3.3 Shared 12 oz. can. Pours pale gold and clear with a white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, pine. Moderately bitter finish.
3.6 Aroma: citrusy with some breadiness; Appearance: clear yellow pour with thin white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: lightly hoppy with some cereal and slight maltiness; Palate: light bodied with long, lightly bitter finish; Overall: good sessionable ipa; would get again.
3.7 Straw yellow, tons of carbonation. Slushy head on top; not a ton of the lace. Aroma is really pleasant: not sure what hops they use but it’s a little grapey. A touch of citrus. Really nice in the ol’ nasal cavity. The flavor is very salty, surprisingly so. Almost as if they dropped a bunch of sea salt into a beer. Not salty like a Gose. Other than that, it’s a lot of pale ale business. Salty-ass finish!
3.6 On tap at Green Flash Mira Mesa. Clear yellow with a small white head. Soft with hops, citrus, juice and light malt. Relaxed and easy to drink. A pleasant one.
3.2 Clear golden coloured body with a nice, relatively thin, two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of bright grassy and citric hops with some light sugars from caster sugar and some light fruit. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and citrus notes up front with a light bit of the dry bitterness showing through. Aftertaste shows some mellow funk, a bit of earth, some caramel and a touch of yeast resident. Over all, a decent beer for sipping and drinking while other beers are around - but very light and fresh tasting overall. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Gainesville, Virginia on 14-May-2016 for US$1,95 sampled at home in Washington on 26-January-2017.
3.5 12 fl oz can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, toasted, light estery. Fruity. Citrusy and lingering estery fruity. Dry and crisp citrusy finish.
3.7 Can. A yellow beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, juice, hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.
3.3 33 cl. can. Clear yellow colour with a nice white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, fruit, citrus, malt and bitterness.
3.6 [Can (12oz)] Pours a slightly hazy gold with an average size lasting fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus hops, tropical fruit, grain and bready malt. Citrus hop flavour (7+) along with tropical fruit and grain in the back and along, big bitter finish. Average bodied. A tasty and easy to drink Session IPA.
1.9 Light aroma, light yellow in color with no real cloudiness. Light bitterness on the start getting more bitter at the end.
3.1 Can stamped BB2/5/17 so assumed ~3 months old; into a stemless wine glass. A: Poured a small quickly falling head on a pale gold body with a few bubbles seen. S: Citrusy scent of lemon and faint cracker malt. T: Sharply bitter pith. Both lemon and grapefruit. Pine and a little dry white bread turn up later. M: Lively carbonation and light thin body. Resinous though still fairly dry finish O: Pretty good overall but not exceptional. Expensive to boot means won’t be a regular purchase. Good effort though for 4.0%.
2.4 The aroma of grass, flowers and fruitiness. The taste is bitter and fruity. Much bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. No further good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
3.2 Draught at Bishops Arms Gustav. Clear golden colored with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hops and grass with nores of caramel. Fruity flavor of hops, grass and grapefruits. Dry hoppy finish.
3.2 Pours a clear straw golden color with white head. Citrus, pine, grass, decent resinous tones for a session IPA; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with plenty of hop flavor. Not bad.
3.5 Poured from can...great hop nose...great flavor for a 4%...citrusy good balance piney finish..another solid flash beer.
3.5 355 ml can. Pours clear pale golden color with a large white head. Pineapple and mandarin on the nose, pleasant hops, piney. Flavor is mandarin and mild grapefruits, hoppy bitter, subtle resin notes. Fruity, quaffable, good but nothing special. 3514
3.8 Can from Rehills, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with a sweet tropical fruit and citrus flavour followed by a smooth malty, toffee, pine and citrus finish. Excellent for the low ABV.
3.1 Can from Kroger. Pours way too pale gold with a small white head. Heavy citrus aroma - grapefruit and lemon as well as pine and mango. Taste is very light, but tingly. Lemon Zest, grass, pine.
3.6 Can from BrewDog online shop. Drunk at home on my own, way too late. I should be in bed. Straw colour and very clear. Loads of visible carbonation. Massive hop aroma, with lychee and grapefruit. This has a gorgeous hop bill. Tastes mildly bitter heading to a slightly stronger bitter in the finish. Pretty thin body. More lychee in the aftertaste. Very tame but still incredibly enjoyable.
3.4 Pours a rich straw, thick but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is full for a session....citrus, pine, celery. Crisp, very fresh on the tongue. Typical session qualities, subdued pine, acidic fruit. Crushable.
3.4 Can at home. Pours clear pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of peach and pine. Taste is light bitter, more peach. A bit thin. Clean finish.
3.5 33cl can from beermerchants. Light gold color. Thin white head. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter. Medium crispy body. Aroma is pinneapple, blueberries, piney, peach, citric, light pepper.
4.4 An excellent session beer. Light and easy but plenty of juicy hops to keep it from being dull.
3.5 On draft. Clear gold color, with a white head. Citrus, bitter, some tropical fruit, mildly resinous hops, light grain, and a somewhat watery. Light yes, but a pretty good "session" IPA
3.5 Can from Tilt enjoyed at home; hazy golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has subdued hop aroma, taste has tangerine, hint of pine, light grapefruit, I’m not committing to any taste as everything is a bit light.
3.4 Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving gloppy lacing. Sweet tropical fruit and resin aromas. Dry with dirty hay and marshmallow upfront turning to dusty resin and pith in the lasting finish.
3.1 Aroma: pine and resin, some herbal notes. Appearance: clear golden color and white head. Taste: medium herbal bitterness, pine, weak citrus notes, stalky, quite dry. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Only average session IPA, quite stalky.
2.9 Can/Fest. A- Pine, citrus. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Pine, citrus, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, piney finish. O- Okay, a bit strong and aggressive for a session though.
3.7 12oz can pours with a near clear gold body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up tangerine, mango, a bit of pineapple and some grassy hoppiness and then a faint slightly off putting caramel like sensation well off in the background. The taste delivers a pleasing degree of bitter hops that have a citrusy grapefruit and tangerine bite. It then picks up a malty cracker sensation just as the hops attain a thin citrus juiciness. Pretty solid session IPA.
