4.3 Color negro opaco con espuma media marrón de buena retención y residuo. Aroma a maltas tostadas, madera, centeno y vainilla con notas a canela, ceniza, azúcar moreno y frutos secos tostados. Sabor a café, cacao, maltas tostadas y vainilla con notas a madera, tierra húmeda, resina y ceniza. Dulzor maltoso medio-alto y amargor torrefacto/terroso alto con regusto muy largo. Textura sedosa, cuerpo denso y carbonatación baja. Una Russian Imperial Stout aterciopelada y de fuerte carácter torrefacto. Matices de vainilla, ceniza y tierra con alcohol muy bien escondido. Gran cerveza.

3.5 Una cerveza con una carbonatación media y poca retención de espuma. Con aromas a vainilla, chocolate, licor y un poco de granos rostizados. Un sabor a chocolate, con un toque fuerte de licor y con un sutil sabor a vainilla.

4.1 Robe noir d'encre, bele mousse fine et brune, tenace (presque 2cm). Nez riche de vanille, torréfié (cacao), avoine. Attaque délicate, on sent bien le cacao amer et la vanille. Amertume puissante mais bien menée. Texture soyeuse d'avoine. L'alcool se sent très légèrement dans la gorge, en finale, atténué par l'amertume. L'ensemble est délicat et subtil, aux arômes marqués, convenus mais très bien faits. On a vraiment l'impression d'avoir infusé du cacao en poudre et des gousses de vanille. Superbe !

3.8 33 cl bottle at C.A.T.M., Madrid. It pours jet black, shiny and clear, with a thick fawn head. Aroma is chickory, coffee, leather, walnut shell, shale, black chocolate. Boozy, less oily than expected, very bitter (maybe somewhat over the top, 'cause it's not so crisp.) Lingers long after sipping, with more reminiscences of black chocolate.

3.6 Sample @ Brewskival, Helsingborg 2019. Roasted malty and ashy with licorice, dark chocolate and vanilla, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter.

4.1 A good beer made by a Catalan brewery that always makes good products, of a guaranteed quality. A beer that follows the style cannons, without stridences but surely.

3.4 2018 bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is roast, chocolate, liquorice, not much vanilla in the smell. Taste is vanilla, chocolate, cereals, black breadcrust. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Roasty aftertaste. A bit too sweet and unbalanced.

Medium/wide taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with hoppy dark fruits and some slightly roasted malts. Medium body with medium/low carbonation. 4.1 #2905 Bottle. Ruby to black, clear, without head. Aroma of vanilla,nougat, chocolate. Taste is moderately bitter, lightly sweet, cocoa, cocoa nibs, caramel/toffee, nougat, vanilla, chocolate, bonbons. Creamy texture, medium to fuller body, low to mid carbonation. Smooth, delicious.

4.2 Bottle 0.33l, vintage 2015. Clear, red to black colored. AROMA- sweet chocolate, cocoa drink, strong vanilla. FLAVOR- neutral, pleasantly bitter, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa powder, nuts, pralines. Fuller bodied. Great.

4.1 Color negro, opaca. Un dedo de espuma beige con buena retención. Aroma a café tostado y chocolate. Gusto dulce, malta tostada, café, chocolate con leche y vainilla. Cuerpo oleoso. Imperial Stout muy melosa, de textura aterciopelada, muy agradable, me mola esta birra.

3.7 Bottle from a trade. Thanks Taboada! Dark brown/black colour, brown foam. Very roasty, lots of coffee along with vanilla notes. Lots of vanilla, a bit too sweet but not bad.
