungent American hop bill shines through. Herbaceous, citrusy, spicy, and bitter. The caramel malt body supports things nicely. This manages to taste like an appropriately aggressive Northwestern American IPA, yet still be fairly balanced and approachable.
3.7 Clear copper, good finger of off-white. Nose is pine. Bitter, but not overly so. Middle is caramel, spicy hops, muted soft fruit. Finishes malty.
3.3 Very big pour. Aromas are a bit on the sweet caramel side. Interesting flavor profileb that reminds me of many double IPA's: piney resin but still with the caramel sweetness. Lacks the punch.
3.7 Tap at Crowbar. Pours hazy golden. Hoppy aroma of stone fruit, tropical fruit. Light biscuit notes. Smooth and balanced.
3.2 Bottle, #h-J16, 23/06/16, thanks bluus. Pours orange with a decent, off-white head. A decent IPA, caramel, fruitiness, alright.
