2.6[2/20/15] Draught at Gordon Biersch Mission Valley in San Diego. Clear golden. aroma of grainy with a faint noble hops hint. Sweetish flavor, grainy, with faint grassy hops bitterness. Quite light-bodied. Not great but pretty easy-drinking.
2.4Draft - Clear golden color, very pale. Grainy taste with a dry finish on the palate. Kinda has a peanut butter taste to it which I can’t explain how they did it.
3.3On tap @ Gordon Biersch San Jose. Clear golden pour with a white head. Kind of a bready and doughy malt profile to the aroma. A bunch of apple and floral hops. A lot of grassy and straw as well. Flavor is mostly sweet and malty forward. A lot of bready malts and biscuit dough. Sorta grassy and definitely an apple note to it as well. Odd vanilla character, but I kind of like it.
2.5Bottle from Coco Cove Market Waikiki 271214. Very grainy in aroma and flavour. Dirty socks and wet straw come to mind.
2.5Pours clear light gold with an average white head. Nose of corn and hops Light fizzy body. Herbal, grassy, corny, corn-nutty mid palate with a neutral finish. Not sure why they need the corn. Disappointing rendition of a helles.
3.1Golden pour with a nice white head. Grainy aroma with a bit of sweetness. Flavor matches. A little thin on the palate.
2.7Draught at Gorden Biersch in San Fransisco.
Lasting white head. Clear golden/ yellow color. Light malty aroma, and no impurities. Malty taste with some sweetness but very low bitterness.
2.0"an easy drinker no doubt, but that’s not enough to get a good rating. a little lacking in flavor...as much due to the style as GB brewing, but I’ve found many of their brews to be on the boring side."
2.7On tap at Gordon Biersch, Atlanta. Clear golden with white head. Smell is light grain and lager yeast. Taste is sweet light grain. Clean.

Served on tap in a pilsner glass
Appearance – Served a clear golden colored brew with a two finger pure white head of foam. The head faded slowly over time to leave a moderate level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew was slightly grainy with a moderately bready base. Along with these aromas were some lighter aromas of caramel and corn and a bit of grass.
Taste – The taste begins with a slightly grainy and bready taste along with a little bit of a corn malt flavor. As the taste advances some sweetness of a caramel nature comes to the tongue. Along with this, a grassy hop taste and a little bit of herb come to the tongue. With an increase in the grain, a decrease in the sweeter flavors and a little bit of a cracker flavor coming to the tongue at the end of the taste, one is left with a crisp and slightly drier malt flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the lighter side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that was on the slightly higher side. Both are rather nice for the style and make for a very easy drinking, crisp, and refreshing beer.
Overall – A decent lager with a very easy drinking taste and feel. Nothing outstanding but rather crisp and refreshing.
2.5On tap at Gordon Biersch, Buffalo, NY. A pale straw coloured lager; some grain, and litlle else. Inoffensive is perhaps the best description.
2.7Draft at CLE. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma of white pepper. Taste is bitter straw and lemon.
2.8Light beer usually tastes like dishwater, but this would be refreshing on a hot summer day.
2.0Not bad with a good crisp Batley note. I suspect it won’t get much better than this at the brewery taster flight. Tap.
3.0Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine on 5/4/14. Clear yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma of pilsner malt and crisp noble hops. Malty flavor with a crisp noble hop finish.
3.1Tap pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is corn, fruity, bread. Taste is wheat corn, sweet, cereal, earthy. Light body with a sweet finish.
2.8Draft. Light yellow with thin white head. Aroma of grains and light corn notes. Light body with very sweet corn notes upfront, grain, and a sweet finish. Too sweet for an export.
2.5Draft - Sweet grain, apple and grape. Pale yellow with little white head. Tastes as it smells with little going on but sweetness.
2.7On tap 4 oz. taster at Gordon Biersch in Rockville, MD.
Clear, pale yellow with no head and fair lacing.
Aroma of grain , caramel, corn, white bread, apple and lemon.
Taste of grain , lemon, caramel, white bread, apple and light honey.
Medium/light body and medium carbonation.
Nothing exciting here, but a bit more complex than most golden ales.
2.4Draft sampler pours golden with a white head . Aroma of malts, grass and grain. Taste is malts and grass.
2.0Sampled on draft at the Virginia Beach brewpub this beer poured a very pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweetish and a bit grainy with not a whole lot going on. The flavor was tangy and a bit grainy with a touch of bitterness and hints of brad and corn. Short tangy grainy and bready finish. Light body. Unimpressive.

S: Hay, Grassy, Mild Lemon
T: Hay, Mild Lemons, Mildly Grainy
M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Grainy, Mildly Watery
Overall, pretty weak on the flavor for a dortmunder.
2.5Golden. Little bubbling. No lasting head. Some fruity aromas. A.little.sweet like a hefe with some wheat malt and bubblegum. Overall very light like a light hefe.
2.6Tap in GB Broomfield. Pale gold, very light, touches of popcorn on nose and palate, dry, light fruity peppery finish.
3.5Nice, not so thick ad many goldens but neither too foamy. Some priming interesting and smooth.
2.5Draft. Pours very pale clear with a thin white head. Tastes light, like corn and rice, some musk. Not much flavor. Light body and low carbonation. Smells slightly musky and like grains.
