Great Divide Titan IPA

Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

3.0 Fruity flavors that are completely overwhelmed by a strong bitter fluid. Very bitter very strong and very dominating. A bit too much of a good thing.
3.5 Tropisk doft. Uttalad beska. Torr. Sträv.
3.4 3 finger frothy, sturdy off-white head. Small bits of lacing here and there. Clear, metallic golden to amber coloured beer. Aroma of sharp lemon peels, apricot, clementine, slight caramel and then a lightly metallic note. Taste of grapefruit, boozy lemon, hint of dishcloth, apricot and bready malts. Somewhat weak in flavour but still a delicious profile. Mouthfeel is smooth and oily with an creeping medium bitterness. Medium-low carbonation. Drinks easily but hardly even feels light or watery. Overall: I'm pretty sure I've rated this before but the review is nowhere to be found. A solid, very pleasant WC-IPA but stuff like this just falls short today because of the bombardment of IPA in general but also because nowadays it's a game of 'who can hop the most?'. It's very enjoyable though and makes me think of days when this would've been a slapper of a beer.

3.0 35.5cl blik. Helder oranje van kleur, fijne romige witte schuimkraag. De geur is perzik en karamel. Smaak is zoet, perzik, karamel en grapefruit. Medium body en veel koolzuur.
3.8 Can from Beer Republic. Loads of piney hop, pleasantly bitter, some citrus. Really solid IPA.
4.0 12 fl oz can. Appearance is a cloudy deep bronze, topped with a generous one and a half fingers of white froth with moderate retention. Aroma is citrus hoppy for a start, followed by more floral and pine hop notes, and caramel malts. Taste is similar, very robust start with a burst of sweet citrus, then it gets a deep intense bitter with piney notes, over a full dose of sweet caramel malty flavours. Medium bodied, very c
3.9 Keg at The Oregon Brewers Festival, Portland, OR on 25/07/2008. Very tasty, crisp and well buttered IPA, with lots of grapefruit and piney notes.
3.6 Canned 0,355L. Dark orange color, hazy aspect, sediments, medium white head of long resistance. Intence fruity and hoppy aroma, notes of pale malt, citrus, alcohol, moisted hop. Long sweet/bitter palate, intence hoppy and fraught alcoholic impression.
3.9 Can. Pours orangey with cakey head. Aroma is honey, dank hops. Piney sappy, nutty, malty, grapefruit taste. Long dusty bitterness lasts. Like a hoppier British IPA. Nice.
3.5 Dunkles Gelb bis Braun, im Geruch und Geschmack kräuterig herb herzig, nicht schlecht aber auch nicht der ganz große Wurf
3.2 12oz Flasche. Bernsteinfarben und klar. Cremig-feiner Schaum. Hopfen und Harz Duft. Antrunk enttäuscht mich doch. Etwas Karamell und Harz. Weich. Feine Noten, aber unspektakulär.

3.5 Pretty standard IPA found in Boulder. Hoppy clean finish, no unique flavors.
3.7 Can 355ml. Clear dark amber with a white creamy head. Malty aroma with some pine notes. Firm bitter taste with a malty backbone. This is a very bitter beer, not for the fainted hearted. Long long bitter finish.
3.8 Pours a clear amber with nice head. Caramel aroma with a bit of pine. Taste is bitter and has a bit of caramel and citrus to make this a tasty IPA.The finish is typical IPA with a bold bitterness. Long bitter finish.
