3.7 Colore giallo paglierino, opalescente, schiuma media poco persistente. Aromi di malto, miele, fiori bianchi. Al palato malto, miele, crosta di pane. Gusto mediamente dolce. La bevuta è un pò corta. Una birra molto pulita e ben equilibrata, l'alcol si sente solo alla fine.
4.1 Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 1/30/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, white grape, coriander, peppercorn, light banana/bubblegum/clove, wheat, cracker, spicy rye, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruit/spicy yeast, coriander, orange peel, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, white grape, coriander, peppercorn, light banana/bubblegum/clove, wheat, cracker, spicy rye, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast/rye spiciness; herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and slight wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, white grape, coriander, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, spicy rye, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit/spicy yeast, coriander, orange peel, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly crisp/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8.3%. Overall this is an awesome Tripel. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit/spicy yeast, coriander, orange peel, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish; great soft feel. Perfectly balanced Belgian yeast complexity, spices, and pale/oat/wheat/rye malts. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Obviously not traditional to the style, but it hits all of the right character you would expect. Really big fan.
3.9 On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom. Pours a cloudy orange yellow, healthy head of foam, nice job with the lacing. Big nose of esters, cloves, coriander, some bitter notes. Taste is pretty spot on. Cloves, coriander, citrus zest, very tasty. Fairly light bodied with adequate carbonation. Super fresh Tripel that should please fans of the style.
3.5 Sweet, yeasty, lightly spiced, mild but very good
3.5 Smells of belgian yeast, barley and spices. Golden yellow and hazy. Taste is coriander, more spices than the smell, yeast, candied sugar, and oranges.
3.6 On tap at Spitfire pizza. Hazy light golden . Lots of Belgian yeast character. Golden slightly sweet malts and a fair bit of fresh citrusy hop. Decent Belgian but not sure it’s a tripel
3.7 12 oz. can. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma was orange, coriander, yeast. Taste was mild sweet, orange, yeast, spice, coriander.
3.6 Pours hazy gold, massive white head and suspended particulate. Lemon, clove, yeasty aroma, wet hay. Spice throughout, lemon and orange, celery.
3.5 Spicy yeast notes, a lot of clove specifically, grainy undertone, not overly sweet. Alcohol is well hidden. Not the best of the style but a solid beer certainly.
3.5 This is on tap at Wexford pub. Nice light golden color, frothy head that fades quicklt. Taste good and typical with a bit of sweetness. Picked up a firm yeast fragrance that was just a bit off.
3.5 12floz can, COD: 12.27.2017, $1.75 unit cost, tulip glass. This ale is hazy gold with a soft, tight white head. The nose is one part floral and one part barnyard. Pretty good take on the tripel style as it continues to be mostly floral in flavor (I have to really stretch my imagination to taste orange peel). Heavy in body too, which typical for the style.
3.4 355 ml can. Canned on 23.12.2016. Pours clear pale golden color with a large white head. Lemony and somewhat wheat-y aroma, some yeast and spices, mostly coriander, floral, slightly herbal too. Flavor has spices and belgian yeast, some citric fruitiness, mild toffee, very faint hops. Some refreshing qualities here even though the alcohol peaks through at the end. Decent. 3334

3.4 $2.00 can from Beer Run. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is yeast, coriander, wheat, dust. Flavor is banana, wheat, coriander, yeast, grass, light lemon, bread, light gum, minor booze. Interesting... is this an imperial hefeweizen more than a tripel?
3.5 12 oz. can. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a very creamy one-finger white head. Heavy carbonation. Subdued aroma of banana notes, wheat, yeast, spice. Taste is wheat. coriander, faint orange zest, sweet fruit, spice, yeast, and white pepper. Not quite a traditional Belgian tripel, but good nevertheless.
3.4 From the 355 ml. can dated Jan 5, 2017. Hazy orange-yellow pour with lingering white head. The aroma has some banana, clove, toast, and white grape notes but also a strange vegetable mash thing. That may be due to its age. The body is light and smooth. The taste is slight improvement in which the clove, herbal, toast, and grape notes are more prominent. Finishes rather clean.
3.9 Sampled on draft this beer poured a cloudy vibrant yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweetish and yeasty with notes of bubblegum and faint perfume. The flavor was sweetish and yeasty with bubblegum and golden fruits. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done.
3.6 Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a semi-hazy/cloudy burnt orange color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Mild strewn about lacing wove around the glass nicely. The aroma had sweet estery banana up front but evens out with some white pepper, coriander, lemon and orange peel and some sweet graininess. The flavor blends fully the prior noted aromas sweetly and spicy. Graininess smooths into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. Belgian throaty grip feels adequate. ABV feels not quite as high as suggested, but good. Overall, good tripel for the most part even if the banana seems a bit more pronounced. I’d still have again.
3.4 Pretty solid tripel style. Lots of spice, citrus, coriander, and rye. Pretty boozy. Sipper. Solid like most GD
3.4 Nice and strong, and it has a decent flavor. Something is just missing, in the end.
3.1 Sample at Jack Browns. Yellow with thin head. Light aroma of grassy peach. Very grassy flavor. Bitter.
3.4 Can at home... Golden amber... Big white head.. Soft sweet vanilla yeast nose... Soft sweet bready yeasty fruits.. Long salty bready fruits
3.4 Can, Brewdog online. Light yellowy colour, hazy, white disappearing foam. Spicy and fruity, lemon and coriander and some yeastiness. Drinks super easy for abv. Not that dry for a Belgian ale and lacking hop bitterness, finishes a bit flabby and sweet for me. Overall nice but not perfect.
3.9 cloudy yellow amber like a wheatbeer, pure white head with lacing but dissipates as it warms..tastes spice, peppery, lemony, citrusy and slightly apple as well, lght to medium body, slick and watery..lots of burn for 8 percent but could be due to the spiciness as well overall good refreshing and tasty but really not my style
3.4 Can. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized creamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is citrus, some spices, mild yeast as well as some sweet malts. Flavour is sweet malts, spices, yeast, some citrus as well as some herbal notes.
3.4 28th August 2016 Can. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth and softish palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft and creamy sweet malts. Tangy sweet fruits and floralness. Sweetish esters. Smooth finish. Smooth and sweet then, but quite drinkable.
4.0 Cloudy appearance. Golden color. Thick, frothy white head that presents cobweb lacing. Reminds me somewhat of a pale lager aroma. Some orange. Some grainy aromas. Very light for such a high alcohol beer. Leaves a slight creaminess on the palate. Little bit of vanilla. Low carbonation. Finish is light and abrupt. Wheat seems to dominate the taste. This is a easy drinking beer. Be careful as it will bite later.
4.0 355ml can from Brewdog.com. Pours a murky deep yellow, good white head. Aroma is spicy sweet citrus. Taste is confidently spicy with the creamy body of a triple. Very good.
3.6 Can from brewdog online shop. Hazy light gold color. Thin persistent white head. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Aroma is citric, yeast, hops, spices.
3.5 Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, citrus.
