Gourmetbryggeriet Bock²

Gourmetbryggeriet Bock²

2.4 Bottle 50cl. Brown with no head. Malty/sweet aroma of toffee. Slight sweet taste with hints of spices. A bit boring for a bock style beer
2.6 Aroma: sweet berries and nuts. Flavour: sweet berries, nuts and slightly roasted malt. Colour: reddish brown with an offwhite head.
2.4 A light brown Double Bock with white head. Aroma is malty caramel. Vinous. Taste is sweet and with a light pearly bitterness.
2.6 Can. Small head. Dark red color. In aroma chocolate, caramel, alcohol and again, typical for this brewery, some strange metal smell. In flavor same as in aeoma but with notes of dried fruits. Ah: ok, but this could be much better.
2.6 canned version Pours intense, smooth, amber with beige, small top. On nose it comes weak for bock malty, caramely and some booze also. Taste is sweet, minimal bitter from yeast, quite dry finish, bit spicy, astringent on tongue, but not enjoyable one. More reminds strong pils, but with more caramel-sweetness.
3.5 rocky head, white foam, cloudy, brown, caramel, bread, herbs, leaves, soy sauce, medium sweetness, very bitter, medium sourness, full body, thick feel, average carbonation, astringent,
3.2 50 cl. can, shared. Clear, dark amber colour with a medium sized, frothy white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, nuts, bread and fruits. Some alcohol. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with caramel malts, nuts and a warming alcohol. Easily worth a flat tenner.
3.5 Really nice and full bodied buck. Nicely balanced bitterness against the heavier malt base.
3.1 Can, 50cl. Pours dark amber, rubyred with a moderate, creamy head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, clear alcohol and little light citrus as well. No hobs. Flavour is malty with caramel, vinous and sour middle. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and moderate carbonation. A bit of moderate bitterness in the decent finish. Goes very well with spiced, fat (fish) food or cheese.
3.1 It’s incredible how a craft brewery is able to handle and brew such near perfection when it comes to stronger beer types. Going through all kinds of different strongbeer from the mainstream breweries, it leaves you with not much besides disgust and despair. GM the Ghostbrewery at Harboe, here makes a clear mark on how to perfect alkohol in beer so it doesn’t shine through or otherwise drown the good ingredients. Superior malts are used here, and good ungrainy hops to disguise the strength. Beautiful, good tasting beer, of which you can drink plenty
3.1 Has a fresh smell of pine and wheat. The color is clear amber with a white head. Has a roasted flavor of burst sugar and pine.
2.8 500 ml can. 0.5 can. Clear amber with small white head. Aroma is sweet with nuts, lots of caramel, toffee, fruit and alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty, metallic, smoke, caramel, alcohol and faint liquorice.
2.8 50 cl can, 7.2% abv. Dark ruby colour, high carbonation with medium head that quickly settles. Nose is malty-sweet. Taste is very sweet with alcocol-heat and caramel, sticky oily mouthfeel. Not very interesting.
3.3 50 cl, dåse, 7,2 %, købt i Netto, 9. september 2013.
3.2 0.5 can. Small white head, disappears instantly, clear amber color. Nose is malty sweet; nuts, corn, loads of caramel, toffee, some fruitiness and an unfortunate alcoholic scent. Malty taste; caramel, little smoky notes, and indeed some vinous flavors in the background. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation. Finish is really malty, somewhat bitterer than the taste, resemblant of Belgian spiced ales, much more consummate. Pretty good beer, it is only spoiled by too much carbonation and slightly unbalanced taste.
3.8 Bottle at home. Nice sweet malty aroma, notes of bread, vinegar. Light brown clear color, small withe head. Medium to heavy sweet taste. I like Bock’s and this is nice!
3.3 Bottle. Pours clear amber/tea with quickly vanishing off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt combined with a slightly sourish, vinous note. Sweetish taste of malt and caramel completed by a sourish finish. Quite decent.
2.7 Bottled. Medium to full bodied, off-dry. Malty, buttery taste, butterscotch, alcohol. Rather decent. (2009-09-25)
2.1 Bottle. Amber clear. Small head strong body. Medium carmel notes. Fine ruins alcoholic dryness some bitter finish. An Easter like brew.
Viss beska i eftersmaken.
1.7 Tart aroma and taste of caramel malt and alcohol. Unpleasant bitterness in the finish. Disgusting beer!
2.8 Clear amber color with medium beige head. Aroma of caramel. Sweet caramel taste.
3.2 amber, clear, white foam, caramel, toast, roasty, full body, oily feel, heavy cloying sweetness, medium bitterness,
3.9 Bottle. Pours clear amber with small off-white head. Aroma is sour green apples, sweet malt, yeast and banana. Taste is fresh sour and light bitter. Palate is smooth and creamy with medium carbonation which gives a good freshness. Finish is dry bitterness with notes of roasted malt and nuts.
3.2 Bottle. Amber clear. Small head strong body. Medium carmel notes. Fine ruins alcoholic dryness some bitter finish. An Easter like brew. Rerated 29/12 courtesy Bolton. Caramaltyness rules. Fine balance.
3.7 27.08.2011. 0,5l Bottle. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Clear. Malty aroma with notes of malt sweetness. Very smooth beer. Moderate bitterness. Rather short aftertaste that leaves a fresh taste of malt and bitterness. I think this is a very good bock!
3.3 Bottle. Pours clear copper with a disappearing off-white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, malt, and a hint of dusty hops. Flavor is quite sweet malt, with some light fruit notes, balanced by some vaguely woody hops (a bit more than in the nose), and some noticeable alcohol. Not bad.
2.9 Bottle @ Home. Pours dark reddish brown with a big offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light hops. Taste is malty, caramel, light grassy hops, some alchohol. Medium body, soft carbonation. 030711
