On tap at Gist. Not sure if I had this one (blackboard) or the Kriekenlambiek (UT list). Deep red colour, thin pink head. Aroma of cherries, marzipan, some butter, light acidity. Flavour is medium sweet, cherries, some marzipan, hint of butter (nothing too disturbing), light sourness, slightly tart finish. Light bodied. Decent, mellow Kriek.
Barwa bordowo brudna z delikatną mgiełką. Piana wysoka, koloru różowego średnio trwała. Pękając tworzy duże dziury i przypomina pianę z detergentów.
Aromat wytrawny, winny o octowym zabarwieniu. Wiśni tutaj jak na lekarstwo.
Smak kwaśny, podobnie wytrawny winny. Są nuty octowe, minimalnie wiśniowe, za to z czerwoną porzeczką, próżno tu jednak szukać akcentów dzikich.
Wysycenie wysokie do średniego. Pełnia niska.
On tap at Koelschip. Ruby red. Sugary and almonds and cherry aroma, sour, cherry taste. Medium body, mildly sour finish. Nice.
From notes. Most likely at de Geuze & Kriek dagen @ In De Wildeman. Bag in box (but had this many times from bottle in an even further past). Deep purple color. No head. Aroma's: soft sour, fruity, cherries, almond, even light sweet. Flavor: mildly sour with some sweetness. Light bodied. Hardly any carbonation. Bit trat finish. I've always loved Girardin.
Pours dark red, small head. Aroma is dried cherries, strawberry, funky, yeasty, jam. Taste is dry, fruity and grainy, slightly sour, sweet, strawberry, raspberry, a bit like homemade wine hint.
Bottle at poechenkeller. Pours light ruby some head lots of lacing. Notes of tart berries, vinegar, tart cherries, maybe some blueberry. Medium tart, light sweet. Light body lively cwrbonation.
37,5cl bottle at home, bought at Acedrinks.nl. Appearance: hazy brownish red with medium sized light pink head. Aroma: sour cherries, brett, quite funky, dust, some horse blanket and a hint of metal. Taste: pretty high sweetness, low bitterness and medium tartness. Notes of sour cherries, dust, horse blanket. Slightly wry finish. Palate: medium bodied, oily to watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: this one is quite refreshing. Not too strong in acidity. Something in the aroma is slightly astringent, though, at least to me. Anyways, quite a good kriek for the beginning lambic/kriek drinker.
37,5cl bottle at café de koffer in Groningen. Pours a clear pink colour with a medium pink head. Aroma of cassis, cherries, slight Brett. Taste is medium sweet, moderate bitter with a moderate dry and high acidic finish. Notes of cherries, cassis, slight malt dust, slight brett. Texture is oily to watery, medium bodied with medium carbonation
Cask at GBBF 2018, Kensington Olympia. Hazy pink. Strong aroma of real cherries. No syrup here. A very nice and drinkable beer. Loads of real cherry flavour.
Barwa czerwonawa, piwo lekko przymglone, piana biała.
Aromat średnio-intensywny, na pierwszym planie słodkie wiśnie, kompotowe i nuty słodowe. Dzikość na niskim poziomie w tle.
W smaku niska, wiśniowa kwaśność, nuty owocowe lekko kompotowe, finisz cierpki. Całość mało intensywna.
(red clair, nez ∞-cerise, sucrée (peu aigre), bouche ~acide, > cerise (150g), back acide, peu sucrée, restobière Bruxelles)
Sampler. Mega utlenione, smakuje jak barleywine nie jak lambik. Pijalne, ale bez charakteru piwa pierwotnego.

375ml bottle at Werckmeisters place, vintage 2010, shared by Werckmeister, many thanks! Pours a lightly brownish wine-red with a slightly pinkish white head. Smooth aroma of sweet cherries, sour raspberries and subtle musty funk. Medium body with a very soft carbonation, a very light sweetness and a light sourness. Flavor of cherries, some berries and wood - very mellow - and lots of sherry notes. Overall to mellow.

Vintage 2010. bourdeaux like color, small pink head. smells joghurty, earthy, light cherry notes, grassy, light wood, nice smell. medium to full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of cherries, cherry skin, musty, bit citric, grassy, bit earthy, peppery, bit oxidized. finishes lightly dry with notes of cherries, oxidation and nutty / marzipan notes. nice one, but cherry notes not very present.

Vintage 2017. bourdeaux like color, small white head. smells funk, earthy, marzipan, cherries, bit peppery. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes cherries, sour cherries, bitter almonds, marzipan, grassy, bit herbal, nutty. finshes lightly sour with notes of sour cherries, bitter almonds and some marzipan notes. nice stuff, easy to drink.

Ej ale to słabawe jest. Nikły aromat, lekka wiśnia, cukier, niewiele jakiejkolwiek dzikości. W smaku mało kwaskowe, dość słodkie, wiśniowe, tylko trochę mniej aspartamowe niż bazowy lindemans, żadnej dziczy. Da się pić, ale takimi wytworami można się zrazić do lambików in general.

Botella 37.5 cl en Cimmeria 23..02..2018. (r586). color rojizo rosáceo turbio con espuma rosacea. Sabores ácidos frescos y afrutados del bosque no muy intensos. Cuerpo medio fácil de beber, no muy seco. Se esperaba algo más de acidez. Bastante buena para repetir.
Pivo u flaši. E ovo je više Lambic a manje Fruit. Nema to veze sa Lindemansom koji je vrlo zastupljen kod nas. Aroma je više na "kominu" od grožđa i onda malo te njihove višnje.
Okus je dosta trpak i kiselkast pa onda na kraju višnja.
Mislim da to treba piti poslje vrlo "jake" hrane , kao što je svinjetina sa ražnja ili bilo kojeg pečenja. Probati obavezno , jer se taj stil u Belgiji visoko cijeni.
37.5cl pullo, korkissa Diam DX 2017. Tummanburgundinpunertava väri, nopea reunoille häipyvä vaahto. Tuoksu hivenen etikkaisa, viettelevä. Suutuntuma samettinen, kuohuva, emäksisen imelä, kriekmäinen makea alkufiilis, makeus ei kuitenkaan jatku vaan vaihtuu happamuuteen, ticks all the right spots. Särpimisen yhteydessä happamuus muuntuu suussa sulavasti makeuteen ja kihelmöintiin. Äärettömän hieno kriek, arvostan.
Bottle from Arcade Beers, Huddersfield. Pours a clear red colour with a thin light pink head. Aroma of cherries, oak, some barnyard and slight vinegar. Taste of cherries, oak, some barnyard, redcurrants, slight tartness and subtle vinegar. Medium bodied and a slick texture. A tart and juicy, cherry finish. Tart cherries and that hint of acidic vinegar really make this beer. Complex as it should be a lovely to drink.

Bottle shared at beeroda tasting session. Red colour, small pink head. Cherry and magcián nose and taste. A little bit too much on the apricot seed like bitterness. I wish they pitted at least a part of the cherries.
Wazig rood/amber met off white kraag. Aroma van hout, kers, Zuurtje, mout, oud fruit. Smaken redelijk veel houttonen, zacht zuur, fruitig, kersen, redelijk droog, dun en waterig, beperkt complex, bevat wel veel kers, maar niet al te veel, matige body,
Bottle at home. This is a beutifull beer obversily tastes of cherries but is well made and is great beer
Flesje (gebotteld 2012) gedeeld door Benzai. Roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Aroma van kersen en pruimen. Smaak is eerst een beetje zoet en trekt zuur weg.
Bottle. Cork has the date 2018 on it. What does that mean? Deep red wine color, thin pinkish head. Barnyard lambic yeast and sour cherry aroma. Up front sour lambic and the cherries provide a wonderful balance. Delicious. Long bitter, vinegary palate with pleasant cherries. Not as hardcore as Lindemans cuvee rene kriek, but it’s really enjoyable and pleasant. Demanding beer, but not knock down drag you out as some lambics can be. I like this one a lot.
Gekocht op zaterdag 4-2-2017 bij K&S Beer Tobacco Galerie in de Katelijnestraat 52 te Brugge tijdens het 10e Bruggse bierfestival. Een winkeltje waar je keuze hebt uit meer dan 500 verschillende bieren en met nog een ingang/achterdeur rechttegenover brouwerij De Halve Maan. Geproefd op 22-07-2017. Kriek Girardin 1882 is een helder rood biertje dat licht roze schuim produceert in een normale hoeveelheid, dit vormt een romig-moussige structuur en blijft sterk aan de glaswand kleven. Toch zakt het heel snel in elkaar tot er nog een fijn laagje overblijft. Weinig CO2 pareling te zien van fijne belletjes. Kriek Girardin 1882 heeft een zoet aroma waar je stroop en lichtjes wat cuberdon kunt in ontdekken, ook gekonfijte krieken en wat hout-toetsen zijn erbij. De basis smaak van Kriek Girardin 1882 is zoetig en vooral zuur. Ook het stroperige, de cuberdons, de gekonfijte krieken en het hout zitten erin. In de mond geeft Kriek Girardin 1882 een volle smaak met een olie-achtige textuur. De koolzuurprikkeling is normaal, een harmonieus totaalgevoel in elk geval. De nasmaak vloeit wat uit en is stroperig zoet, wat zurig en zeer lichtjes droog, de gekonfijte krieken en de houttoetsen zijn er ook weer bij. Leuk drankje, spijtig dat je geen echte krieken smaakt en het zuurtje mag voor mij wat sterker.
Pretty bad ... the fruits are less noticeable than in fanta ... texture is fine, but it is to hazy and lacks acidity. Black is in different league.
