2.5 iced tea color little bit of white head slightly sweet smell easy drinker with a slight sweet initial taste with a slight bitter taste going down these go down quick nothing spectacular but its not offensive at all its middle of the road brew
2.4 Not too different than the lager. Tastes a little maltier. Slightly roasted notes on the nose and taste. Really crispy head. Malty, skunky taste. Not too bad.
2.6 Northfield, MA. Amber body with okay head. Malty and caramel nose. Toasty flavour. Not too similar to Grolsch. Watery. Okay.
2.3 Bottle. Pours an amber color with a one finger head. Aroma is malts with caramel almost no hops. Pretty watery. Not a very good aftertaste. OK at best
2.7 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a thin off white head. The aroma was mainly caramel, but a hint of hops was present. The flavor was toasty, with an earthy hop finish.
2.8 This beer poured with a generous head and a deep amber color. The aroma is light caramel maltiness balanced by a touch of hops. Medium bodied with good drinkability, the taste is pretty similar to the smell. Very nicely balanced, this is a decent beer.
2.7 12oz bottle. Poured a ruby to amber color with a half inch head that dissipated quickly, but left heavy lacing. Smelled of sweet malt, medium hoppines for the style, with a fruity touch. Tasted of toasted grains, spicy top hops, and a bit of mellow fruit. Just a touch heavy on the carbonation. A bit of bite on the back of the tongue, not bad but a wee bit much for the mellow flavor. A fine session beer.
2.7 Bottle. Poured amber with a creamy off-white head that left light lace. Initial aroma of sulfur like lit matches. This fades to grain and burnt malts. The flavor is mainly caramel malts. Light body.
2.0 Bottle. Amber body with 2 finger head. Lightly malty with some hop bitterness. Plain and simple a miss in my eyes.
3.7 Pours deep amber into a shaker. Fluffy off-white pancake batter head leaves spotty sheets. Stale caramel aromas. Crisp with deep sweet caramel upfront and a dry malty finish.
3.0 Nice deep amber color and whitish head. Inoffensive taste; probably a little better than reviews would lead you to believe.
2.9 Amber color, aroma like caramel, friuts and grains, a little bit watery, but refreshing, not bad.
2.8 Nutmeg caramel nose, some slight hop spice.Crystal clear amber color with a frothy head. light malty sweetness, considerable bitterness. Well carbonated, thinner body, slightly astringent mouth feel, nice balanced finish. A very easy drinking beer with better than average bitterness for an Amber Ale.
0.5 There is something about this beer which had a bad effect on me. It is very chemicalised or something I expect. Leaves an unpleasant feelings. Those adverts with the haunted thing seem relevant.
3.2 Clear amber colour with a small but lasting head. Aroma of fruits, caramel malts, grains, and flowery. Malty flavor, sweet, and medium bitterness. Medium body, not watery at all (except by the finish). Well rounded and refreshing, very surprising beer.
2.2 Not much aroma, thin, and watery. It was quite drinkable, my girlfriend drank most of the one I had. Not a big loss that she did either.
3.6 This was a decent brew. Pours a copper amber with a nice head. Lots and lots of roasted malts to this one. Finishes smooth. Not much hop character to it though. However, it is pretty drinkable, has good flavor to it, and isnt too expensive. Worth a try.
2.3 Poured a thin head that disapeared quickly. Aroma wasn’t great, a little skunky. Tasted as watery as the lager, but the aroma and palate were better as it was a little smoother.
2.6 From a bottle poured a light amber color with a fair amount of head. Kind of a watery beer taste.
2.1 This is an ok beer that you can find in mass quantities, worth a try if you like amber ales.
2.2 THOUGHTS: Not much to this beer. Nice and malty, but nothing special. It might have been a little better, if not for the slight skunkiness from the clear bottle. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, medium amber with an average-sized, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was moderate grain and caramel malts and light to moderate grassy hops. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and light to moderately acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet, sour and light to moderately bitter for a second with a short to average duration. There was caramel malt then a little grassy hops. The light to medium body was sort of watery with fizzy carbonation and a lightly astringent and slightly metallic finish.
2.6 Well, it’s a bit like a Newcastle with a hoppier finish. The palate is caramel and brown sugar, with the aforementioned hops coming in toward the end. Not bad, but nothing to go out of your way over. Beats the hell out of Grolsch lager though!
2.6 Golden colour, good white head. An average crispy lager, but there is nothing to get excited about either. Would go well with spicy food, as it would not distract from the flavours.
2.6 Kinda soda pop like. With a semi-real, semi-artificial taste to it. Some caramel and roastiness to it. Refreshing, but nothing much to it i guess.
2.4 Purchased at Mexican Wal-Mart for 44 pesos a six-pack, not bad but i prefer the green one.Semi-aroma, nice body, average white head, Newcaslte Brown Ale-like flavor, smooth palate, seems and tastes more like a Xmas beer, average.

2.7 12 ounce bottle purchased at local supermarket Broward County, FL for $1.13
2.7 Certainly better than the regular. Good malty sweetness but flavor is somewhat flat and no depth. Just ok.
1.9 Looks better than it tastes-mild nose of caramel and brown sugar-some piney hops. Moderately sweet but not much hoppiness. Bland, Kinda watery. Like a previous rater said-it’s tastes like MIchelob AmberBock. I’ve had better amber ales.
1.8 Bottled, pasteurised, 330ml. Reddish amber with white head. After the excesses of the weekend I thought I would get this one through the system. Cardboard aromas to the fore with a soggy newspaper taste, including the printing ink. Lively without being fulfilling, there is a nutty quality in there which stops it being a drain pour. Overall poor, but not terrible.
