Goose Island Goose IPA

Goose Island Goose IPA

Bottle: Filtered

An English Style IPA, this beer opens with a fruity aroma set off by a dry malt middle and long hop finish.
Our India Pale Ale recalls a time when ales shipped from Britain to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result is a hop lover's dream with a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, and long hop finish.
Bourbon in colour and 59 in International Bitterness Unit, our IPA uses Pilgrim, Styrian Golding Celeia, Cascade and Centennial Hops.
We don't need to be the only beer you drink.
We just want to be the best beer you drink.

3.6 Keg (Scott’s Pub, Luxemburg). Clear amber color. Perfume, metallic, fruity, citrus, orange peel, fresh in aroma/taste.
3.3 Can 0.355l on board of airplane. Clear, deep gold colored. AROMA- fruity, peach, tropical fruit, citrusy, pine, floral and spicy hops. FLAVOR- neutral, bitter, quite fruity, spicy and floral hops. Medium bodied. Good.
1.9 16 oz can. From the can. Standard generic hoppy, bitter IPA taste. I don't taste much grapefruit. Nothing to see here, move along. Tick.
3.1 Tap. Unclear amber color with white head. Aroma is resinous, toasted malts. Taste is resinous, toasted malts, bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel with low caerbonation. Not bad.
3.5 # 2930; 5/2022. As Goose Island IPA. Nice aroma of tropical fruit, tangerine, herbs. Cloudy strew body, white head. Fruity, candy, lemon, grapefruite. Extremely fruity IPA. 0,33 l, can, supermarket, Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).
2.9 Dark yellow/orange pour. Aromas of citrus, gras and some hops. Similar of the taste with a bitter aftertaste. OK, but not mindblowing.
3.7 Ok beer, have had it from bottle before but had it on draft this time. Light scent, light color, it has an IPA taste but not strong. No real aftertaste which is good but also meant it didn’t have much of an initiative taste. Maybe a good summer IPA but just an ok beer for me
3.4 Pours almost clear gold blonde with white head. Medium aroma on citrus and grapefruit. Palate: bitter, grapefuit. Not so expressive as I would have liked. A bit tame.
2.6 Aroma : Light sweet caramel malt, very subtle citrus & strong piney hoppiness with a little grassy note. Taste : Body is on the light side of medium. Slight oily smoothness to the texture. Moderatly bitter hoppy bite throuhgout. Overiding flavour is a strong piney resinous with a tiny bit of sweet caramel malt underneath. O.K. but rather one dimensional IPA!
3.5 Light west coast style.
4.0 Bottle 0,355L. Clear orange/golden color with frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy and grassy with some citrusy notes. Taste is medium to heavy bitter, herbal, hoppy and grassy with long lasting bitter aftertaste. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, dry texture. A bit short on aroma, otherwise excellent IPA!
3.5 Buena nariz. Cítricos. Cuerpo medio y espuma fresca
3.4 From notes, rated @ friends place @ 2022-02-18 How: bottle. A bit chilled. BB 02APR22 Head: two fingers, white Colour: golden Aroma: citrus fruits, herbal notes, malts. Taste: thin to medium body, average carbonation, citrus fruits, herbal, malts. More on bitter side. Medium to long aftertaste like initial taste. Solid old school IPA, althougt a bit old& faded.
3.5 Fles gedronken tijdens vakantie met Tomhendriksen. Helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Aroma is hoppig. De smaak is hoppig en harsig en de nasmaak is iets bitter.
3.0 iets scherper dan ik dacht voor een IPA
3.6 Llauna Hopt. Aroma herbal i llupolat. Boca amb cereal, maltosa, punt cítric, dolça. Bona amargor. Cos mig. Bona
2.4 Boring
3.5 But hoppy
3.6 Pretty good
4.1 2021 330ml Can from Co-op, Guisborough and sampled in 2008, 2007, 2006 and 2003. Hazy golden coloured with a massive rocky head of white foam. It has a rich orange, pine and malty flavour with toffee, more orange and pine on the smooth, creamy finish. Excellent!
3.0 Nice IPA. Strong tasting on Perfect Draft
3.7 Bitter hoppy and tropical fruits. Citirc and dry finish. Rather high carbonation. Nice.
3.9 Crystal clear orange to dark-golden pour with white head, retaining fine. Aroma is clearly hoppy, grassy. Taste is bitter with a citric twist, and a lasting firm bitter aftertaste. Very strong carbo. This is a very nice typical American IPA; probably one of the standards.
1.0 Not an IPA. Might as well be drinking a Bud Light.
4.0 Fles 33cl thuis. Bitter, hoppig, grassig, citrus, tropisch fruit, malttonen, licht droog. (14-8-2021).
3.0 Gyllengul klar vätska med fingerstjockt vitt skum. Aromer av säd och blommig rabatt. Stabil men tunn maltbas som möter en rejäl och välbalanserad beska. Lätt värmande och törstsläckande.
3.3 Can thanks to Chris. Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma of overripe peaches, lychee, flowers. Taste is bitter with a dollop of lychee at the end. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not exactly refreshing or enticing, but quite drinkable.
3.6 Bonne bière mais assez brute et manque d’arôme
2.0 Vague… lagery…
