3.5 2018 Botlle pours black, medium carb. The usual bcbs profile, but the vanilla came off as artificial here. Not much in the way of creamy marshmallow banilla bean....but a thin extract like profile. Lacking where other stouts have hit the mark...and a far cry from the 2014 Vanilla Rye. Slightly disappointed as the barrel dominates this beer. Roast, char, caramel. Just ok.
3.8 Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with small light brown. Aroma is bourbon, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon. At $30 the price of admission is steep.
4.5 Bottle at home, 2018 ed - #2500 untappd checkin. Pitch black, slim beige foamy head. Vanilla loaded milky chocolate and milky coffee, white chocolate, butterscotch, praline, toffee, boozy bourbon, cinnamon, light-medium bitterness: very decent but not exceptionally balanced. Nice vanilla roasted malty boozy linger. Firm body, medium carbonation, sticky mouthfeel.
4.3 Pours a flat black color with a dark brown head, very pretty. Big rich expensive vanilla extract aroma that still keeps the BCS characteristics of bourbon barrel, sweetness and booze in the background. Big time vanilla taste, a little too much, this bottle is almost a year old I couldn't imagine what it was fresh. Boozy bourbon barrel finish. Good aftertaste, classic BCS mouthfeel. Very good, worthy of top 50, I just wish I had aged it longer.
4.4 Rocznik 2018 Ogrom wanilii i czekoladowego brownie, do tego kokos, palony słód, kawa. Dużo nieco ściągającej dębiny czerwone-ciemne owoce, lekka lukrecja. Słodkie, gęste, intensywne.
4.3 On tap at The Local Option, Chicago. Aroma is roasted, dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut. Taste is also roasted, licorice, coffee. Some burning alcohol feel but not unbalanced. Bittersweet. Amazing beer
3.5 Sweet woody chocolate and marshmallow. Deep dark brown with a small light brown head. Dark chocolate and light vanilla with raisin notes. Lots of this could be age.
4.6 Glass from my brother's bottle fron yesterday. Aroma: extreme nose of vanilla, lots of alcohol, some bourbon and chocolate. App: dark coca cola, no head, no lacing as expected. Taste and palate: full body, liquoreux but sweet, light bitter with big alcohol burning finish. Slight acidity too. Overall: soooo good! Love everything been in this beer especially the alcohol feeling in the nose and mouthfeel. So well done. Love it.
3.9 500ml bottle from the criminally underrated Home Run in Round Lake. Cellared 9 months, and shared with bananabi11. Very dark brown pour with a brown head. Aroma has thick and sweet malts, bourbon & vanilla. Taste is of sweet and thick malts, vanilla ... and more vanilla. This is sweet, and gets sweeter down the glass. Full bodied, with an alcohol presence, the blend is good. Finishes sweetly thick. This is really good, but sweet, and sweeter down through the glass. 14.8

4.1 Bottle from trade with Kevin. Pours black with beige head that disappears fairly quickly. Loads of vanilla, borderline skin lotion aroma with some cocoa, light coconut and also a bit of ash. Taste is rich with vanilla, chocolate, light booze and well integrated barrel tones. Dangerously drinkable. Good stuff!
4.7 This one's exceptional. Vanilla accents the chocolate, toffee, and molasses character really nicely. Tried with the parents and Jess at Extreme in 2019.
3.8 Taster showing pitch black center with sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of vanilla with light roasted malt. The palate is oily and thick with light carbonation. Vanilla forward with a strong roasted dark malt base and light flavors of toffee and marshmallow followed by a mild coffee bitterness. Light alcoholic spiciness.
4.1 Aromas of vanilla beans, vanilla extract, marshmallow, milkshake, chocolate, bourbon, oak, campfire ash, malted barley, roasted barley, aged wort syrup, raisins, plums, licorice and cocoa nibs. Pours black with no foam. Taste is chocolate, vanilla, oak, bourbon, vanilla beans, vanilla shake, roasted barley, corkscrew, sawdust, nougat, alcohol sugars, licorice, molasses, charred malts, campfire ash and cigar smoke. Overall, quite decadent and rich with exquisite vanilla overtones.

4.0 2018 bottle. Pours an opaque black with thin ring of bubbly tan head that leaves light lace, but viscosity slips down the glass nicely. Aroma of huge toasted marshmallow and coconut notes from the vanilla and bourbon playing off each other, chocolate, and deep roast. Taste is sweet vanilla and marshmallow, dark and milk chocolate, and a touch of booze and roast on the finish. A little sweet, but overall pretty damn tasty.

4.3 ⭐️Bourbon County Brand Vanilla Stout (2018)⭐️ Imperialny Stout z dodatkiem wanilii leżakowany w beczkach po bourbonie. https://untappd.com/b/goose-island-beer-co-bourbon-county-brand-vanilla-stout-2018/2789243 Alkohol: 14,9% obj. Data butelkowania: 05.09.2018 W aromacie nieprawdopodobna wanilia. Ciasteczka waniliowe, cukier puder, odrobina Kokosanek. Dużo nut bourbonu, mlecznej czekolady i mleka kondensowanego. W smaku waniliowa rozkosz. Ciasteczka waniliowe, lody waniliowe, cukier waniliowy. W tle odrobina przypraw z których najbardziej wyraźna staje się gałka muszkatołowa. Beczka po bourbonie intensywna, trwała i wyraźna. Masa ciała. Alko wyczuwalne, ale nie wychodzi przed szereg.
3.8 B2018. Dużo ten wanilii, ale takiej trochę sztucznej. No i przez to piwo męczy. Spory alkohol.
5.0 Tasted from 10 year old bottle. Pours black with slight dark brown head. Awesome complex aroma and taste. Nose of bourbon and vanilla. Thick and chewy mouthfeel. No boozy notes at all. Flavors of caramel, molasses, bourbon, cocoa, and nice vanilla but not overpowering. Hands down one of the best beers I’ve ever had.
