Glazen Toren Ondineke Oilsjtersen Tripel
Ondineke is a classic tripel, brewed in the ancient way, again with exclusive natural ingredients: artesian water, malt (barley), hops, yeast and liquid candy sugar. As in the Saison no spices are added.
Ondineke is an unfiltered top fermenting beer. It is soft, creamy, and of golden color. It is double hopped with the last real hops available from the region of Aalst (The variety is Hallertau Mittelfrüh).
Ondineke has a positive taste evolution and the bottles are best kept standing in a cool, dark place. It is best before two years after the bottling date.
8.5 % alc.vol. makes this a beer to be savoured. Preferably Ondineke is to be served at a temperature between 6 to 10° C. Moreover Ondineke is at its best when served in the originally designed Glazen Toren glass.

75cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly hazy, amber gold, with a good amount of white foam, fine. Aroma is grainy, herbaceous, and a little honey. Body is a little dense, with average carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with decent underlying bitterness. Final has some more sweetness.
Bottle from Cobbett's, Dorking. Rich fruity aroma with a nutty marzipan core. Spice. Boozey streak. Bright gold. Opaque. Thick foamy white head. Initial sour citrus, quite tart. A bitter edge, which gains prominence. Sweetness and spice into the finish - these come to the fore as it warms up. Boozey warmth. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky mouthfeel. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent. Lovely warming stuff.

Pours unclear golden yellow with a big white head. Quite foamy. Settles as thin, lumpy, frothy layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet, fruity odors and an elusive boozy streak. Banana, peach and white sugar. Yeasty odor of musty, humid basement.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness with a sugary touch followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undercurrent. Finish is lightly boozy and semi-dry.
Quite solid Triple from the sweet side of the street.
0.75l bottle. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Aroma of yeast, apples, citrus, hay, quite fruity. Taste is fruity, yeasty, citrus, tart. Decent.

Barwa złota z lekką mgiełką. Piana biała, wysoka i trwała. Ładnie zdobi szkło.
W aromacie typowa "belgia" fenole, pieprz, przyprawy, estry które wnoszą białe owoce, drożdżowość i nuty słodowe.
Smak: przyjemnie słodka słodowość, nuty przyprawowe i owocowe, pieprz i winogrona. Trochę akcentów zbożowych, a na finiszu przyprawowa goryczka.
Wysycenie wysokie, nieco przeszkadza. Ciało średnie. Piwo ma odrobinę szorstką fakturę.

Barwa złoto żółta opalizująca, zmętnienie uwypukla słoneczną barwę tego piwa. Piana biała wysoka, zbudowana z drobnych pęcherzyków jest trwała. Choć nie ma krążkowania, ładnie oblepia szkło.
Aromat jest słodowy, drożdżowy, są nuty słodkie,owocowe, ziołowe, przyprawowe, jest pieprz, dalej akcenty ziemiste, piwniczne i wiejskie ale z zaznaczeniem, że nie dzikie.
Smak słodki gorzki jednak z wyraźnym i długim wytrawnym finiszem. Aromaty są teraz mocniejsze, jest więcej pieprzu, drożdży, czasem pojawia się drożdżowe ciasto.
Alkohol dobrze ułożony. Ciało raczej średnie, choć z uwagi na spore nagazowanie może wydawać się pełne. Tekstura gładka, miękka. Posmak długi slodowo drożdżowy, słodki i wytrawny.

Not sure the pairing was right but drinking this along with jambalaya makes a perfect pairing with the spicy and aromatic cajun seasoning. Pours hazy golden, firm white head, great lacing. The expected sugary and slightly funky aroma of fresh bread you want in a tripel is there, its sweet and peppery taste as well. Very smooth, creamy, rich of flavour. Excellent tripel! Happy new year!

A blond light opaque bubbly beer with a huge overwhelming white foamy omelet-like head ; great retention ; good lacing ! Herb, bread-biscuit-cereal, light alcohol, light citrus and plum ; sugary note. Light to medium DRY bitter refreshing, medium round sweet, light warmling, spicy note, annoying sugary character which makes the taste less intense. Medium body, silky texture, average gaseous, sugary round biscuit finish. Overall, enjoyable !
Raising the bar a bit as a second tasting with family while doing the cooking, a nice triple enjoyed by all.

Bottle @ Velootje, Gent. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Fruity (peach) and malty along with some hoppy notes. Medium bitter. Decent tripel.
Draft @ VanMoll, Eindhoven. Slightly hazy light golden, foamy white head. Sweet, gooey, herbal, a little funky, earthy, dry, medium bitter. Good body, lively carbonation.

Fles 75 cl. Helder vrij levendig bier met mooi schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig met iets van banaan en vanille.
Birra bionda ad alta fermentazione rifermentata in bottiglia, non filtrata. Triple dal gusto dolce e cremoso di malto con note finali leggermente amare, il suo gusto si evolve e matura nel tempo.

On tap @ Bergen Craft Beer Fest. Pours cloudy, pale yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is wooden yeast, with hay, farmyard, wooden brett and hoppy citrusy notes. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart yeast, with hay, wood, herbal notes and wooden brett, as well as hoppy citrusy notes.

0,75 flaske med papiromslag delt på (alltid like) hyggelig RBHD-treff hos Odd Gunnar mars-18: lett uklar solgylden med fint skum som varer. Brøddeig, gjær, overmodne appelsiner, nesler og visne urter. Ufrisk og usjarmerende. Eller er det min forkjølelse som spiller inn her?
Voici une belle triple, classique mais plutôt bien équilibrée, agréable et que l'on aime partager. Deux petits bémols tout de même avec un alcool que je ne trouve pas parfaitement intégré et une arrière bouche que je trouve trop brouillonne. En verre, le blond doré légèrement voilé et surmonté de 5 mm de mousse est sympathique. Le nez est sur le fruit (pomme, poire, banane), les céréales, la coriandre et avec un alcool donnant un peu de caractère. On retrouve ce fruité à la dégustation avec une attaque bien équilibrée à la fois doux sans s'affadir grâce à l'alcool. De fines épices et du miel accompagnent intelligemment le cocktail fruité. La deuxième bouche reste sur les mêmes arômes avec une amertume qui monte très légèrement. L'arrière bouche brouillonne est moins convaincante. La présence en bouche est néanmoins bonne. Le final est sur un petit élancement sur l'amertume avec des arômes pomme/poire, épices et toujours cet alcool permettant de relever l'ensemble. La longueur tout comme la corpulence est correcte. Plaisant.

Easy finish
Lekker tripel bier, heerlijke 75cl fles met wikkel , apart. Ben fan van dit soort biertjes van lokale brouwerijen, kwaliteitvol natuurlijk product. Gebrouwen met ambacht. Allicht wat zoeterig voor velen, doch ik hou ervan. Met 1 flesje heb je genoeg voor je avond.
