3.5 Pours slightly darker than golden and pretty hazy, with a big and quite dense white head that shows good retention and lacing. The aroma was not very intense: white bread and cereal, citric notes (mostly orange and lemon) plus slight flowery and spicy hints. It's all there if you stick your nose but somehow it was quite subdued. Taste notes followed the aroma closely with much more intensity. A white bread base, citric notes as per nose, flowery notes (i think chamomille is the one i'm getting most) and moderate per style spiciness. Medium to light bodied with medium to high, lively carbonation, resulting in a very easy mouthfeel for it's abv. A classic, refreshing witbier with a bit more presence than usual. Overall a nice one.
2.4 Aroma; wheat, coriander, citric stuff, clove, fruit acids. Look; off-white low head on hazy blanche golden body. Taste; sweet malts, lemon, coriander, clove, peel, dough, and sourish end. Feel; ok body n co². Overall; maybe wit goes better below 5%. [čištění starých papírů,, lahvové pivo, koup@německém obchodě]
3.6 Copenhagen 29/4 2020. 75 cl bottle neatly paper-wrapped bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Clumsy drawing of the Flemish Robin Hood lurking in the grass on the wrapping. Pours hazy yellow with a medium-sized, bubbly white head. Settles quite quickly as a thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is medium intense and of sweet fruity lemonade mingling with citric notes. Tangerine, citrus. Wheat malts providing lightly perfumed, sweet base. Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is citric sour. Lingers for a while. Finish has a light boost of alcohol. A fine Witbier avoiding the overly lemonade orgy and having a nice tart edge. And it dos not spoil the fun with a decent ABV.
3.8 Yellow in colour. Very fruity, taste of orange. Very «fresh». A good choice!
4.0 Years of Hoegaarden (R.I.P.) and Kronenbourg Blanche in the years when beer didn't exist, had put me off from this style of beer. Then, I found De Glazen Toren. Pours hazy amber, a finger of white head, which lingers on top of the beer, sticking well to the glass. Aroma is floral, yeasty, minor citrus. Bitterness doesn't live here, all malt beer, with wheat malts and yeast that play the game. Citric esters wrap it up. And when you try to recall that Hoegaarden that you had in 1998 and it tasted closer to it, before the money arrived. Medium body, smooth, creamy, whatever you want from a witbier is here.
3.5 Taken with family as an introduction to a great weekend, a nice Belgian wit.
4.3 spicy double white beer!! hard alchohol.
3.7 Bevuta alla spina al villaggio della birra. Aroma di grano non citrico. Fgp
2.7 Fles 75 cl.
Plaisant.
4.3 Birra blanche belga atipica dal colore biondo torbido, in produzione limitata. Schiuma fine e molto persistente, aroma citrico, speziato, notevolmente agrumato. Corpo all’inizio molto snello, note speziate del coriandolo, dolciastre del curacao e rinfrescanti dell’agrumato.

3.5 75c bottle from Sandersput, Ninove. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, foamy, white head; little lacing. Fresh aroma of banana, lemon zest, orange peel, coriander, white bread, wheat, apple (cake), baker's yeast, honey. It tastes medium wheaty sour, with a fruity back (apple & banana), and light spicy bitter, a bit yeasty & bready. Dry, grassy hoppy finish, spicy & yeasty. Medium body, slick ('wheaty') texture, lively carbonation. Quite the enjoyable Witbier - that's saying something, methinks!
