3.5From a 22 oz bottle. Pours copper amber translucent with nice carbonation and 3/4" head. Citrus nose, sweet hoppy smell, and a tad of coriander? Claims to be a marriage of a trippel and an IPA. First taste is of white peppercorn. Complex taste with a clean finish and a tad spicy. A solid performer, but not a drink all day beer.
3.5EBF Boston 2017. Un classique par le nombre de ratings. Une robe dorée orangée. Une bière avec des saveurs de fruits, de houblon, caramel léger. Une bouche agréable de IPA moderne avec des agrumes et de la résine sur une base de levure belge avec des épices.
4.210oz draft. I am not normally a fan of Belgian beers, nor am I a big fan of high-alcohol IPA’s, but this went down very nicely. The spice was subtle, as was the alcohol. Highly recommended.
4.122oz bottle bought at De Bierkoning, Amsterdam and poured into a snifter at home on 04-Mar-2017. Hazy golden amber with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of honey, malt, tropical fruit, orange and spices. Light bitterness with a bittersweet fruity and alcoholic finish. A pretty good Belgian style IPA.
3.8Tight, fluffy near white head stayed well on a clear golden, still body.
Tropical fruit & orange aroma.
Medium body, sharp, tingly & clean on the back. Dry on the aft.
Bitter citrus, pine, tropical fruits, pith, mango, orange & the Belgian yeast is definitely knocking about.

3.5tap offering from the republic golden pour with off white frothy head citrus and carmel aroma flavor follows suit.
4.0Super cloudy orange pour. Nice off white head that lasts and leaves nice nice lacing. Aroma is candied orange, citrus, caramel, a little estery peppery notes. Taste is a bit more caramel than on the nose, with the citrus, orange, peppery notes. Very good beer.
3.5Aroma of Belgian yeast, orange, clove. Appearance is a burnt orange with a finger of head that retains well. Big jags of lacing. Taste is orange, pepper, caramel, minerals, flowers. Palate is medium bodied with a dry bitter finish. With above average carbonation. Overall- pretty tasty
3.9On tap at Tuman’s. Pours light copper. Nice balance of sweetness and breadiness with a solid amount of hops without being overbearing or astringent. I don’t like APA’s but I took a gamble on this one and am glad I did.
3.8Tap, The Beer Grotto, Ann Arbor, MI. Medium gold. Yeast and caramel aroma. Sweet. Smooth. Nutty butterscotch finish.
3.4Bottle, Pours amber golden with medium head. Smell of light fruit, pine, and candy sugar. Finishes too ashy and bitter for its own good. Lost points for that and the average aroma.
4.0Aroma:
Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, yeast, orange, bread, hops, citrus and spices.
Appearance:
Turbid golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a medium/large off-white head.
Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, yeast and orange; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, hops, citrus and spices.
Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. The Belgian Triple is less noticeable than the Imperial IPA, but adds an almost Saison dryness. Amazing all-over with almost no flaws; it could have been more fruity, but that is it.

5.0In the quest to find the most epic IPA you will eventually find your way to Green Flash Le Freak and discover that you have reached the pinnacle (for now). This is the most creative modern evolution of the IPA and the the Belgian Tripel and the marriage is a thing of remarkable beauty and pleasure. And the flavors complement each other in a magical way. But it’s not for the ordinary beer lover. This is for the aficionados. It is completely unique-Nothing else like it!
3.6650ml bottle shared with friends. Pale orange with a medium white soapy head. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Well balanced sweet and bitter tones. Citrus, tangerine, pine, caramel and malts. Tasty.
4.0Bottle to glass - Pours golden, minimal white head. Aroma is great, dark, funky apples, some cinnamon/clove/coriander spiciness, belgian yeast galore. Very inviting. Crisp on the tongue with a hint of pepper as it unloads with more spiciness, earthy fruits and hay. Pretty big.
3.9Aroma is citrus, clove, caramel, passion fruit, apricot, lemongrass and slight notes of dark fruits . Taste is sweet malts, honey and candy sugar that is paired with a nice deep yet balanced hop profile that is clove, citrus, lemon grass and a slight earthiness. Appearance is a slightly hazy gold with a medium pearl head that retains fairly well.

3.8It pours golden with an off white moderately high head. Head retention is fairly good Overall it has good clarity and Belgian Lace. It has aromas of grass, some clove, floral, yeast, toasted, and grain. The initial flavors are sweet. There are flavors of spice, clove, low fruit, flora citrus, yeast, toast, and grain. It has a moderate body with a medium dry finish and lingering bitterness. It has moderately high carbonation. Overall, this is a beer that is hop forward with complimentary background malts and yeast the balances the final product well.

3.9On tap at the Monte Carlo Pub (Las Vegas, NV). Slightly hazy, dark gold/amber body with an average, lasting, white foamy/creamy head. Strong malty/hoppy aroma with honeyish hints. Its robust, complex malty/hoppy taste carries orange, coriander, and woody notes. Ends with a long, warming, bittersweet finish. Very enjoyable.
4.1Pleasant Belgian with a lemony, pepper palate. Quite refreshing with some hits of nuts. This is a good one to sip by the campfire.
3.9Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, with a nice hop bite to it.
