3.9 Pours a copper color with a medium white head that left a lot of lacing around the glass. The aroma is malts, woody, earthy, dark fruits, raisin, and hops. The taste is very similar to the aroma. There is a little bit of bitterness and pine as well.
3.5 Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a deep amber color with a two finger head of thick just off white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading slowly to leave a good deal of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer big of a caramel and slightly bready smell mixed with a nice toffee sweetness. The overall aroma is on the sweeter side, but has some nice complimenting notes of a light earthy hop smell as well. Taste – The taste follows the nose rather nicely. It begins with a strong sweeter taste of caramel and toffee along with a little bit of a more bready and doughy taste. These flavors create the bulk flavor of the brew and last till the end, at which time they are joined by a hint of an earthy hop and a little bit of a fruity flavor, leaving a sweet and more sugary flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather average. A little thicker of a body may have been slightly better overall, but all in all, for the relative sweetness of the brew, the feel was decent. Overall –A rather sweet, but tasty amber. Well worth a try if in the mood for something a bit on the sweeter side.
1.0 335ml bottle Purchased form Binny’s Lincoln Park. It’s a gusher, an extreme one. Huge head obviously, looks real soapy. The smell isn’t the worst, sweet pears, earthiness. Flavor is sligthly balsamicy and earthy, some marmite. Assuming this is an infection of some sort.
3.3 Decent aromas and flavors of caramel malt, bread, nuts and a hint of bitter hops. Pours amber color with a small khaki head. Thin-medium body. Pretty good beer.

Pretty decent session ale. Chug chug chug!

3.0 Bottle. Dark red pour with little head. Goes down okay, but taste need improvement. Very malty. Might be a good beer to have as a complimentary item to a nice piece of red meat, but not a good stand alone beer.

4.0 Appearance: less than 1" cream colored head recedes slowly, very light lacing. Color is a very cloudy amber with much sediment in suspension. Some carbonation bubbles present. 3.3 Hardly any head, some carbonation and a nice deep reddish amber color. Thin bodied. There is some maltiness at first but the finish is on the hoppy side. The Fat Tire Amber Ale is much better.

3.7 A finger of head on a cloud, dark straw colored body. The aroma is fresh milled grain and orange. The taste is mild malt sweetness with a touch of lemon bitterness. 2.7 12 oz bottle thanks to Ben & Marti: Dark copper with a medium sized tan head. mellow aroma, slight floral hops, caramel malt and bready yeast. Taste is deep caramel malt and really good and easy to drink. Nothing abnormal. Fizzy, slightly bitter but balanced.
2.7 Caramel, bready malt aroma and flavor. Smells a little "dusty" maybe? Strong caramel; pretty sweet, but not too over-the-top. Moderate bitterness. A little hop flavor -- not much. Bottled date: 06/26/12; Drank 10/8/12
3.2 12 oz. bottle from a mixed 12 pack brought home from Wyoming by my parents. Thanks, mom and dad! This one pours a mostly clear amber with a small but long-lasting creamy tan head. The aroma is mellow, but delivers notes of caramel malts, brown sugar, dried leaves, nuts, and sugar smacks cereal. The flavor hits most of the same notes, but with more pop. Light-bodied, with a sweet, malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Not a bad amber ale.
3.7 Pours copper brown with almost no head and no lacing. Smells of barley. Tastes mostly of malts and has a clean finish. A really good beer.

2.9 Bottle. Clear amber pour with a smaller white head. Caramel on the nose. Taste also has a bit of a hop kicker.
