3.4Greene King IPA Export has a thin-to-medium off-white head, some lacing left on the glass, noticeable bubble streams, and a rather murky, amber-brown appearance. The aroma is of rich, sweet, brown bread crust, yeast, caramel candy, and hop resin. Taste is the same, with some mellow bitterness and a fairly odd earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium and a bit chewy, and Greene King IPA Export finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and interesting. RJT
3.0Belle couleur brune dorée; arômes et goût intéressant mais trop discrets; un peu de malt et de houblon; finale légèrement amère; une bonne bière sans plus,
3.0Appearance with copper color and low head.
Medium Aroma: caramel, aged wood and burnt sugar.
In the mouth, it is a lightweight IPA without much personality, the caramel is more evident than the hops.
But it was worth the tasting.
2.2Clear dark orange body with a thin white head. Nose is mild with notes of hay, caramel and caramel. Taste is mildly sweet with a short dry finish. Carbonation is average and thexpalate neutral. Very bland and quite boring.
2.750cl bottle at Feel good music cafe, Tartu. Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Caramely aroma with malty notes and lightly hoppy. Hints of mild citrus and fruits. Medium sweet with a bitterness on the lighter side. Weak in flavour and fairly boring, but drinkable enough.
3.3Deep copper color, medium head. Aroma of caramel, malt, coffee, nuts, hops and wood. Taste is similar, dry with with subtle notes of chocolate in lightly bitter hoppy finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Doesn’t taste like a typical IPA, but nod bad beer.
2.4Clear amber, creamy head
Caramel, honey,
Sweet, nothing, bitter finish, lightly astringent
Caramelized malts, a hint of hops, grass
3.0Pours copper-brown and clear with a finger head. Aroma has strong toffee and nuts. Weaker aromas has fruits. All in all, aroma is a little dull. Taste is very buttery and nutty. It also has little fruits and little sweetness. Palate is quite thin, bitterness is quite mild and palate is all in all very sweet. This was little dissapointment, very nutty (as brittish beers often), but very buttery and little mild.
2.60,5 bottle with an interesting design. Dark red amber in the glass, small beige head. Looks good. Musty malty in the nose. Starts dry malty, light coffee, citrus hints in the background. In the middle the citrus gets shortly the overhand, followed again by the coffee. Low hop herb. Dry and flat to the end. Not an IPA as expected.
3.5Maybe not directly an IPA, but a rich and good ale with many pleasant malt flavors laced with balanced bitterness.
2.7Not as typical IPA as I was expecting. Quite boring and flavourless. Some ok hops but not even close to a IPA on my standard
2.9(Bottle) Brownish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of crisp-bread, dried apricots, treacle toffee, nuts and dusty hops. Malty taste with rye bread, dried apricots, orange peel, honey, a slightly syrupy malt character and dusty hops in finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Decent but hardly exciting.
2.2je moet in Tallinn zijn om een Britse IPA te proeven.. Aanvankelijk fris, maar afdronk is zéér kort. ok voor 5% alcohol ben je met dit nog beter af als een normale pint, maar kan toch beter.
2.633cl bottle from Auchan (Luxembourg). A real deception... Waiting for an IPA and I got a flavourless beer. Start bitter and ends rapidly to an empty, void of flavour.
3.0Bottle. Clear amber colour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is mild hoppy, dry and dry fruits notes, mainly nuts. Flavor is light toasty with a slightly bitterness and nutty hints.
3.1Rich toffee color. Lasting white head. Nutty bland bitter malty aroma. English for sure. Lots of flavor and bitterness. Finish is slightly gummy amd malty.
3.050 cL clear bottle. Light spiced and herbal. Toasted malty and crisp bitter. light fruity. Bitter and citrusy. Dry, toasted malty and light fruity. Toasted dry bitter finish.
2.9Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Dry, nutty aroma. Medium body, again nutty with a solid finish of spicy British hops. 060413
2.8Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 060413
3.0Bottle, 5%. Clear amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted and hop. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.
3.2Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are are malt, grass, fruits and hops.
1.7Bottle from Yamaya. On sale. I’d heard about this beer so wanted to check it out but what a colossal disappointment. It looks like an IPA but then smells super grassy like a lame lager. The taste is again ovverpoweringly grass & hay with a bit of malt sweetness and a touch of hops. In no way is this what a North American expects from an IPA. Probably the worst IPA I’ve had...
2.5cereal, brown, clear, minimal head, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, not a lot to reccomend
2.2Bottle in Geneva at PSingh’s pre-wedding alcohol tasting session. Oh no, an export version! Same dismal dishwater skunky malt feel as the basic version, the extra alcohol making little discernable difference. I’m not a Greene King fan and this one is no exception.
2.7Nötig, maltig. Lite spretig i smaken. Engelsk ale i stilen. Ingen favorit direkt
2.3500 ml bottle. Aroma malty and metallic, very peculiar aroma. Taste is about the same, bitterness is high.
2.8500ml bottle.
Pours a medium amber, with a thin white head.
Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2.
Malty, spicy taste, light roast, caramel, butterscotch, faintly oxidized hop notes, citrus, dried fruits. Feels a bit tired. (2012-12-26)

Trotz der 5% Alk. eher ein leichtes Ale mit herb-malzigem Einschlag. Das Finish ist typisch herb für ein Ale; good stuff!

2.0Reddish with a nice head with a good lacing. Interesting (and unexpected) smell of malt, sugar and caramel. Very sweet smell, almost no hop-aromas (and if there are hop-aromas, they are rather skunky/umami). Quite low bitterness for an IPA, making it a bit boring. Again very malty flavour and sweet....i didnt like it.
