2.8clear darker golden colour, medium sized dense white head, which lasts for quite a few minutes leaving back some white lacing;aroma of toffee, slight grassy and citrusy notes, maybe some apple and spicy alcohol; taste of malty-caramel sweetness, some cardboard and metallic notes and also hoppy bitterness - the high ABV is surprisingly hidden, it can only be felt in the aftertaste; obviously not a perfect beer but definitely the best malt liqueur I've tasted so far - at least it is drinkable
2.2Bottle from Albert Heijn, Bennekom. As 'Krachtig Kanon'. Pours clear dark golden with a lasting, small, unstable, frothy, off-white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of apple sauce, ripe banana, white bread, wet grain, jenever, cooked cabbage, clove, tooth paste. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of banana, apple & pear, thrown together in a disorganised kind of way, lots of apparent white breadiness & white sugar, retronasal effect of DMS as well (cabbage); bitter tones provided then by clove-like phenols, juniper, pepper, 'crude' grain, the alcohol warming up already and a weird note of mint. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, grainy & clove-like, white sugar resting on the tongue and warming, not too subtle alcohol (say, cheap gin). Medium body, slick-oily texture, lively carbonation. I've had worse in this segment (think Gordon Finest series) but still, it's a painfully bad beer.
2.9Bottled, 300ml, aged 9yrs from a Supermarket in Harderwijk, Gelderland, Netherlands. Gold with white head. Oddly the ageing does seem to have improved this beer. There are smooth alcohol notes, peach, apricot the fiery impact has dissipated. Some caramel flavours, some smooth brandy hints. It's okay.
1.4zapach ciężki, słody, alkohol, kurz, przejrzałe jabłka, ogonki z jabłek. kolor złoty, klarowny, piana biała, średnio obfita i trwała. w smaku ciężkie, pełne, na pierwsyzm planie alkohol, jabłka, pestki i ogonki, kurz, niewiele więcej. goryczka umiarkowana, jabłkowa i kurzowa, wyraźnie alkoholowa. mocno grzeje w ustach. nasycenie umiarkowane do niskiego
2.6The third and final 'Park Bench' beer I shared with my son at a family gathering on 6th April 2019, my back garden. No bench or paper bag in sight. Why do Dutch breweries do this? Extra strong lagers for drunks isn't the way forward. At least this was better than the two Bavaria (Lander Brau) cans we had before, but this is just a sweet, malty alcohol hangover like they were too.
2.0Dun bier weinig smaak
Veel alcohol . Nee niet mijn bier . Zijn lekkere bieren te krijgen .
2.2Clear ochre liquid, small head. Aroma of alcohol. Medium body, hardly any carbonation. Taste is sweet, a bit alcoholic.
4.7One of the best strong beer ever. Great taste according to 11,6 alc. Ideal for having quick mood up after hard day.
2.050cl can.
Clear golden colour, medium sized white head.
Malts, syrup, caramel, alcohol, very sweet flavour, but also rather disgusting.
Low bitterness with medium carbonation.
2.8Fluffy off white head soon left a cover on a nearly translucent light golden body.
Malt aroma with flora.
Full bodied, soft on the palate with a cloying finish.
Sweet malt, floral tastes with tangy finish with burn
2.5It goes by the name: Strong and devastating. Malty, sweet, but too much boozy flavours which ruin the drinking experince to a large extent.
2.7Bought at a AH in Holland for 0,98€,- in a 0,5L can, together with a lot of other strong budget lagers for a test on my blog. Appearance; looks like a normal lager, maybe an inch more darker. Normal head, which reduces rather quick. Nose; lots of booze and a bit of sweet malts. And bit metallic.. Taste; it is rather flat, but it has the taste of junipers, malts and a lot of alcohol. This is a typical vagabond beer, but for the ones who wander the streets in style. For this price, you cannot expect much. I think there is a lot worse.. but thank God a lot better also!
3.1One of the strongest beers I’ve tasted so far. It’s very heavy, but has a very sweet flavor that’s not the most tasteful in my opinion. It almost smells like RedBull. If you want to get drunk on beer easily, this is beer is your thing. But for the taste? Not the very best.
1.8(bottle) clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of sugar icing and some soy sauce, with lots of pale malts, manure and disinfectant. flavour is mostly sugar icing and pale malts, heavily metallic and sweet, bah! heavy-bodied with average carbonation.
2.3Quite sweet by the added sugar, some hint of juniper, some hint of caramel. Almost no smell, and a very flat taste. Booooring.
2.8Aroma is dead yeast, dead hops, some hints of grass and a bit of syrup. Taste is sweet malt and some fusels, some harsh hoppiness. Boring.
2.3Bottle, many thanks RW80! Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is honey, sugar icing, papery. Taste is the same, fussle oils. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very papery, sirupy and boozy - as expected. A proper Malt Likkah.
2.9Bottle. Golden with a medium white head. Malty and earthy notes. Malt, caramel fruit and hops. Full body with a Malty / bitter finish.
3.1Mostly don't rate such well-known beers, bu why not? Bottle pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is malty, sweet (between sugar and soft caramel) and somewhat spicy. Taste under medium sweet, small bitterness. OK carbo; you don't feel the alcohol that much. It's an OK strong pale beer, but nothing special. As expected...
2.9Goudgeel helder, witte schuimkraag.
Moutig, ziet, kruidig en prikkelig. Suikerwater stropig. Troep is het niet.... maar ook geen hoogvlieger.
4.0Heerlijk kruidig biertje
Iets zoetig
2.9Bottle from secret Sinterklaas Maakun, who got me the style tick I was trying to avoid :-) Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is really boozy, so much you there's really nothing else to get. Taste is surprisingly good, malty, herbal and light fruity. Too bad the boozyness spoils it. Sweet. Sweet and boozy. But not quite as bad as I remembered it too be. Many thanks Maakun for making this possible!
