3.3First beer from the great state of Rhode Island. Drinks boozy and piney like a shot of gin. Lingering wood and lead. A little bit of warming sensation.
3.6Shared 12 oz. can poured to a snifter showing a fairly clear, yellow/gold color, a presentable layer of white froth, with spots & spray as lacing. The nose was dank, lemony, earthy, with leafy greenery. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste was similar, adding noticeable alcohol, and a lingering, earthy & rind-like bitterness. Solid DIPA, and nice can art.
3.412oz can. Pours a hazy yellow with a big persistent frothy white head. Big grapefruit scents. Taste is very juicy with a sharp hop sour biting finish that is very long. Some alcohol but pretty nicely balanced. A good IIPA.
1.9Oh wow another ipa, what else is new? Nothing to write home about, it’s one of those beers the sheep drink because everyone else is drinking it. It’s not bad, just not great.

3.8Draught: This one pours a fairly opaque golden color. There was a thin white head and some lacing. Good nose. Mainly pineapple and citrus hops. The taste is good. Somewhat bitter. Pineapple and citrus hop flavors are dominate.
3.7Sixteen ounce glass on tap, the only way to really taste this beer. I can not imagine this beer being confined to, and packaged in a can, or a bottle for that matter. This is a beer to drink on tap. I am sure that this will be the best I.P.A. that I will have this summer. The taste is good, but not really distinct. What is extraordinary about this beer is the full mouthfeel, the palate, it's thickness, especially for an I.P.A. A foamy head that stays around. At 8.5, whay a nice kick.
4.2LCI. From the tap @AsIsNYC. Beautiful DIPA, lots of fruit in the nose and a wonderful bitterness, fruit and hop in the flavour. And still easy to drink.
4.2I did not expect a juice bomb like this is. Oh man, captain's daughter is full of character and flavor. A bold beer, you better prepare yourself.

2.9Originally rated using the RateBeer application on my phone. For some reason errors erased my notes and made it a tick. I no longer have the reference notes.
3.8Smelled like pint hops, dark fruit, and booze. Taste was quite bitter up front and lingered for a bit. There was a very subtle sweetness in there as well. I almost want to say it tasted like sweet bread or honey

4.0Pale with thin lacing - recommended
3.4Initial reaction is hoppy but with off tones of musk, bitterness, little citrus or floral. Minimal malt overtones, a different taste, not one of my favorites.
3.912oz can. 10/30/17 can date. Appearance: Hazy Light golden, with a thick pillowy white head and nice lacing.
Aroma: Citrus burst of Orange and tropical mango hop notes dominate
Taste: Starts with a rich juicy citrus sweetnessthat remains smooth with little resin or grassy hop notes. Ends with a slow building moderate perceived bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium to heavy bodied for the style, with a touch of creaminess, and a moderate carbonation. A bit of alcohol heat too.
Finish: sharp bitterness builds after the swallow and lingers, with some resinous flavor
Overall: A solid take on NEIPA, and at 60+ days old probably not the best representation of the beer when fresh. Beautiful appearance, great orange and mango aroma, and a smooth juicy flavor that balances the bitterness. Remarkably easy for a beer of this strength, though the alcohol heat provides a kick on the finish
4.5Draft from Whole Foods PM. If this one was from Maine, Vermont, or Richmond, it's average rating would be half a point higher. Turbid gold pour with white head. New England nose, pineapple, golden melon, grapefruit, Complex, rich flavor, hoppy, with a long bitter and fruity finish. Outstanding.
3.7Pale golden pour with a thin white head and light sticky lacing ..... aroma of pineapple, lemon, grassy, grapefruit, orange and caramel malts .... taste is of lemon, grassy, grapefruit, pineapple and orange .... has some bitter and light piney hops, very dry and bitter .... finish is bitter and dry with lots of lemon, orange and grass .... decent and sessionable
4.112 ounce can from Urrban Barley in NYC. Hazy gold pour. Small rocky white head. Fragrant citrus and pine hop nose. Big citrus and pine notes upfront. Spicy and bitter with a tasty toasted malt backbone. Crisp, bittersweet, peppery hops in finish. 8.5%ABV hides wel. Very drinkable DIPA, well done.
3.7Can is a few month old, better when fresh if I recall. Malty backbone with citrus flavor. Smooth for a double
