Esta cerveza destaca principalmente (y casi en exclusiva) por su espuma. Al principio parece que te hayas equivocado de lata y te estés sirviendo un capuchino de espuma muy densa. Luego parece un té con leche con espuma (lo que es un poco raro). Al final la espuma se va separando del líquido al igual que ocurre con la Guinness de grifo en un efecto francamente conseguido.
La espuma es densísima y de burbuja microscópica, como si fuera una crema. Su persistencia no es que sea larga, es que te acabas la cerveza y todavía queda cabeza.
A partir de ahí, poco más. La persistencia de esa espuma tan densa impide la salida de la mayoría de los aromas. Puedes notar algo de melocotón al fondo, quizá. Lamentablemente, no remonta en boca. No es que esté mala, es que es muy muy plana.
Es agradable de beber, la verdad, pero no dice mucho. La ausencia de notas de lúpulo francas (ni fresco ni maduro) hace pensar que le han puesto el nombre de IPA solo porque está de moda. Quizá podría ser una Regular Bitter. Pues eso, una curiosidad y poco más.
I really like the consistency of this IPA. Though there isn't much after-taste in this one. Classic IPA, with the characteristic consistency of Guiness.
Eh ben, quelle a été ma surprise en voyant ce matin au rayon bières d'un supermarché cette canette 50cl blanche estampillée "Guinness" avec l’appellation Nitro IPA... Nous avons ici une IPA (à voir) poussée avec une cartouche d'Azote comme sa grande sœur la "vraie Guinness", et brassée avec pas moins de 5 houblons, à savoir Admiral, Celeia, Topaz, Challenger et le fameux Cascade. Ouverture de la canette, le bruit caractéristique de décharge d'Azote, versée (dans une pinte Guinness bien sûr !) similaire à la brune avec une mousse dense et onctueuse couleur crème, stable sur 1cm, qui révèle après décantation une blonde/ambrée acajou et translucide. Partant totalement sans a priori (mais un peu quand même), le nez s'affirme comme très intéressant. Caramalt, pointe de miel, vanille, pain d'épices, réglisse, belles notes herbacées et florales, petit côté boisé, reine-claude, poivre, coriandre, pomme verte à cidre, thé vert. On ne retrouve pas le côté IPA à l'Américaine, on se rapproche vraiment plus de l'IPA Anglaise. C'est frais, aromatique, bien équilibré. Une très belle entrée en matière. En bouche, carbonatation faible "à la Guinness", beaucoup de corps comme son ainée, texture souple et soyeuse, presque huileuse, peu de sucres, une amertume bien maitrisée qui rappelle immanquablement la brune. La deuxième gorgée est plus légère, un peu sur l'eau dès le contact de la langue, ce qui fait qu'elle perd subitement un peu de corps. La troisième est sur les herbes et le houblonnage. En rétro-olfaction il ne se passe malheureusement pas assez de choses notables. Plus cette bière descend, plus elle m'apparait quelconque et sans saveur, alors qu'en toute première intention elle avait quelque chose à raconter. Comme si la langue et le palais avait été anesthésiés. Le houblonnage en devient même médiocre, si ce n'est ce côté thé vert qui surnage. L'amertume reste la ligne conductrice et il ne restera plus qu'elle sur le final d'une tristesse platonique. Je dois vous avouer que les 50cl sont de trop. Il reste un thé glacé pétillant un peu écœurant, et je dois dire que ce n'est pas ce que je recherche en buvant une bière. C'est bien la peine d'avoir gâché 5 variétés de houblons... Décevant. Canette 50cl, supermarché XXX, Saint -Laurent-Du-Pont.
Can. Clear amber color, thick luxurious head. Light malty, floral aroma. Dry taste, moderate bitterness. Light hoppy, fruity aftertaste. Low carbonation, medium texture.
Qualifies more for a hoppy lager or maybe a pale ale.
On pourrait enlever la dénomination IPA sur la canette. Mais est quand meme interessante et me rappelle une ale sans bulle des pub ecossais.

Medium creamy white head. Clear Amber pour. Light bitterness
Dunkles gelb, natürlich ein toller cremiger schaum, beim einschenken macht es richtig Spaß, der Geruch is dann aber schwach leicht hopfig etwas malz, auch im Geschmack recht laff also für ein IPA definitiv zu wenig Power
Tap. Dark golden, with good and dense yellow foam. Aroma: fruity, apricot and flowers, light citrus, a little sweetness. Taste: soft and silky, thanks nitrogen, citrus, fruity, slightly earthy bitterness, drinkable.
440ml Dose mit Nitro Kartusche. Schön miussierend. Dann orange und klar. Cremiger Nitro Schaum. Blumiger Hopfenduft. Der Geschmack ist erstaunlich schwach. Etwas Malz, Karamell, wenig Hopfen. Enttäuschend.

Color amarillento turbio con bastante espuma blanca cremosa persistente.
Sabores maltosos y suaves herbales lupulados cítricos. Poco más...
Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber con suave gradación alcohólica con algo de gas. De lo más normal.
Clear amber color with tall, creamy head. Aroma is hoppy, toffee and caramel. Taste is light bitter, caramelly notes. Not balanced at all. Almost unpleasant mouthfeel. Watery.
Ipa bez gazu. To nie to.
Guinness Nitro IPA 5.3%. Amber, sweet pine aroma, medium bodied, pale malt, pine, sweet minty finish. Strange take on IPA, but not an IPA. One of the worst beers I’ve tasted.
Can bought at Kulturbolaget Malmö, Sweden. This is an IPA as they used to taste before the craft brewing boom. Not so hoppy with some more taste from the malts. It's ok, but the lack of carbonation and some strange sweetness makes it more like an english ale than IPA.
Robe ambrée, un peu grise. Col beige et épais. Pas d’arôme si ce n’est quelques notes terreuses. En bouche, c’est franchement degueulasse. Entre ce goût de terre, une carbo inexistante, du sucre ajouté et une amertume en fin de bouche plus que douteuse, on est pas bien. Une catastrophe
Amber colour, creamy head, hints of hops. Sweet. A bit of bitter, average aftertaste. An easy drink.
Color naranja oscuro, sin turbiedad cuando el nitrógeno deja de "bailar ", translúcida. Espuma marfil, cremosa, casi sólida y retención infinita. Aroma escaso a cereal, herbal y, extrañamente, leche en polvo. Sabor a cereal, herbal y un punto cítrico, final de escaso amargor herbal y leve óxido, alcohol inapreciable. Textura acuosa. Carbonatación baja.
Totalmente innecesaria.
Extremely disappointing. Not close to an IPA and lightyears away from anything I would associate with a nitrogen infusion. Just disappointing. Beware!
clear reddish amber colour, one inch of dense slightléy beige-ish head; aroma and taste of a typical English-style IPA with fruity and floral notes; thanks to the nitro ball in the can it is very smooth...though I'm not sure that it is a real pro in case of an IPA...
Sweet aroma with a touch of green notes. Dark amber, with the most beautiful large white, very long lasting creamy head. The taste is weird sweet with a tiny bitter finish. Light body, creamy texture & no carbonation.
It's not an IPA and not even close. Easy-drinking and sweet. Weak aroma, weak taste - just bought the guinness logo on the can and not the drink inside.
The aroma is weak (Although it is written that 5 hops are added), only a beautiful view from nitrogen ..

Barwa miedziana, klarowna. Piana jest niesamowita. Biała, wysoka i niebywale trwała. Na powierzchni płynu tworzy zwartą masę przypominającą jogurt.
Aromat jest dość delikatny, chmielowy (trawiasty, kwiatowy, nieco owocowy) z odrobiną karmelu i lekką słodowością.
Smak: tutaj podobnie lekka słodowość i nuty karmelowe wzbogacone akcentami chmielowymi, kwiatowymi, trawiastymi i lekko owocowymi. Goryczka niska, niewiele wnosi.
Wysycenie średnie. Pełnia średnia.

Tall can from the St Remy Intermarche. Drank in Eygalieres on a hike down the Alpilles with Matt! Kind of like bitter oat and hay water - hops are present and grassy but also like wet produce, some musty coins/gym, very light sweet biscuit and herbal Ricola flavour. Not great, but admittedly the flavour is very creamy and smooth.
440ml can from Intermarche on hike in Eygalières. Aroma is damp old hops and old produce, dirty sock. Taste is muddled light bitterness and wet tree. Palate is smooth from nitro but has effect of making it seem uncarbonated. Really unfortunate.
Half pint on tap at Beer Station, Madrid. It pours clean, copper to amber, with a thick, dense, creamy ivory head. Beautiful.
Mild aroma is honey, peach, orange blossom, bitter herbs.
Medium-bodied, almost no carb, soft, fresh and rather bitterish. Meidium to long-lasting finish with a tinge of coffee. Nice, don't know why the low score (is it because of its belonging to a commercial big firm?)
Clear amber body and creamy white head. Sweet hoppy, some melon, papaya and bread aroma. Sweet flavor, little sour and bitter. Medium body and low carbonation.

Nez tropical produit par les houblons
Robe noisette qui donne une impression de nuage avec l'effet pression de la boule dans la canette. La robe prends à la suite une robe ambrée plutôt sombre ainsi que trouble.
Mousse de superbe tenue d'un blanc ivoire
En bouche c'est plutôt plat par contre on ressens quelques légers arômes houblonnés qui offrent une plate amertume de pamplemousse qui tiens un peu en palais en plus de n'avoir que peu de bulles avec un ressenti bien aqueux, on ressens à la suite un peu de malt avec une texture laiteuse.
En clair niveau esthétique le rendu est sympa mais le goût ne suis pas. Bref Guiness n'est pas fait pour les IPA.
Golden color, medium sized white head. Aromas of citrus, mango and bread. Taste of citrus, bread and hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Not sure about the nitro/IPA mix.
