Super Lecker!
2.737.5cl bottle from Etre Gourmet. Amber coloured beer with medium head. A nice sour but too sweet to my likings. Not a big fan of Faro,
3.327-01-18 // bottle shared. Unfiltered red brown. Interesting nose. Aroma of some sweet malts a flemish brown sourness. Missing some words to describe it. Tastes good.
3.2#1771
Bottle. Hazy, amber to brown, medium white head. Aroma of hips, caramel, leather, sweet wine. Taste is lightly sweet, rouch of sourness and tartness. Woid, caramel, berries, hips, hip tea, touch of hip rose. Medium body and carbonation.
Good, but I prefere pale versions of Faro style. In this one is too much caramel and it not works well.
2.9Bottle 0.375l. Lightly cloudy, amber colored. AROMA- vinous, grape sugar, hips. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, vinous, sugar, a bit fruity. Medium bodied.
Somewhat boring.
3.0Piana nieduża, sycząca, szybko opada do firanki. Barwa miedziana, klarowna. Aromat delikatnie skórzany, winogronowy, z nuta kandyzowanych moreli. W smaku półsłodkie, lekko kwaskowe, lekko winne, lekko dzikie. Niewielka mineralność i pestkowość w posmaku, średnie wysycenie, dość mdłe w odbiorze.
3.237,5cl Bottle @ Be Hoppy, Madrid, Spain.
Dark amber colour with a thin white head.
Aroma is malt, fruits, slightly tart.
Taste is malt, sweet, tart, hints of apples and yeast.
Medium to light body, average to low carbonation
3.4Bottle at home, paired to a meal with a pear stew. Great pairing, next time I’ll try to make a stew with Faro in it. Clear dark golden with thin white head. Sweet malts, dry wood, cardboard, old apple and pear peels, distant lambic aromas, sugar, dusty dark honey, apple vinegar. Moderate sweet with a slight rinse sour note. Medium body and soft carbonation. Never a huge fan of Faro but this gastronomic discovery opens new doors.
3.2Piwo klarowne w kolorze bursztynowym nalewa sie z dosc obfita drobnopecherzykowa piana. W aromacie czerwone slodkie owoce i karmel. W smaku troche jak wygazowana cola, bez dzikich nut z przewaga ciemnego cukru. Bez goryczki z wysyceniem na srednim poziomie.
4.0Sour cherries. Caramel. A hint of funk. Murky orange/amber. Very brief off white head that leaves a bit of lacing and a ring around the edge. Very smooth. Velvet mouthfeel. Tart. Fruity. A sharp sour/bitter bite at the finish. Really nice.
3.1Appearance: Medium brown, clear. Slight off-white head.
Aroma: Dark fruits, raisins. Malt?
Taste: Sweet, fruits, on a slight tart background. Not at all bad.
Bought: The Bottle Shop (Bruges), 375 ml, ~€3.00

2.3Bottle, 15/07/17. Pours a dark mahogany orange with no head. Aroma is cherry, some sweetness, sour cherry, balsamico, apple skin. Taste is sweet, cherry, balsamico, slightly sour, appleskin. Too sweet, no carbonation.
3.4Bottle at home. Clear amber body with a small white head. Light tartness, lots of sweetness, brown sugar, as previous raters says - cola notes. Not a favourite style, but drinkable.
3.3Brown with almost no head. Aroma has some slight funk, malts, definitely picking up the cola factor the previous rater wrote about. Sour, oily, light bodied and slightly weird.
3.3Bottle at In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst. Clear golden with white head. The aroma has notes of kvass, honey, caramel, coke, some fruitiness and tea. Very sweet flavor with notes of kvass, caramel, honey, lemon, a bit acidic, wood. Soft carbonation, medium-bodied.
3.2Bottle at " In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst". Clear amber. Aroma of brown sugar, oak, caramel. Sweetish-tart, bread, caramel, wood. Medium-bodied, low carbonation. Reminded me home made kvass.
3.1Bottle thanks to WingmanWillis. Murky burnt orange colour with a sweet, spicy aroma. Taste is sweet, boozy raisins with a hint of bitterness to finish. Wouldn’t be my first choice of beer, but not unpleasant.
3.2Bottle on train. Pours red brown with a thin white head. Aroma is brown sugar, some funk, tart fruits. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, a little orange and then a little funk on the finish before mellowing out. Nice and smooth. Ok
3.4Bottle share thanks to Wingman. Winner style. Poured hazy light brown with small off white head. Nose is sour grapefruit. Taste is sweet grapefruit lemon citrus fruit. Sour tang is there. Nice
2.8Rami Rami is drinking a Faro Girardin 1882 by Brouwerij Girardin at Konstruktorska Business Center
2017 na korku. Siano, troche stajnia, owoce, slodkie, takie az fermentujace, chlebowe nutki, kwasnosc niewysoka. Niespecjalnie mi pasi, acz ciekawe
3.6Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 23D, adapted). Bottle 37.5 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: moderate sour aroma with notes of horse blanket / goaty. faint apples with a slight sweet background. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium-low ivory head with low retention. TASTE: medium-low sour flavor with a slightly sweet background. faint apples and low wild yeast fermentation (horsy). faint bready-grainy notes. low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: light body with medium-low carbonation. slight tartaric mouthfeel. OVERALL: an average faro-style lambic.
3.3Bottle, 375 ml at Gainsbar, Kortrijk. Pours brown small off white head. Malty, brown sugar, light fruit, moderate sweetness, sourish note, some dry bitterness in finish. Not very exciting,
3.6Bottle. Amber colour with white head. Fruit, barnyard aroma. Sweet, fruit barnyard, caramel and yeast taste. Medium body.
3.5Bottle - Vintage 2015 - Funk and some sweaty notes. Cloudy dark gold with a nice beige head. Light barnyard and sweat with a touch of sweetness and funky finish. Not bad.
3.20,375l from bottle at home. Vintage 2017. Bordeaux like colour, small pink head. smells musty, tobacco, light fruit notes, some sweetness, nutty, candy, overall ok smell. Medium Body, light carbonation, soft mouthfeel. tastes of candy, tobacco, bit musty, some fruits, some grass. finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter with some fruit and grass notes. ok, but could use some complexity.
