3.6 Bottle. Golden pour, with a thick white head. Nose is lemon, hint of grapefruit, and a rich rye. Taste is grassy, grapefruity, and quite decent. Rather "summery", with a nice grassy note which lingers.
2.9 Clear yellow, white lacing foam. Aroma is barley and taste too, but with a bitter aftertaste. (Dublin 201807)
3.1 Pours orange from the bottle. A frothy off white crown soon fades. Aroma is pineapple, grapefruit, garden weed. Taste is mildly bitter, grainy, with some acridity at the finish. Body is medium. Okay.
3.0 On draft at Guinness storehouse, Dublin. Amber pour, with an off white head. Mildly hoppy, citrus, light grapefruit, watery, light malts, and a bit of rye.
2.6 Aromas frescos, pino, herbáceos. En boca es áspera y de amargor plano y breve.
3.1 Bottle from Costcutter Kings Cross. Light citrus, some hop and a little rye spice. Good balance, drinkable.
0.5 Tastes like feet. Perhaps Guinness will actually try and make something nice instead of just bombarding the market with hastily brewed rubbish. But then again, when you can afford to show TV adverts all over the world and tell bars what they can and cannot sell, is there any need to put some effort into the beers?
2.6 500ml bottle at home. Pours an opaque brownish red, thin off white head that’s gone quickly. Aroma of digestives, some hop cones, rye bread. Taste is same but with an unpleasant stickiness that stays on the tongue. Oily finish, unpleasant aftertaste.
2.7 Bottle from Tesco Metro, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Mildly hoppy due to the rye subduing this, however it's certainly not an overbearing ingredient, but at the same time nothing to get excited about.
2.4 backlog 500ml bb06/2018, saveur?AHEYn? - - Kort: reduces the hefty spice of a rye ale and the fruitiness of a more modern pale ale both into the insipid fruityphenolic mess of a skunky lager. - 2nd runnings of straw, and maybe - rye bread - lemonade. Minimal flourishes of tangerine.
3.5 Liked this. Hoppy and spicy. Low bitterness and short finish. V Drinkable.
3.5 Cloudy burnt orange. Nice rocky head . Definitely get the rye in there. Thought it really normal and forgettable but then I warmed to it. Sourness in mouth and easily drunk.
3.6 A very nice pale ale, not too hoppy and not too bitter. Nice malty and Rye flavours, herby, even spicy notes.

3.0 Well, don't knock it. They've entered the 21st century at last. Spiralling bronze with a rocky whip of foam. Albeit in a Weizen. Pungent fox piss, alley, privet and dank hawthorn aroma. Wet, mouldering English woods. Tastes that way with satsuma, fennel and juniper spice. A bit fake and heavy handed. In fact I could be a right curmudgeon and say I preferred the days when they made 1 beer well instead of 27 badly. But still, benefit of doubt given.
3.4 Bottle. Amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is roasted and nicely hopped. The flavour is bitter with roastedness, toffee, and yeastiness. Overall a nice bitter and roasted beer.
3.0 Bottle. BB June 2018; Drank Dec 2017 - Lightly hazed amber in colour. Average foamy off-white head. Malty; toasty malts, bready, rye. Spicy; peppery. Fruity; lemon citrus. Hoppy; slight hops. Moderately bittersweet malty fruity spicy throughout. OK. Drinkable. (2017-12)
3.5 Hazy amber colour with lasting fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have some light citrus hop and toasty grains. Decent body. No complaints about this one.
3.4 A plesent rye pale ale. Cloudy golden/copper colour, rye and citrus smell. A nice beer but not a world beater!
4.2 the tantalising nose, ruby appearance with a balanced acidity and dryness, making it smooth and luscious, left me with a great aftertaste and feeling of mmmm, aaaah! I almost forgot it came out of a bottle. A great beer which I hope Guinness will continue to produce indefinitely.
3.2 Bottle. Dark golden coloured with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and some rye. Taste is malty, citric (grapefruits, lemons) and tangy/spicy (rye, pepper). Medium carbonation. Refreshing and ok but I wish the rye was way more prominent.
3.1 Grassy aroma. Amber color slightly hazy. Not much malt profile at all, citrus hop taste slight peppery finish. Nothing special
3.4 Bottle into glass. Peppery aroma. Hazy Amber w thin head. Grains and a Tart finish.
3.2 Aroma: citrus, hay, dough. Appearance: golden, clear, frothy. Taste: light sweetness, lightly sour, umami. Palate: light body. It won't get a high score, but I prefer it above an average Pilsner.
3.6 Nice deep golden color with a fine off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Decent lacing. Looks good and inviting. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Good balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Nice character in this one. I tend to like rye beer. Rye, toast, fruity and a bit floral flavor. Nice and pleasant beer. Quite session able stuff. [Bottle from Co-op Food in Liverpool – Wavertree, England]
3.2 12 oz bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear dark golden amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale lightly toasted malts, earthy hops, light fruit, light floral notes, very little spicy rye character, nothing really bad, just nothing to get excited about.
3.4 Bottle. Poured a dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex hop and earthy aroma. Medium body and a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.
3.3 Rye Pale Ale is light bodied, golden with strong beige head, lemon citrus and rye malt flavors. Guinness proves once again it knows how to brew a pub worthy beer.
2.9 Single bottle from Bottles & Bitters at Sloan's Lake. Golden to amber colored appearance with a diminishing white head. Aroma of toasted malt and a touch of peppery rye spice. Similar flavor, adding mild sweetness and a touch of zesty bitterness. Light body with a semi-bland finish. OK.
